I suppose it’s appropriate to rate Quattro 4 stars. This is a high-end establishment that’s not quite on the top of it’s game. It’s good, classic and consistent, but not doing anything exciting or different enough to warrant a 5th star. I work across the street, so I’ve now been here for drinks a few times as well as lunch. I’d recommend drinks during happy hour to keep the bill low. They’ve got great cocktails like the Hemmingway Daquiri, which is rum with a touch of citrus and a cherry. The Blood and Sand is also good, but strong, and is a combo of three liquors(including scotch) and a little orange juice. The Discovery Green cocktail is the most refreshing that I’ve tried from Quattro’s menu. The wines are also a good option, but I’m a cocktail girl, myself. We had a lunch reservations for 7 women around the holidays and were treated well by staff, including our ADORABLE waiter. I had the Rucola salad which was $ 21, and at that price point, fortunately one of the best salads I’ve ever had. It had arugula, pears, pecans, and goat cheese and all of these melded together perfectly. This isn’t an everyday lunch locale, but I look forward to going back for the Rucola salad.

First of all — in the past, the food has been good, sometimes, but very expensive. I don’t like that combination. I don’t mind paying a premium for a great meal, but it’s got to live up to the price. I’ve come for lunch and dinner, and the food has a 50⁄50 shot of being terrible — like undercooked(hard) risotto or a really blah salad. Until I discovered the«quick lunch» — It’s soup, salad, pasta, and dessert, and now I’ve been informed the menu changes daily. Which is great because it’s $ 26! Not an everyday lunch for me, more of a splurge — but it’s always delicious! It’s now my go-to for lunch if I’m looking for something nicer downtown.

One of the best brunch buffets I have been to! I must confess that I didn’t even know about this place until I read that it was voted«Best Brunch» by the Houston Press… so of course I had to try it out given brunch is my favorite meal of the week ;) Yes it’s pricey, $ 59 to be exact, but it’s well worth the price given the variety of food and drinks offered. We had reservations at noon and where promptly seated. I asked for a table by the window but none were available… only compliant I had. Since it was our 1st time there, the hostess kindly gave us a tour of all the brunch stations and I’m glad she did because there were several! The brunch stations are set up in different rooms throughout the Resturant; a little different but interesting. Everything from a few basic sushi rolls, delicious Ahi tuna, your typical breakfast food, a bananas fosters bar, an array of salads, an omelet and pasta bar, huge chilled shrimp and crab claws, baked oysters, a caviar bar, lasagne, rack of lamb, a lovely dessert bar and various soups & several roasted /grilled veggies. And With bottomless mimosas, bellini’s and bloody Mary’s to top it all off, I guarantee you will leave in a massive food coma! Our waiter made sure to stay attentive and keep our glasses full. Definitely come hungry to get your money’s worth. This might be my new Bday a Brunch spot or a just great place to take the family when they are in town.

As a brunch buffet connoisseur this place is as good(and pricey) as it gets! I’ve had my birthday here the last two years and they’re always super catering to big groups, the private rooms are great and the service is on point keeping the mimosas flowing. Make sure to explore around as the buffet starts at the bar and goes all throughout the restaurant into the kitchen, very cool!

This is my third or forth time to have brunch at Quattro. This experience was not as good as other times. Of course were were seated near a family with a lot of rambunctious kids. Anyways. Service was fine, not great. Plates took a while to clear. Drinks often ran empty. Opted for later reservations. That I guess was my mistake. At 2:00PM they begin to quickly shut down. They were out of most desserts by the time we were ready and we were told before we even grabbed desserts that this would be out last pour of champagne… OK. The upsides were the rib roast was awesome as was the pasta option. There is a ton of food options, but it seems as the food was not quite as good as other visits. HEB makes better sushi than what they offered. I will end with food is good and it should be for the price, but I expect more. And they should expect more from themselves.

Party of two there for brunch. Food selection was amazing but sushi was not good comparing with all other dishes. Price included basic brunch cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages unlimited. Service was good but I don’t think it was a service for 25% gratuity. I it was tacky for the server to include 25% tips then told us that it was a mistake. Come on, we were only party of two unless the server wanted to remind us how much need to be tipped.

I took my husband here for his birthday, and we were amazed by the food and service. The manager, Cory, came over several times and was incredibly helpful. He even got us recipes for a few of the items, which was awesome. Our server, Wild Turkey, never left us with an empty champagne flute and was friendly and professional. The food was out of this world. Every time we tasted something, it turned out to be the best bite of whatever kind of food it was that we’d ever had in our lives. The variety was amazing: housemade pasta, soups, veggies, seafood, meat, salads, cheeses, and desserts. We were wowed! Also, the atmosphere was enhanced by the lovely pianist. Truly a memorable birthday.

I enjoyed the customer service and most importantly I enjoyed the food. and desserts! I had Halibut and asparagus with all the desserts on the menu and all of the deserts was to die for! They also have a great wine selection.

The«signature» appetizer was not so good. Veal and tuna. Salata was tasty but as expected Eggplant was excellent and short ribs great. «Potato croquet» was just inedible. Dessert fabulous and a unique display of Tiramasu. Wine selection was great and they let us sample them. Some were open too many days but they offered to open fresh bottle which was the right thing to do at this price point. We sampled and bought a bottle. So good move on their part. Some were open too long when sampling

Terribly disappointing from start to finish. We had reservations for the Chef’s table a few weeks ago for my father in-laws’ 70th birthday, and expected only the best food and service. Initially our waiter was very attentive. By initially I mean for the first thirty minutes of our party getting there. We were greeted with a smile, and were served our cocktails in a timely manner. That was about the extent of the good service aspect of the night. The chef came out and asked us about our likes and dislikes, and then began sending out our first course. Our Chef’s table was supposed to have wine pairings with each course, which we were given with the first few courses. When it was time for the third course our waiter was no where to be found, we had dirty silverware and dishes in front of us, had no new wine pairing, and all had empty water glasses. This pretty much sums up our entire evening. My husband had to get up multiple times to refill everyone’s water and my mother in law had to get up, and go into the kitchen several times to find out when our next course was coming out, and where our server disappeared to. By the third course, it was evident that someone had dropped the ball. My husband and I have both been in the service industry for a long time, and are aware that during Chef’s table a server should be in the room the ENTIRE time. Our waiter would frantically come in every twenty minutes or so trying to pick up the pieces. At one point, when he finally made an appearance we requested more cocktails, and he told me I’d have to wait a while to order them. When he finally came back, he did apologize for the wait. I’m not sure who is at fault for the service here. It was obvious that the waiter was very overwhelmed and had way too many tables. Was this a management call to give our Chef’s table server our party plus other tables? If so, than the manager may have wanted to check on our party/touch the table, which never happened. The food was also incredibly underwhelming. I may have been impressed if it was served to me in the 80’s, but none of it was innovative or flavorful. It was all generic, chewy, and generally boring. They made us Banana’s Foster for desert, which was awful. Here’s a tip guys; maybe use bananas that are actually ripe, and not bright green next time. I will say that the chefs that came out were very charismatic and entertaining. I’m very aware that the restaurant was very busy that night, and maybe as a whole they were having a very off night. However, for the«reputation» that the Four Seasons has, our table should have been attended to accordingly. Overall it was a complete unprofessional flop. My mother-in-law could have taken her husband on a tropical vacation for the amount of money she spent on the meal, which is the most disappointing part of all.

We’re staying at the Four Seasons so we decided to try their restaurant. Over the course of three days we’ve tried the chips and queso appetizer, the hummus appetizer, the cobb salad and the black angus burger. Each bite was better than the last. Everything has been extremely good. No complaints whatsoever. Top-notch dining.

As some others have done, I feel predisposed to write this review as a comparison to other Four Seasons dining experiences. We friend Quattro for breakfast this weekend, and although there was nothing wrong with it, it definitely wasn’t reminiscent of our experiences at other Four Seasons hotels. I think the number one downfall for us was that the restaurant was very plain, it could have been any hotel restaurant. The services was up to standard, with the staff very quick to take our orders and constantly around to refresh our beverages. The waitress even went to the coffee bar next door to get me a skinny vanilla latte, as they were unable to make it at Quattro. For breakfast we had the yogurt parfait and the tiramisu pancakes. Mother parfait was the usual, no complaints there. The pancakes were also pretty tasty, although could have been better presented and put together for what they were. The pancakes came with a light dusting of cocoa powder in the top of the stack, which didn’t leave much to go around amongst three pancakes. Overall, good service, but not he same as other four seasons breakfasts. More has we should have held out for brunch(which I’m sure is wonderful!).

I based my choice to dine here solely from my experience with other Four Seasons restaurants. Therefore when I recently held a private dining event here I was very disappointed in the experience. I selected a small menu for the group that consisted of steak, tuna and a pasta. The food was horrendous and very outdated with no flavor and bad presentation. I felt awful for my colleagues who were forced to be polite and eat all four disappointing courses. The service was good and the waitress made sure everyone was taken care of, for which I was grateful. Overall the place does not meet the standards of a Four Seasons restaurant or even a fine dining experience. The food was overpriced for what we received and setting up the reservation through the catering manager was frustrating. I hope this place gets the overhaul it clearly needs and deserves.

For the past two years, I’ve been taking my boyfriend to their Sunday Brunch Buffet for his birthday. He LOVES breakfast food, and to have an abundance of it with high-quality ingredients, made-to-order stations, and offering a variety of styles of food is perfect to gift this breakfast fanatic with… especially with their amazing waffles! I can write a whole different 5-star review on the waffles themselves. But I’ll save you some time and say they’re a crispy/soft mouthful of sweet heaven. If you’re a first-time guest, they’ll take you on a short tour, showing you where each station is, which starts off at the bar, and follows through the restaurant and INTO the kitchen! This buffet is that big. Just to make it easier for you, let me list out why we get so giddy the night before going here: — Made-to-order Eggs Benedict — Made-to-order Pasta(they cut the pasta right when you order it, super fresh!) — The Waffles — Bottomless Coffee, Mimosas, Bellinis, Bloody Mary’s and Bubbles(included in price) — Caviar — Cheese Bar — Charcuterie Bar — Antipasto/Salad Bar — A Live Pianist playing old classics(2-thumbs up!) — They still give you a Birthday Dessert plate, which is also delicious! — Friendly and attentive service

I am writing this review as we go through the evening. First the service is excellent with knowledgable and attentive staff. The carpaccio and the insalata both had a delicate myriad of flavors that were delightful. The bread with pesto was good but a bit dry. Very nice wine Italian wine selection from Piedmont and Tuscany regions as well as lesser known like Friuli. We had the lamb and duck. Good presentation came out hot. The duck breast is tender and nicely sauced overall a wonderful dish. The lamb is very good but not as remarkable as the duck. My wife let me have one taste of the duck and that was it! The lamb comes as a chop and a slow cooked leg with the bone removed and rolled tightly. That piece had a deep rich flavor that could be savored and enjoyed with wine. Then came the tiramisu… OK if you think you have had excellent tiramisu, I believe you have not … unless you have had it here. They prepared by our table, first chef prepared lady fingers followed by espresso, an incredible cream, cocoa powder and coffee beans. Wow.

Only in Houston for two nights and wanted something other than TexMex, we decided to try Quattro and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed a quiet, intimate dinner overlooking downtown Houston. The staff were wonderful, the food amazing… even if we couldn’t pronounce it. The caprese salad was not what we expected, but so much more. The lasagna was possibly the best we’ve had. The short ribs were okay and the table side made tiramisu was light and balanced. The manager is from Rome and very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and recommend it

This will probably be the fanciest & most expensive brunch I will ever attend(55 $/person + gratuity) but it was amazing. Everything from the food to the staff. A friend of mine organizes a monthly brunch to a different location & this was the chosen place for the month! The server gives you a tour of the restaurant & an explanation of all the exquisite food stations options. There are many food stations to choose from such as cheese, fresh pasta, caviar, sushi, fresh meats cooked & craved & the standard breakfast staples with a delicious twist. The food is so delicious & it also includes unlimited mimosas, bellinis, bloody marys & Champagne without mentioning an amazing time with friends! Valet is free as long as you remember to get validated at the restaurant before you leave. I don’t think I could make this an every weekend restaurant I could go to but every once in a while you need to splurge & this will be my go to place!

Had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon and would definitely recommend to anyone for a special occasion. First and foremost, just as an FYI because I was not aware, valet up front is FREE if you are dining at Quattro. Second, yet equally important: mimosas and bellinis are included in the price of the meal. Third, service was absolutely top notch during the whole experience. The Four Seasons never ceases to impress me in this category. Ok, on to the food. There are a seemingly endless array of options. If it’s your first time, go for the tour so you can come up with a plan of attack! There’s a breakfast bar, a couple of charcuterie stations, all manner of salad, seafood, caviar bar, a few sushi options, fresh homemade pasta, flatbread, soup, a couple of hot meats, and finally a wonderful exhibition of dessert. I’m sure some of this changes seasonally, but I think it’s a fair snapshot. It is with great regret that I wasn’t able to get a little of everything during my visit, but thinking again that might be impossible unless you’ve got a hollow leg and a few hours to spare. That being said, here is a short wrap up of what I found noteworthy in case you’re interested: Highlights: Eggs benny and fresh fruit at the breakfast station, caviar bar(had to try at least once, I mean when else was I going to be at a place with a caviar bar?), seared tuna at the sushi station, crab claws & shrimp were perfectly cooked, white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Neutral: Homemade pasta was great but the pomodoro sauce was way too tangy/sour so I called that a wash, same with the brisket since it had good flavor but it was a bit dry(probably just an inherent flaw of buffets), mussels were just ok for me — not a whole lot of flavor happening there but still decent because I love mussels :) Skip: Spicy tuna roll… that’s pretty much all I can think of. Overall, great brunch experience. You gotta go at least once!

I finally understand why parents who are too busy to give their kids attention will buy them stuff instead. As children grow up, it’s almost as if the roles reverse. These days, I find that I have less and less time to spend with my dad, so whenever I can treat him to a nice meal, it eases the guilt. We visited Quattro for Sunday brunch on his birthday. It’s located on the third floor of the Four Seasons, and the orchid-lined stairs make for a pretty picture. The host gave us a tour because the buffet stations were so spread out. What do you MEAN, I have to walk from the omelet station at the entrance all the way to the meat carving station in the kitchen? First things first– beverages are included. Go ahead and get your drank on with a mimosa or bellini. There are SO many options, but here’s the highlights reel: Seafood bar: raw oysters, ceviche, and crab claws. Crab was freezer-burned. Caviar bar: oh you fancy, huh? Starters: fresh salads Meat: featuring ham and roasted chicken that day Eggs: made-to-order with your choice of mix-ins; prepare to wait until your hairs turn gray if you want poached eggs Breakfast spread: usual waffles, bacon, croissants. Fruit wasn’t just cheap melons; they had berries! Dessert: cakes and cookies were okay, but bread pudding was DELICIOUS. Also, they’re confused about custard and panna cotta being the same thing. I’m not built for buffets. My dad can’t eat like he used to in his prime, either. We were stuffed before we even got to the made-to-order pasta station, soups, flat bread, and meat/cheese platters. I felt like a failure. The atmosphere was pleasant, and service wasn’t intrusive. We chatted over coffee without feeling rushed to leave. The presentation was grand but taste was mostly mediocre. Perhaps they should focus on quality, not quantity. Or is this just an inherent flaw of all buffets, and I’m asking for too much? $ 65 per person is steep if I’m evaluating on food alone, but there are some things money can’t buy, and seeing the smile on my dad’s face is priceless.
