Plants For All Seasons

Ask questions! They are very helpful and knowledgeable. Learned something new today… from a novice gardener wannabe.

I don’t ever want to go to another nursery but Plant for All Seasons!
I’ve strayed and went to big box stores looking for deals and ended with a less satisfying experience. Surely there must be better? Even lured by coupons to Houston Garden Centers and you know what? You really do get what you pay for.
Each time I’ve come here, there were very knowledgable people to answer questions. One even drew me a diagram on how to plant a a tree properly. Another time, someone gave me great landscaping ideas after looking at a pic of my yard. Super patient and helpful people.
I bought a blueberry plant at one of the big box stores for $ 10. I picked the best from the lot and it kind of resembled a cousin to Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree. A limb clinging for life, seriously, it was just a branch.
For the same money, at PFAS you got at least 3 branches and even tiny berries! Hope! But for 3 times the money you got a full on bush! I read that a good blueberry bush can yield 15 lbs in a year. Organic blueberries are what? Around $ 5/​pint. Oh awesome return on investment! I went with the big beautiful bush. Thank you. Yup.

Clean, well-​stocked restroom that I wasn’t scared to visit while my mother fawned over different eggplant and tomato plants.
There is a butterfly hatchery that you can go into!
Beautiful flowers and butterflies were quite the sight to see.
I did not brave going in (my luck they would all fly out!), but I
enjoyed making an instagram video featuring the little guys fluttering about.

These guys know their stuff. So many people from my neighborhood come here. I love that Plants for All Seasons doesn’t sell commercial stuff. They sell things made in Texas for Texas lawns and follow Randy Lemmons’ advice as closely as they reasonably can. I have been coming here for years and have never, ever been disappointed.
They sell ladybugs and worms. Leaf mold compost which is excellent for your lawn. The other day I took pictures and emailed them to PFAS and they emailed me back with what they suspect my problem is.
I love the help here. They are always seeking out customers to assist.. They have great advice, friendly knowledgeable staff who’ve been here forever. I just can’t say enough good thing about them.
As other reviewers say — skip Home Depot, skip Lowe’s, and come here. You won’t be sorry.

This is my favorite plant store. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable. They also have vegetable plants other garden stores don’t have. We bought corn, lettuce, and even a grape wine bush today. They also do free gardening classes and kids birthday parties. I signed up for the next gardening class. I will update my review after the class.

If you need REAL lawn and garden expertise, skip Home Depot next door and come here. Knowledgeable, helpful folks, and they can help with more environmentally-​sensitive solutions if that’s your bent.
I’m willing to pay more at PFAS for many items, in order to support their expertise that is unavailable elsewhere. It’s worth noting, however, that in some areas (note — herbs and vegetables) they are significantly cheaper than Home Depot and the like.
