Dammm! I never been to a restaurant is nice like that. Everything is new in there, their foods are so good, their waiters are super handsome. I think i will go there everyday with my parents! I love it. This is a best restaurant in Chinatown. Low price = good foods + good services. I was so lucky to found this nice place.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The food is good(really good actually), and the price is unbelievably inexpensive. I did not see any roaches as Shawn P.‘s review states, but I wouldn’t put it past them. As many of the previous spots I’ve reviewed in Chinatown, this one falls in the same category of cleanliness. Generally speaking, I hardly ever hear anyone say restaurants in Chinatown have great service and/or are clean. However, the food is good, I didn’t see any bugs in my beef noodle soup or my dumplings. It was a bit oily for my liking, but it wasn’t too greasey as one would think. I am still alive and didn’t catch some crazy stomach virus(thankfully; *knock on wood*). With that said, I would recommend this place to others in the area who would want to experience some decent food for a great price. The dumplings were surprisingly outstanding, and the noodles in the beef noodle soup were great. Service was alright. It’s what you would expect from an Asian restaurant. So besides that comment, I can’t really comment on that.

The chinese food here is pretty good. It’s not bad for family gatherings if you want cheap food with large portions.

keep in mind this is 4 stars coming from someone who doesn’t really like chinese food to begin with. i suppose this place would knock the socks off of ppl who actually do like chinese food. anyways, the dishes here is definitely authentic. the dumplings, wontons, and green onion pancake is even hand made. the dumplings look like pigs in a blanket bc whoever made them pinched the tops of the wrap together, but lazily neglected the corners lol. we ordered a bunch of food, and it was all pretty good. i especially liked the green onion pancake(call me a peasant, but i like what i like), the chow mein, and the orange peel chicken. my cousins love this place, so i’m sure i’ll get dragged back, and will be sure to try the spicy eggplant w garlic and the fried shrimp w walnuts.

My main complaint is that most of the dishes I have tried here are a little greasy. This is one of those places where everything the other tables ordered look really tasty, and the restaurant is cozy enough where you can see everything coming out of the kitchen. The flavor can require a bit of an acquired taste since their food is slight different from other restaurants’ version of the same dishes. The best thing about this place is the prices and portions are very reasonable.

This place is great for good cheap chinese food especially in a large group! Spicy eggplant with garlic is my favorite dish! That’s all I gotta say: D

The food is kind of bland. We had the egg plant in fish sauce and shredded chicken in fish sauce, hot and sour soup and General Tao chicken. The food is just too greasy to me. Price is very very reasonable, especial during lunch time. The service is excellent which is very rare in Chinese restaurant.

One star for service. One star for cheap prices and big portions. Too bad the food is bland and just not good. House special noodle– mushy noodles in a thick soup with egg, pork, and tofu that tasted like it had no salt. If this is the«house special»… Pan fried bun– no juice inside and tasted like it was just microwaved instead of pan fried. Spicy beef noodle soup– so disappointing! The soup was watered down, it wasn’t spicy at all, and the noodles were so thin and mushy. The fish fillets cooked in spicy chili sauce and the green chives pancake was pretty good though. But overall, the food was just not well seasoned. And I hate giving a bad review to this place because it’s obvious they try pretty hard. Our waitress was so sweet and was always there refilling our water glasses and providing more napkins. But unfortunately, there are just too many places in Chinatown(and in the same complex) to make me want to return.

The food was decent. However, my complaint does not need a long explanation for you to understand the low rating: Roaches. A group of us went to eat at QQs with some Chinese friends who ordered for all of us. Unfortunately, someone noticed a roach crawling on the wall. Later on, someone lifted one of the objects from the table(I forgot if it was a napkin holder or what it was) and there was a smashed roach under the glass on top of the table. It looked as if someone had turned our table into a display case for a roach. We saw another crawl on top of the table, and I believe one more was around somewhere. So while the food is decent, there are plenty of good places to eat Chinese food, where you don’t have«little friends» around to eat your leftovers.

I hope everyone who loves high quality and tasty authentic Chinese food will give this place a try. We had a party of 12 and ordered about 15 dishes(appetizers and main dishes). They were all excellent(presentation, quality, taste, and price). I highly recommend off the menu items which are posted on the wall. Those items are written in Chinese. I am sure the server will translate if you ask. One of the off menu item was sweet basil with fish filet. The fish was so fresh and it does not have mud taste at all. Their«zi lan» lamb and«dong pao» pork(braised pork w/bone) were wonderful if you are into true authentic flavor. Their veggie steamed dumplings were so good. They were moist and excellent green vegetable with shiitake mushroom and clear noodles. We had vegetarians in the group and they all agreed that dumplings are the best in town. We ordered 3 times plus 1 to go. We all think this place is much better than the next door. What’s amazing was that our total bill was only $ 93 and no tips were charged! Of course we give the server a good tip. I hope they will keep up with the good cooking.

This is perhaps the best Chinese food I’ve yet found in Houston and as good as the best I’ve found in this country. QQ’s is in the same complex as(and right next to) Fu Fu’s and other more popular but less delicious eateries. The string beans are amazing, the dumplings are to die for, and this is the freshest tasting fish I’ve ever had at a Chinese restaurant. Also, this place is shockingly cheap. A friend and I ate like kings there for a grand total of 12 dollars.

This is probably one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Houston. It’s located in the same complex as Café 101 and is right next door to Fu Fu Café. According to my mother-in-law, it’s mainland China food. This place has awesome home/hand-made noodles AND dumplings. Husband and I typically order 3 things here:(1) dan-dan mian,(2) chicken«la pi» with house special sauce,(3) pork dumplings with napa cabbage. Dan-dan mian — aka dan dan noodles. These noodles have a chilli sauce + scallions + ground pork + cucumber. It’s a hot and spicy dish and the hand-made house noodles are an awesome texture in conjunction with the cucumber. Sometimes it can be so spicy your face will melt. Fufu Café also serves this, but their dan dan mian is exceptionally spicy to the extent that there is no flavor. La-pi: The menu says these are green bean clearish noodles served with cucumber and chicken + a house special sauce. This is a salad type of dish and served as an appetizer. These are also cold noodles. It’s also my favorite dish here. Pork dumplings: Yummy, boiled dumplings and not frozen. If you’re lucky, you’ll come in on a day that they are rolling the dumplings by hand. They serve you about 15 all for about $ 4. All 3 dishes ring up to about $ 13 — even more awesome! The service is courteous enough — at least they are not rude like other places. It’s worth the trek!
