Houston has many hidden treasures, and I just found one. Her name is Chan, and she is a hairdresser at Salon 1, near 529 and Eldridge. Once upon a time, she worked in an exclusive salon in Memorial, near River Oaks. She also owned a salon in Katy. She cut the hair of a lot of famous people. She has a lot of experience and talent, so if you need a cut or a new look, go see her. The difference is in the details. She was cutting my hair, and I was thinking, «well, that’s probably it,» but no, she kept going, refining and adjusting until it was perfect in her view. Very nice work.
