This is my favorite Starbucks. EVER!!! I normally come here around 7 – 7:15 ish atleast twice a week. Somehow, I come right after a rush or beat another rush. There has never been more than 3 people ahead of me. I also get a Frappuccino and I’m out within 15 minutes at most. The staff are absolutely amazing! I’ve been to other Starbucks around Houston(mainly the ones in Target and Meyerland) and they can’t compare at all to this one!

The staff here are always so friendly, however, there is always a loooooong line. It seems like this location is consistently understaffed, which is crazy considering this location is located inside a huge medical building and there is constant traffic. Get it together Starbucks and hire more people!

I’m convinced this is the worst Starbucks in all of America. No matter how long the line is you can expect to wait 15 minutes to An hour for your drink. They need another barista. Especially with mobile orders they get over louded with drinks to make and it ends up taking forever. See picture I put

Busy lunch rush but the baristas were knowledgeable, competent, quick, and very friendly. Heard them get some crazy detailed orders and they didn’t even blink/hesitate. I’m pretty impressed with this Starbucks

I only come to this location because I work close-by otherwise, I would never come here. First of all, there’s no drive thru(parking in this area sucks). The lines are ALWAYS long but this is to be expected since this is the only Starbucks on this side of the Med Center. I usually come here for coffee runs during work and show up with a long list of drinks to be made for my coworkers and this location has yet to mess up any of my orders(kudos for that). However, do prepare to wait as there are many staff from the UT Building and Memorial Hermann who roll up with long order lists like me… it is definitely worth the wait though! The staff is very friendly and don’t seem the least bit annoyed even when the lines are out the door. My only tip when coming here for TMC workers: If you do have a long list of items to order, it saves time if you write all the orders on one piece of paper with each person’s name so each cup can be labeled with the correct name & drink– this also makes it easier when you go back to work and distribute it out.

Literally the slowest Starbucks this side of the equator. Granted they’re busy and the closest one this side of the med center, but after all these years they need to work on their efficiency.

This Starbucks closes early like before I get off work. Maybe at 5? I like it! But it’s always busy with people in and out. Not somewhere to study but right by the memorial Herman and zoo train stop. Bathroom is a little far on the 2nd floor. There’s outside seating and wifi.

I’m generally not a big fan of Starbucks since I’m not really into large, chain coffee corporations. This location isn’t much different, as the drinks here are nothing more than standard. But what differentiates this place is two things: 1) The line. Because of the location of this Starbucks, the line can sometimes get out of control, and you may often find yourself waiting pretty long for your drink. This is pretty understandable though, considering many doctors and nurses come to this location out of convenience. 2) The staff. The staff here is super great! The baristas and cashiers are incredibly funny and definitely love to have fun while working. Whether they’re dancing, singing, or giving you compliments, the workers here really know how to enjoy themselves. It’s honestly pretty cool because you wouldn’t expect something like this from a typical Starbucks.

I’ve come to appreciate this location. I used to exclusively go to the other one by chipotle. STAFF They are actually so nice. Even with the constant buzz of people, they remain friendly and genuinely seem to love their jobs. DRINKS ONPOINT. Oh my goodness. This location trains its baristas well! They know how to make every drink, and they make them very well. Quality is great at any time of day. AMBIANCE Always a line of people. It’s very constant especially in the morning. The tables and chairs are nice. The corner in the back is great if you need to get some work done. I’ve gone to this location 3 – 4 times this week. Need I say more?

Staff of this Starbucks, You are The Best. You always make me think — what if I quit it all and become a Barista at Starbucks? YOUARELIVINGTHEDREAM. I am convinced the air is laced with something happy inducing. As a customer — you will wait. You will wait in a line of 10+ people at ANY time of day. You will do it because the next«real» Starbucks is a 10 minute walk away. Stop being pissed. Wait in line. Be happy. Dance to «Happy» pumping out overhead with the crew. Know that waiting means you will be reward with a great Starbucks drink! Best Starbucks, with the best staff, with the best music in the TMC. My favorite is the jolly gentleman who takes the early morning shift. Shout out goes to the super buff barista with the natural hair who makes the best Flat White. Thank you! I adore you! You will wait. And you will deal with it. Because there is nothing closer and nothing better. One way to pass the time is by dancing in line to their fantastic playlist(needs more 70s Funk, IMO). Take in the rare moment where waiting does not bring bad news in the TMC.

Standard Starbucks but SUPERPACKED. Good study spot for Rice students though and it’s right off the metro!

I work at Memorial Hermann in the Medical Plaza Building. I love this Starbucks — I am literally there 2 – 4 times per day. Everyone there is very friendly. My favorite 2 baristas are definitely Paul and DK! Those two can put a smile on my face every time. Yes, this location is extremely busy, especially in the mornings, at lunchtime, and again around 4:00 pm.

Sadly this place kind of free styles with the opening time. It’s posted to open at 530am, but didn’t get its doors unlocked today until 538 which is kind of lame when you have to be ready to go in the hospital at 600 sharp. The employees were kind of just chilling and socializing up until this point :| Being that this is the only Starbucks on the North end of the TMC, it can get pretty packed for most of the day. Be sure to avoid this place at all costs between 3pm and 4pm. You can be stuck in line for upwards of 30 minutes before you get your drink from ordering. If you come before 3 or after 445 you’re pretty ok because people have decided that beating traffic is better than their afternoon Starbucks it seems. My pet peeve is that they haven’t been making the drinks very consistently lately. I’ve ordered the same Starbucks refresher and it’s looked/tasted different the past 3 times that I’ve ordered it. –_–

I pretty much spend most of my break time at this coffee shop. The shop is welcoming and staff are friendly. This place gets really really busy especially around 7−10am.

I am not a Starbucks addict. In fact, if they all fell off the face of the planet, I probably wouldn’t even notice. So, why do I love this place? The staff! This is the happiest Starbucks in the world. Even when the line is long and patrons are becoming huffy and impatient, the baristas remain cheerful, singing, cracking jokes, calling you by name(or better yet«beautiful» or «gorgeous»), and turning your sour, tired look into a smile. FYI: This Starbucks is NOT open on weekends, which is tremendously disappointing when you are on call or visiting a patient.

Yay! A Starbucks that is within walking distance from my school. I believe it’s in the same building as Memorial Herman Hospital. Warning: This location gets very busy!

Fast, friendly, and delicious. That’s exactly what I expect from Starbucks and at this location they actually deliver. The staff is very nice and if you visit them frequently(like a local student would) they will remember you. What I actually LOVE about this place is that they occasionally feature certain deals when you buy this and that. Most other locations don’t really push them on you, or if they do, they do it very aggressively. Here they inform you of them, and THEN they pull out a coupon they hid to make the deal even sweeter for you. How friendly and awesome can the staff get!
