The not only was everything well priced, but the food was amazing!!! I had the pork chop and was such a thick cut of meat. I was here on a lunch date with my fiancée n the service was excellent. The drinks were good, the meat was moist and tender. The dessert was good as well. Their praline cheesecake and crème brûlée were extraordinary. I would recommend this place a million times! I only suggest you make reservations cause everyone and their mother was there to eat lol

Honestly, as good as it gets. This is an upscale steakhouse with the signature dish being the pork chop. I don’t eat pork but the gentleman beside me at the bar obviously did and boy did he have a lot of meat on his plate. When I walked in I told the young lady at the front that I was going to sit at the bar. She was pecking around on the computer screen so I asked if I needed to wait for her. She told me yes but another girl walked up and asked if I needed help. I told her I was going to sit at the bar and she told me to go on in. I have no idea what the other girl was looking for or doing. I sat at the bar, the piano man was playing along with a bass player and it just added to the exquisite ambiance. I ordered the BEST Caesar salad that I’ve ever tasted. I added onion and left off the anchovies. My entrée was the filet with lump crab meat & garlic butter & asparagus. It was absolutely delicious. Although I asked for«well» done it wasn’t cooked beyond recognition! If you decide to dine here bring your coins. This place is expensive but worth every penny!!!

Love their Famous Pork Chop. It is carved table side into 3 main parts, the fatty belly, the lean tenderloin and flavorful ribs. It has a sweet crunchy glaze and served with applesauce. Very very yummy! Just a warning, it is HUGE and definitely shareable even with 2 hungry tummies. Our sides were a creamed spinach and sweet Sriracha brussel sprouts, both were delicious! A great app is the fried asparagus with a jumbo lump crab meat topping in a garlicy butter sauce. The French onion soup was also good. The only mistake this trip was the kitchen’s salad maker. I ordered the Spinach salad with warm bacon and onion vinaigrette. It was WAYYYYY overly dressed,(almost a soup!) and it was field greens instead of spinach. Our waitress(we sat at the full service bar) was excellent and she took care of it right away. The warm bread is also delicious, great crust and soft inside. I wasn’t impressed with the by-the-glass Pinot Noir selection, considering it is a steakhouse. They need more Oregon Pinots! Overall, still a great place for a carnivorous meal!

This location charges $ 5 for valet, so just park across the street in the mall. Everyone loves the pork chops here, but I love the caesar salad at Perrys! It is made tableside, which is not a big deal for me, but their dressing is great, and what I love is that they put anchovies in it! I love anchovies in my caesar salad and this place does it right. The pork chops are huge, and cut into three pieces. Each has a distinct flavor and texture. The waiter will explain to you which is which. Deserts look great but don’t ask me anything about them: I never have room for desert.

Changed our routine up and didn’t go to Taste of Texas for a steak. We made a reservation the day before and when we arrived during the busy hour we were seated immediately. I opened up the menu and decided I was not going to have a steak. We started off with Carpaccio, Calamari and Fresh Oysters. Here is our basic review… Appetizers — Calamari — Very Tender and Tasty… though the batter/breading was too thick. The jalapeños were a nice touch. We did not finish this plate. — Carpaccio — What a great presentation and portion. The Arugula was a nice touch… It needs something else… Like capers or onion, maybe Dijon… Loved it no matter what — Oysters– So Fresh and Sweet… a real treat. — Chateaubriand– Cooked perfectly. The 3 sauces were fair. The Peppercorn was barely palatable… The Hollandaise was close to yummy and the Red Wine Reduction was so-so. The portion was 3 small pieces, cut at the table, weighing no more than 3 to 4 ounces. At the price of 46 bucks, I expected more. — Lamb Chops… Totally 5 stars… Tender, perfectly seasoned and surprising large… Totally satisfied we split a desert and had a coffee. We ordered the Hot Chocolate Cake. It was so indulgent and rich. The Cappuccino was below average… no real coffee/expresso flavor and a mid grade foam. Overall…I can hardly wait to go back to explore the menu Oh, Not bad service… no memorable… but more than adequate.

We just had such great service. Our server, Robert, handled our family table so well. Great steak, chicken, broccoli, asparagus, seafood… Everything was tops. Very enjoyable night!

I no longer live in Houston, but some nights I still have dreams about the Friday Pork Chop special at Perry’s steakhouse and then wake up wishing I was there! I believe that I’m a fairly tough critic(well, as much as a casual Unilocaler can be anyways). There are plenty of restaurants that I love and will hand out four stars too, but Perry’s is one of the few that I would rate as a 5/5, and that’s pretty much entirely due to their sublime Pork Chop special. Firstly — and this is no exaggeration — their Pork Chop is life changing. I have never before, or since, had pork chops that tender, moist, delicious, and full of flavor. Pork chops are difficult to cook with as they tend to dry out easily, and most restaurants completely botch theirs. Not so at Perry’s. The pork chops here are so juicy and tender that they put many high end steaks to shame. In fact, Perry’s is the only steakhouse where I would actually get the pork chop over any of their steaks(and that is not a slight against the steak at all either!) Secondly — the Pork Chop special is insane value. For $ 15 on a Friday afternoon, you get 3.5 lbs of delicious, delicious pork chop. That’s enough for 3 – 4 meals for the average person(or 1 meal, if you’re me). I’ve been to Perry’s many times and each time I always get the Pork Chop special. I’ve taken out of town guests and visitors there as well and every time they are blown away at how delicious it is. OVERALL: 5⁄5. World class pork chops… enough said!

Kind of disappointed with the quality of the food here, we first ordered the calamari which was a bit too salty and didn’t really go well with the peppers and jalapeños, the filet mignon for the Perry filet was too salty as well and not even tender at all but the jumbo lump crab was amazing, the pork chops was a huge portions but the meat was a bit too dry, the cowboy steak was okay quality, not tender enough and not enough marble for it to be soft, the lobster Mac n cheese was the highlight of our dinner, lots of chunks of lobster and delicious cheesyness Sorry it’s a nice and fancy place with excellent customer service but quality is not up to par

Famous Pork chops? Ha! Definitely an overrated slab of pork. Maybe it’s famous for its size but the taste was very bland. Not to mention it took an hour for it to make its«Grand Entrance» .so not worth the wait.

This review is only for the Friday pork chop. It’s huge and delicious. Show up early … There will be a line out the door. But it’s the best kind of meal for a Friday. You will be full and very impressed. I didn’t see much of the rest of the restaurant. It was four of us and we sat near the bar. Not a long wait time considering the caliber of meal. Get someone else to pay and you’ll feel very well treated.

What a great steakhouse! Came here with 4 people and booked a reservation online and glad I did. Do reserve a table here. We started with some cold beer and wine then opted for some starters. Turtle soup– excellent rich flavor, sherry on the side to add, this was fantastic. Lobster Bisque– rich, a bit different than the norm but good none the less. 2 of us had to get the Pork chop which is to die for and their signature dish. It is huge! Enough for 2 for sure if not 4– smokey, great presentation and great flavor. 2 of us opted for the Kabob. This was a fantastic presentation, lobster, shrimp, filet, — all perfectly cooked and plated over asparagus. My favorite ! Brussels sprouts were fantastic as well. Savory, not bitter, perfect . Service is top notch. One key server then lots of help to make sure food was all at right timing and even gave instructions on how to cut the pork chop or de throne the kabob. Waiter was a bit pushy as all recommendations were the highest priced items on the menu vs the best. Didn’t even recommend the pork chop but a $ 60 filet or bone in ribeye… A bit of a pet peeve for me– but so grateful for Unilocal! He’ll learn to recommend what is the best, not by price. Overall –top notch classy place. Will def come back. Great ambiance and truly a high class steakhouse. Highly recommend!!!

I’ve had better and larger portions for the price. Steak was exactly as it’s supppsed to be. Lobster and shrimp tasted very oceanic and it was over powering. All the sides were delicious. The Brussel sprouts need 5 stars though!

Been to Perry’s quite a few times and always enjoyed myself. Service is impeccable and very attentive. Great wine selection. Had their burger recently and was pretty disappointed, it was pretty dry and didn’t have a lot of flavor. Of course their pork chop is great, and a big portion. The filet is my favorite thing to order on the menu, along with some of their awesome sides(keep in mind, they should be shared family style as they are pretty large!) like their potatoes au gratin, Mac n’ cheese and sriracha brussels sprouts!

Came here with the family for Houston Restaurant Week. It’s $ 45 a person and it’s a pretty good deal. To start, I had the pear salad which was the best out of the three. It was unique, and the pears were sliced into thin strips which I’ve never seen before. Also, it was peppered well, adding a nice kick to the salad. For my entrée, I had the 8 oz filet perry which was cooked to a medium rare perfection. The steak was juicy and flavorful. I also tried their famous pork chop, which was presented beautifully as they cut it table side. The first few pieces were moist, however it started to get dry as you continue to the other parts. For dessert, I had the dessert trio, but I preferred the white chocolate cheesecake. It was so good, slightly tart with a sweet crust. Overall, Its a nice steakhouse, so get their steak!

I wanted to like it but my tastebuds just wouldn’t let me do it. I know this fine dining blah blah blah but honestly I’ve had better. So, I ordered the«famous pork chop» and a side if whipped potatoes. The pork chop is huge. One chop is enough for 3 people and served with a homemade applesauce. The applesauce is good. The pork chop is salty and marinated in a bbq sauce. It’s basically too much pig on a plate. The Good: The atmosphere is nice and romantic. Our server Sam was superb! My tastebuds did enjoy the Caesar salad and the whipped potatoes. Overall I wasn’t impressed by the food but Sam was awesome.

My boyfriend and I each got the pork chop lunch special. The portions are huge, more than enough! I’d just like to comment on how tasty the premeal bread and butter is! Service is impeccable. The waiter thoroughly explained what each piece of meat was and what it would pair well with. Drinks were also very, very good. The wait for lunch was a long one, so we ended up eating at the bar, which was still great service.

Top notch! This venue has great parking, a classy interior, friendly staff and great food. The pork chop is everything! It’s seasoned just right and juicy throughout. It’s also a large portion, so you may have to take some home. The mashed potatoes are rich with a garlic flare. Good spot for lunch or dinner.

This place was above my expectations. After my experience at the Katy location I was hesitant to have a full experience at this location, even though I have had only take out from here. It was my birthday and my cousin brought me here for the good ol Pork Chop lunch, she had never had it… THEFOOD cocktail-Pineapple jalapeño mojito-I am the pickiest person when it comes to mojitos. This one was beyond perfect. Not too sweet just perfectly refreshing. STARTER Warm Spinach Salad-So Damn gooooood! I am obsessed with this salad. The spinach is lightly wilted, with warm bacon, egg, and red onion on top. Its more of a savory salad, soo good. Entrée Pork Chop Lunch-I said it once and I will say again, BESTPORKCHOPEVER! This Pork Chop would change a Vegetarian in two seconds, its that good!!! Asparagus-thick and nicely roasted with salt and pepper. Mash potatoes-creamy and dreamy that’s all I can say. Bread-Crusty devil its should be called. So insane!!! Birthday«comp» dessert praline cheesecake-creamy, with rich caramel and a nice crunch. Crème brule-standard and on point Truffle-Way too much chocolate… Good job Memorial city mall location, you win
