Schlotzsky’s Deli

Whenever I’m craving a deli sandwich, Schlotzsky’s is always at the top of my list. I got «lotz» of love for their yummy oven baked sandwiches so I frequent this location pretty often, mostly during my lunch hour as I work in the area. I can honestly say I have no complaints about this place– my food is always on point!
You cannot go wrong with any of their sandwiches. Some of my favs are the Original and the Albuquerque Turkey. I once tried the Angus Roast Beef sandwich and let me tell ya, I’m NOT here for it– nope, not a fan. But everything else is pretty damn good. My all time favorite is the Fiesta Chicken sandwich. Ever since this sandwich hit the menu, it has been my go-​to choice and I come in craving it! Topped with shaved chicken, cheddar cheese, black olives, roasted red peppers, chipotle mayo, lettuce, red & green onions, and sliced tomatoes, you definitely get your money’s worth. I like to add a few dabs of Schlotzsky’s hot sauce to it to give it a little kick because in the words of the Frank’s Red Hot sauce commercial «I put that s#*t on everything!» Hahaha! The bonus for me is the jalapeño cheese bun that it comes on. It goes perfect with the Fiesta Chicken. I always end up making it a combo and add on the chips & drink. I usually get the jalapeño chips and let me tell ya, they are very good! I recently tried their soup when I purchased the half sandwich & soup combo and opted for the tomato basil bisque. I was impressed! Now I’m anxious to try some of their other soup selections. They also have flatbreads, salads, pizzas, pastas, and desserts that I have not got around to trying yet, but I’m sure I will at some point. Right now that Fiesta Chicken sandwich got ya girl on lock.
Every time I come here I usually dine in and my food always comes out super fresh. Apparently not all Schlotzsky’s locations are like this. I once went to the one on the other side of Westheimer near Gessner one day for lunch and was highly disappointed with the taste of my sandwich– never again. It was not the same, which is why this location gets two thumbs up for me for their consistency. The employees are always nice and if you dine in, they will bring your food to your table. The dining area is always clean and there is usually plenty of seating available. If you’re a regular, I suggest joining their loyalty program where you can get $ 7 off your 7^th visit if you scan your receipts that are $ 6 or more to their app. I’m a fan of any type of perk, so my scan game is pretty strong when it comes to my Schlotzsky’s receipts. All in all, this is my favorite Schlotzsky’s so I’m sure there will be «lotz» more visits from this Fiesta Chicken sandwich lovin’ customer!

I got some coupons in my mailbox and went there on my break. I got my orders at drive thru which the lady that got my orders was so patients. I ordered a pizza, pasta, and flat bread and wanted to get 2 free soups which I couldn’t and had to be on separates orders. She deleted all my ordered and did it all again without complaining or changing her voice. Food was absolutely delicious and was my first time tried out their food. Definitely recommend this place

Pretty sure this place needs the health dept to come take a visit. Both myself and a coworker experienced food poisoning symptoms after eating at this location on separate days.

the customer service is terrible we gave them 100 and they dropef it and it blew to the road! and they didn’t care. i strongly encourage you to not go to this location, they are all foreign and hard to understand.

The food was great, and the customer service was, too. The bathrooms were not very clean, according to my wife. But I would eat here again.
