Perfect Service. Perfect prices. They will do anything to please you and make sure you are getting the fastest alteration also. They have many fashion jewelry sets, earings, bangles, shirts, pants and many new styles to choose from in S. Kameez, Sari, Lengha, skirts, etc. You must stop at this place first before shopping others in that area. You can negotiate to them about the price as well when you are buying more than one item from his store. I have been shopping there for more than five years. Just tell them what color you want, size and event you are going and they will help you fast.

This place has the best customer service and awesome clothes. They don’t hound you or follow you; if you ask, they are sincerely there to help you. I’ve never ever felt pressured to buy anything. The man (maybe the owner) is the nicest man ever. Also, the place isn’t huge but that is a great thing in and of itself because they have the best/​latest/​no filler/​no junk stuff. Casual to fancy – they cover it all. The prices are so beyond reasonable; you’ll be sure to find something you love!!! Try the Rose B. first before you head over to Roop (which I don’t like all that much).

I needed a simple silk blue top to match my sari at a reasonable price. I visited multiple stores with no success before coming across Rose, which had exactly what I wanted. Most other stores had a limited number and color of plain silk tops with starting prices of $ 35. Rose, on the other hand, a whole bunch of silk tops in many colors with a blue that matched perfectly to my sari, and I was quoted $ 25! It gets better. They only had blue in a size L but I needed a S. The lady working here sensed my hesitance of the purchase and offered to knock $ 5 and alter it right then and there. I had my top ready in 30 min and it ended up looking great!
They also have a nice sales rack. If I ever needed more Indian apparel, I would definitely stop by again.
Btw, based on personal experience, don’t come to «little India» on Tuesdays because most of the stores are closed.

I’m originally from Houston and moved back. One of the hardest adjustments is the hot weather. My first thought: «How can anybody look good in this humidity and intense summer climate?!». I started noticing how beautiful and elegant the Indian women looked around the city wearing such colorful tunics. I’ve made it my personal hobby to browse various shops and delighted I found the Rose Boutique. They’re very professional, welcoming, have a wonderful selection, good quality, always gorgeous clothing, good sales and new items each time I visit.

The ladies (and gentleman) working here are extremely sweet and helpful. They have GORGEOUS clothes and they are willing to work with you as far as pricing goes. They definitely don’t rip you off like other stores in the area. They also have an assortment of bangles and other types of jewelry that you can check out. This place also offers alterations — which is definitely a perk because they don’t have multiple sizes of their clothes, which is understandable. Definitely my favorite Indian store in the Hilcroft area!
PS: My favorite part is that they don’t force you to purchase anything. This seems to be a problem in the Hilcroft area — the people in the other stores are so pushy and pretty much won’t let you leave empty handed. This place was definitely refreshing for me!

Visited Houston for a weekend and was really anticipating visiting little India. I’m half Indian and really wanted a tunic or jewelry from a shop in little India Houston. Looked up shops and came across Rose boutique. Ended up actually getting a Beautiful purse!!! She has some of the most beautiful purses I’ve seen, and for a fraction of what they would cost at a department store. You can’t find these at department stores though. These are Indian made, and you can tell by their design. Can’t wait to go back to buy more for me or as gifts. Something you won’t be as to find anywhere else. And their jewelry is beautiful and very affordable. Ladies, check out Rose, and men, check it out for your ladies.

All of the sales people are great, the tailor does a wonderful job and there’s a really nice lady named Zainab (I know she spells her name differently) but anyhow she’s very helpful. Always remembers me and is my go to lady when it comes to buying bangles and earrings. I don’t really buy many outfits there because they have only recently started carrying pakistani outfits (long kameez tops) and I rarely wear Indian outfits lately. Also when my gf was getting married a lot of her Caucasian girlfriends wanted to wear tikkas and bindis and Zainab was super helpful in helping the girls pick out things that suited them and she always gives me a great price. I have never had a poor experience here and love this store. Also they care a lot of selection for Auntys or bigger ladies and that too is a bonus because a lot of stores don’t have pretty outfits in those sizes but this store definitely does. I have bought my mom and grandmother a few suits here and there because they do carry a nice selection compared to the other hilcroft stores.

I loved this Indian boutique! Like any other, from the moment I walked in the service was really friendly and open to any questions you have or if you want something in specific they can help you, they have lot of different color and styles of Indian bangles bracelets! They were so pretty and not expensive. I definitely recommend this place. (:

Wonderful, friendly and curteous staff. I was helped by a wonderful sales assistant and the owner of this store is always friendly and will try to negotiate with you. Most owners on hillcroft don’t even negotiate nowdays but he will. the good saris are in the packets, so make them show you what they have. I think good customer service goes a long way. It can be crowded at times but overall not a bad place for saris and salwars.
