Shipley’s is definitely a Houston favorite for donuts and kolaches. On my last day in Houston I knew I couldn’t leave without having a donut and kolache.
The glazed donuts melt in your mouth. The chocolate glazed donuts were not my favorite. While the glazed donuts stay warm and soft the chocolate thickens a bit. The drive thru employee was a young teenage boy that was very polite and understood customer service. I was very impressed by how young he was and how great he was taking my order and asking if I needed anything else before I drove off. The coffee was not great. I personally think it tasted a bit watered down.
