Went there on my lunch break to check it out and within the 1st5 minutes, I knew I had to bring my wife and daughter back. Will was more than helpful in helping us pick out our«wants». Infact, the ENTIRE staff was soo helpful and super nice!!! We will definitely be coming back! !! :) selection is beyond amazing and pricing super affordable.

I love this place. I like it better than Buffalo Exchange. Less crowded, more organized and a much larger selection of cool t-shirts and jeans. Pluses: Selection Prices Racks are not jammed in too tight with clothes or too close together on the floor They keep it clean and picked up Cons: Parking(but you can usually find a spot down in front of the laundromat) I love finding a pair of jeans that fit and are already broken in and are less than $ 20. I found a pair of red tag Levi’s for $ 10! They have some new stuff too… so don’t think it’s all used clothing. My goddaughter and I shopped here for more than an hour. Give yourself some time and just poke around. You don’t know what you’ll find. I like that they have a HUGE selection in most every size. The goddaughter is a size 2… I am not. And we both found several things that fit and we liked. Depending on the season you can find some wonderful jackets for $ 25 or less. Shorts are $ 15 or less. And they even have some nice evening wear. They have business attire for women. You just have to look around and find stuff. The little vintage shop upfront is cool to pop into as well. Check out the great selection of vintage t-shirts up high on the wall. makes me wish I had kept a few more of my concert tees from the 70s and 80s. I didn’t get into 2nd hand store shopping until late but I can certainly get new pieces for my limited and kinda boring wardrobe here every time I go in and NOT spend a fortune. Next step — sell them some of my stuff.

Biggest selection of ugly Christmas sweaters in town! This place is super cute. Crazy fun shoes and interesting scarves. There’s tons of clothes for both men and women. It’s large and the staff was helpful and friendly to me. The hours were good too. They stayed open later than most thrifts in the area, that was great for me!

Best place to find vintage(used) Christmas sweaters. I think the prices are a little to high for used sweaters but I found some for cheap and they do the trick.

I didn’t particularly enjoy the atmosphere of Pavement, the music was L-O-U-D. So loud that I couldn’t hear my friend who was walking right next to me in the store. We kept seeing the same shirts over and shoes over and over like a department store dropped off unsold merchandise at Pavement that wouldn’t sell for them. On one hand you can say, «This is great, I’ll be able to find that shirt in my size, no problem!» or you can look at the other hand(the one I look at) and say, «Wow, this blows because these items aren’t unique». I likely won’t be stopping in again.

I wasn’t really impressed by the selection(it seemed like everything was flannel and jeans) and everything was skinny/slim-fit/not-even-close-to-my-size. Meh.

This place is like a hidden gem of used clothes! I came in here with my bf and we saw a sign that they sold tacky Christmas sweaters. Since it was after Christmas they had a sale of buy one, get the next half off. There were soooo many cute tacky sweaters to choose from! It wasn’t a disorganized pile of sweaters. Everything was on racks and organized by size so it was easy to sort through. We left with 4 tacky sweaters… ready to be worn for next year! Pricing was also very reasonable(ranged from $ 10-$ 25). They also sold other clothes for both men and women, jewelry, hats, and even shoes. The entire store was well kept and neat. I would’ve totally checked the other sections out too but I was a bit caught up in the Christmas section. BUT beware… some of the sweaters had holes in them… so some of the clothes aren’t gently used! Parking in the area is a bit tough too especially if it’s a busy day. It’s all street parking, they don’t have a lot so be ready to parallel park!

Oh God, I love this place. Easily one of the best thrift stores in Houston. Here’s why I am a huge fan. They have: 1.) A unique clothing selection. 2.) Nondouchebag employees which is rare in Montrose. 3.) Reminds me of Urban Outfitters. 4.) Inexpensive! Cheaper than a lot of the other thrift stores around the area.

Without a doubt, one of the best places to sell your unique clothing items. I got the best deal there out of any of the resale shops I hit in the Montrose area(and beyond). They give 50% retail in cash, and even more for store credit(which I highly recommend for their awesome selection)! The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and made suggestions for where else I could take the rejected clothes to get the best deals. For shopping, you really can’t beat it if you’re looking for some one-of-a-kind items, especially from the 60s-80s. And their sister store, Leopard Lounge, takes Pavement’s store credit in payment as well! Bonus!

What a shitty clothing store. The only thing nastier than the clothes is the people working there.

I love this place! Every time I’ve visited I’ve never failed to find something I genuinely love. Great place to find high-waisted shorts at a cheap price and adorable skirts and dresses. Big sections for women and men which is great! Employees are usually very friendly and don’t have a problem answering your questions. Also, they often have 5 dollar sidewalk sales which are freaking awesome.

I had my first visit to Pavement over the weekend. The music is super loud, especially by the shoes. I really appreciate that it was neat and the clothing were organized. The prices are reasonable and I scored an amazing find. This will be added to my favorite little shops in Houston.

I like Pavement a lot. When I have sold clothes I have made more money selling them to Pavement(formerly Taxi Taxi) than to Buffalo Exchange. Leopard Lounge is now inside of Pavement Clothing. I like the store within the store concept and that they are very different stylistically. Leopard Lounge is true vintage whereas Pavement has some new and some used.
