The last few times I’ve been here the food I got was not good. I would stay away from any salmon dishes because it was so hard and dry that I couldn’t even force myself to finish it.

Everything I’ve had has been delicious. This is a great option for those with busy schedules when you don’t have time to meal prep for the week. Yeah, it’s pricey for the portions but I think it’s still worth it.

Ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes: tastes like burned egg whites, had the texture of wet sand but were dry dry dry. So ridiculously overpriced. I regularly make gluten free pancakes, and they turn out deliciously. These were horrific. The juice tasted so watered down that I felt like I was drinking a bottle of grass flavoured water. I also juice regularly. NOT worth the money. Do not eat here if you value your tastebuds and your wallet. There are any number of healthy eating option in the same area.

You know I pass by this place so the time and never went in. Well I finally did, I was really surprised at what they had to offer. Now I’m not a health nut by any means but that lamb lasagna was damn good. Perfectly portioned, full of flavor, saucy, and all that good stuff. I though it was going to be the typical flavorless health junkie taste but I was proved wrong. I went back again and got some spaghetti and a kale salad. Looks like I’m going back again very soon. Oh and I’m sure it’s healthy af too.

This location seems to be one of their bigger ones. They have plenty of parking and food options.

To me, Snap is a lateral step away from My Fit Foods; healthful and over-priced portion controlled meals to-go. For my carb-counters and macros-monitors, and you need it stat, Snap would work for you. If you’re looking for a particular nutrient heavy meal choice, whether it be protein dense, b-vitamin infused, pre or post workout, Snap«could» certainly be for you. It’s not my favorite because everything is a bit over-priced. The drink selection and the portion-per-price ratio to me is too much. If you can cook, you’d do better to spend a less money buying these items at a farmers market and more time prepping your meals yourself. Plus, they have microwaves to heat your food. Microwaves kills any healthful benefits the food could have. For that contradiction, I’m out.

Spacious location in the old Diedrich’s Coffee with the standard Snap offerings. Delicious, healthy options to go. For such a large space, there’s surprisingly little room to «dine in»(I know, not the primary point of the place, but a good option to have). Get the grass-fed lamb lasagna. It’s amazing!

I give it 3 stars based on customer service. I was at the location on Adams and Franklin and noticed the cashier ask certain people for rewards cards or do they want to sign up for a rewards card. I know this may be small, but things like that I notice, sorry but I spent over 30.00 for lunch, a rewards card would probably help me on future orders. Other than that, the food was good. All organic, I don’t eat meat so this worked out well for me. Just remind your staff to offer any rewards to ALL customers.

If you are rating this less than a five, then something is absolutely wrong with you. If you are upset about the price, then keep it moving. Its pretty well considering these people have bills to pay. I rarely think something is better than how I/mom, makes it but some of these are hitting home. Especially, given no clean up, tons of protein and portion control(all the reasons someone would come here in the first place!) Faves — this Bison Bowl, the Turkey Chili and the Chicken Mac N Cheese. Spicy!

The concept is to grab healthy microwave-ready meals on the go and heat them up wherever you like. I had the Sezchuan Beef and it tasted great! A bit spicy, but not enough to turn me off of liking it. It had a good mix of veggies, beef and rice. Unless you place a high value on the convenience or maybe healthier nature of the food, it will seem a bit overpriced for the amount of food in each container. I was satisfied with my meal(Medium container) only because I was not very hungry. If you’ve got a solid food budget, this place definitely keeps things mild on the go!

I have come to Houston for business at least 5 times since mid 2014. each visit has delighted me because I find a new wonderful place to eat every time I come. I have been fortunate that I can spend 3 to 4 days each time I come so I can revisit the old and enjoy the new! this trip has provided another great Vegan spot. Snap kitchen has some interesting and consciously produced meals. today I had the Vegan fettuccine just outstanding my hotel room had no microwave, this dish was fabulous room temp. doing a happy dance for this great find thanks Unilocal and those of you who take the time to review.

Got a coupon to try a meal from Snap Kitchen and decided it give it a try. Ended up with the turkey spaghetti and a coffee drink. I loved the spaghetti and the coffee drink was pretty tasty as well. Not sure how often I would go just because of the prices but I would go again if I needed a nice healthy quick meal that’s yummy!

Mostly my same review from the Kirby location but this location is near Montrose and it comes aboard the same spaceship as the Kirby location does. The employees told me it’s 2 guys who own it and they are building new ones right now everywhere! This reminds me of Japan and vending machines this is the future of food! Also the Peanut Butter Pancakes are the best thing in the world, and gluten-free! My Kirby Review: 5 stars for being an awesome Gluten-Free eatery which is retro yet so futuristic. Your very own personal chef slash grandmas eating healthy living urban grub district kind of place. Walk in, notice the sleek yet modern appearance. On the top Breakfast — Lunch — Dinner sections, all noted with dietary restrictions, gluten free, dairy free, peanut allergies, etc. Grab some cold-pressed juices which keep the nutrients in longer than normal GMO juices which are packed with nastys. Then grab some breakfast options, lunch options, dinner options in your size small, medium, or large. Reasonably priced… then move on over and grab some organic agave nectar desserts. My favorite is the key lime pie and chocolate mousse. Don’t forget to get a Snap Kitchen card which will give you $ 25 off of $ 500 purchase, also she will knock off a meal for you for your first time purchase or sign up for the card. They also have a microwave and custom salad bar so you can heat up and eat it while your there at there tables. Gluten-Free for the win! They need one in every city.

I LOVE Snap Kitchen. And I’m even more thrilled there’s a new location closer to me. Situated in the old Diedrich’s Coffee House, this small location offers all of the pre-made meals that the other locations offer — without the salad bar and kitchen that you find at the Kirby location. There’s seating, plenty of parking — street parking too — and quick and friendly service. I do wish, however, this location and Kirby keep a bigger supply of the deconstructed bison burger. That meal is the jam, and for the past FIVE times I’ve gone to Snap, they’ve been out. :( Oh great. Now I want a juice.

The new Snap Kitchen took over the old Diedrich’s coffee, then Dirk’s coffee, building. As part of their marketing campaign, we found a free $ 20 gift card in the mail inviting us over to give them a try. Th interior is laid out like a mod grocery store. The walls are lined with open cooler shelves that hold all the food. Food comes in rectangular packages, essentially prepped meals for people on the go looking for healthy choices. The food options are sectioned by meal, i.e. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, etc. Each package is a prepped meal with sides included nutrition facts on the outside for the health conscious.(every person who comes in, essentially) I grabbed two dinner packages, one an almond crusted salmon plate and the other a naked beef with veggies plate, a large topochico, and two packages of deviled eggs for snacks. Total equaled out to about $ 30.(The dinner plates were around $ 10-$ 12 each) Taste wise, the food was good and tasted as if you just threw it all together in the kitchen and sat down for dinner. No complaints there whatsoever. Also, portions were larger than I initially thought, looking into those cramped plastic boxes. My wife and I were both surprisingly full from our dinner plates. We were expecting to have to grab more food from the fridge afterwards for a round two dinner. Snap kitchen is a great option if you need smart healthy food choices and don’t have the time to throw together healthy home cooked meals. A plus is the fact everything doesn’t taste like cardboard. I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 4 on price though. You’re paying almost restaurant entrée prices for a meal that looks like leftovers that you take home and reheat for yourself. If you have the spending money it may be a great way to supplement some meals with sensible Snap Kitchen ones, but ouch to your bank account if this is your consistent grocery run.

Snap kitchen is an extremely convenient and fast place to get a bite to eat. The cooler is divided up with breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees. They sell the entrees from a small to large scale and they have a big variety of food options. I would recommend snap kitchen to anyone looking for a quick and easy gluten free meal.

They always have fresh press juice daily! Loved the easy green and the refresh coco juice! Favorites: Chicken butternut squash macaroni Bison quinoa hash Naked beef/chicken They also have pretty awesome pantry goodies! Try them out!

First experience with any snap kitchen… place looks pretty unique. I used to live in the Montrose area years ago and this building held my go to place for coffee… believe it was called Dirk’s back then. Anyways can’t say too much bad about this place. It is well organized, well at least for my needs, color coated to emphasize size of entrée and labeled at the top letting you know between snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service was friendly and since it was my first time they were really helpful with showing me the different items and helping me with my choices. I’d have to say the black bean chips with the jalapeño hummus was quite appetizing… container 2 thumbs down though… couldn’t get all the hummus out because of the grooves in the container. It was a good chips to hummus ratio. Other items I got was the chicken and butternut squash macaroni and assorted fruit bowl… items were good. All in all this is easy and if your in a hurry eating and sodium conscious since most quick bites aren’t. But I will have to say that I was still a bit hungry afterward, but that also could be just me. I have a huge appetite.

This was my first visit to Snap Kitchen and I absolutely loved it! This new location on Montrose in the Museum District is one of the smaller locations(no custom salad bar) BUT there is no shortage of delicious meals! They have a great selection of fresh juices and chai tea/coffee drinks, breakfast dishes like pancakes and chicken breakfast burritos, snacks for kids(applesauce and quinoa Mac ‘n’ cheese), and then of course a huge selection of entrée meals. They have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well, so something for everyone! Everything is fresh, organic and each box has nutrition information and heating directions. Today I tried a chai cashew milkshake, a disassembled spring roll and a spicy coconut-chicken soup. The milkshake was delicious, with hints of cinnamon and ginger and only 300 calories! The soup and salad was more than filling for lunch and SOTASTY! I picked up about 5 dishes to keep at home for the next few days, each one has a Use By date, normally 5 – 6 days from date of purchase. Having to buy groceries and cook, I end up spending more money and time than I would spend at Snap Kitchen. This is a great substitute to cooking, and the food is nutritious and delicious! I will definitely be back!

The Chicken + Butternut Squash Macaroni tasted really good for lunch today! I’m glad this chain finally built a store that was close to me. I pass by here virtually every single day. Snap Kitchen’s pre-packaged, to-go meals taste a lot better than My Fit Foods, Smart Meals or the look-a-likes you’ll find at Kroger. The stores are colorful, upbeat and small. Everything is arranged so that you can easily find what you’re looking for. You can pick from small, medium and large meals. Oh course, the prices are more than they should. The small meal costs $ 6.95 and the large ones cost over $ 10.00. However, they taste extremely good and are a better option than any fast food restaurant. Additionally, you can scan the barcode with your MyFitnessPal apps and the total caloric & nutritional value of your meal with be automatically uploaded.
