I accidentally popped into this spot and had a wonderful dessert! My favorite ones by far are the wedding cake and lavender flavor. I also had a bit of gelato, and have to admit that it was too creamy and yummy! Never thought I would ever eat my ice-cream so fast!

Like I mentioned before in another review, ice-cream makes my world go round’. This gelato place was in my neighborhood, and close to where I was running errands. So we decided to go in. I got the cheesecake flavor, and the pistachio flavor. They were both pretty good, creamy, and subtle. Not too sweet. The location was meh. Nothing exciting on the inside, or quirky. Just your average ice-cream place with nothing too memorable. We sat outside and just about every table had old sticky ice-cream on it. So I give it a 3 for cleanliness because i’m big on that. But overall, the food would be rated 4 stores on taste.

Paciugo Gelato & Caffè was something I always wanted to visit, but never had time for that. I am a big eater of gelato, which is extremely creamy and flavorful here! By the way, they offer a great selection of flavors, so you’ll have a lot what to choose from! I got their chocolate chip hazelnut, and I cannot describe how great it was. Definitely worth to try! I wish their gelato was a little sweeter, but my general impression is fine. Their atmosphere is also ok, and the place is pretty clean and pretty. I will come back to satisfy my sweet tooth!

We thought $ 4.50 for a small cup of gelato is a bit over-priced. They did give a generous amount in a small cup, so I appreciated that… But they only let you have one flavor! What?!? My friends got a cup of salted caramel… And oh my… It was way too sweet to even swallow. We couldn’t even tell what flavor it was anymore because the sweetness overpowered everything. My husband and I got a cup of pistachio and that wasn’t too sweet… But as I took a second spoonful, I found something sharp and hard in my mouth. I spat it out and found a piece of plastic! We went up to the counter and the worker took the current batch of pistachio gelato and brought out another batch, but it was way too hard to serve because it was stored in the freezer. He offered to give us another flavor in addition to the hard pistachio gelato. We picked toasted coconut. We ended up getting a new small cup, and they were able to give us 2 flavors in the end… The weather was nice, so we sat outside… But the table was way too wobbly and sticky. Anyhow, even though they were nice enough to give us a new cup of gelato, overall experience wad disappointing and I would probably not go back again.

SOOO many great flavors of gelato and sorbet to choose from, SOOO overwhelming for indecisive people(like me), but they let you sample as many flavors as you like, and the worker does it with a smile and great attitude, definitely a five star experience. After sampling what seemed like the entire store, we settled on the chocolate mocha swirl gelato and the mango sorbet. Love the intensity of the coffee flavor in the gelato and the mango sorbet was light and refreshing. We were told that the Texas pecan sea salt caramel was the most popular, and that one was very good as well(on the sweet end), but when it comes to dessert, I tend to gravitate towards anything coffee or tea flavored, or floral flavors. I was more than a little bummed that they didn’t carry rose or lavender gelato, pictures I had been drooling over from other Unilocalers, but the worker assured me that they change flavors every month, so hopefully those floral ones will come back! Also, if you’re not on the run and just trying to pick up a little treat for yourself, or on a first date where you might look awkward trying to eat out of a Styrofoam box, I recommend getting the to-go packs because you get a lot more for you money’s worth. It also means that you get to enjoy delicious gelato in pjs in the comfort of your own home at any time of the day. Awesome!

Nicely decorated and friendly staff! All of the flavors are absolutely delicious, but tiramisu and sea sat caramel are out of this world. The texture is velvety and creamy and pairs nicely with a waffle cone. I will definitely be returning every chance I get :-)

I really enjoyed their dark chocolate gelato. I came here on a Saturday night with friends, and they were doing a nice business. I probably should’ve tried some other flavors, but once I laid eyes on the dark chocolate, I knew no other could compare. Their dark chocolate is truly dark and decadent, which I really appreciated. Nothing is ever QUITE dark enough for me, but I am one of those who likes the 85% dark chocolate(and let’s be real, I can even eat the baking dark chocolate as well). I would definitely recommend this place and come back. The prices are a bit steep if I recall, but it is gelato and it is worth it. Also — if you want a smaller portion, feel free to ask for the kid’s size, which is what I did. They didn’t have it out, but I thought that was the perfect portion for me.

Randomly decided to pop into this place one day after lunch just to try it out. We got to try a lot of flavors but my favorite was the lavender and the wedding cake. The gelato was very creamy! Normally I have a hard time trying to finish my ice cream, but not here! I finished it real quick

If you want gelato, you should go to Paciugo. To me is the best place where you can find authentic Italian gelato in Houston. Of course gelato in Italy tastes way better but Paciugo makes it very close. The gelato doesn’t contain clumps and it is very creamy and soft. The best taste they have is hazelnut and the best thing you can get is the Coffee Affogato. I love it so much, especially at the end, when the gelato dissolves in the coffee and you drink the magic combination. There is plenty of parking space outside since there is a Kroger next to it. If I’m in the area, I always go to Paciugo and then to Kroger for few stuff. Also, if I go to Kroger for groceries I cannot leave the area before taking few scoops of gelato. Basically whatever is combination, it is always good as long as you stop at Paciugo. The place is a little small and the area outside is not very cured. It looks like they just throw few table and chair outside. I would improve it by putting few plants and some music. Overall, gelato in Paciugo is awesome but a better patio area would help to enjoy it even more.

Place is awesome. They have many flavored of gelato and they give you a pretty good amount for not that much of a price at all. Chairs on the inside and outside to where you can just sit back and relax on a good day, I especially of the weather is good out. To all the time. Go-To spot when in the area.

Paciugo has a large selection of gelato and coffee beverages. At the time I visited, they had many holiday beverages. But. The gelato here is strikingly sweet. I had a difficult time in finishing the small cup of gelato I ordered. The flavour was there, but the sweetness was just too much for me and my family. I used to frequent Paciugo many years back when they were in Sugar Land. I feel as if the flavour was better at that location. Too bad they closed down. But on the bright side, their are a few other places in Houston that make a light tasting gelato without dumping in too much sugar to please the American palate. If this is your type of place. then go ahead and indulge. The caffe was quite busy when I visited at night and the plaza is a popular spot among families and young people. The servers were friendly and I appreciated their service but I wont be frequenting anytime soon.

There used to be a Paciugo’s in the food court of the Willowbrook Mall years ago but it’s been replaced by many failed fast food chains. I was an upset pubescent girl, man. Now years later, I found this place when I was driving by the area and I wanted to try it out again! It flavors weren’t so bad, it’s been the same as before but since I got older my taste bud changed so I wasn’t into it anymore, I’ve moved on(lol.) But I keep my love for this gelato chain.

Yummy! Tried a few of their flavors and surprisingly enjoyed most of them. Went with a cup of the sea salt caramel and it was delicious! Not much seating inside but there are also tables outside when the weather is nice!

Look no further if you are searching for Italian gelato, because Paciugo is it! This place has one of the most impressive gelato lineup in terms of choices that I have ever seen especially in Houston, so you are bound to find your favorite preference here. Ranging from the sweet«traditional» flavors like tiramisu to the unique fruit flavors like wildberries, the lineup has to be at least twenty-plus flavors for you to choose. No matter which one you choose though, you can guarantee to a rich experience!(No pun intended but you know what I mean) Although a single-scoop portion is a pricey $ 4.20, each scoop is Texas-sized! I got the hazelnut gelato and was surprised not only by how rich it was but also by a decent amount of nuts in there. This may be Houston’s best gelato shop and I definitely will make this my #1 gelato stop!

Best gelato in Houston — I haven’t tried any of their coffee or drinks yet, but I’m sure I wouldn’t be disappointed. The staff is very friendly and didn’t seem annoyed at all when I was eager to taste about seven different flavors! I got the dark chocolate and salted caramel and was surprised at how good it is. The price isn’t cheap, but that’s what you get for gelato. It was a little over $ 6 for a double-scoop in a large cone, which really isn’t too bad! Will definitely be back for a coffee and more gelato — Not sure if I’ll venture flavors because these were just so good! I also want to try a shake next time I’m in!

I came here thinking that there would be an inviting coffeeshop atmosphere; in reality, it felt like a generic ice cream /froyo parlor and is catered more towards gelato and smoothie drinks than coffee. The americano was average — but a bit too bitter for my preference. The rum raisin also left much to be desired. The employee sneezed whole preparing my order, which turned me off. In total, my order was a little less than $ 7. For mediocre coffee and subpar gelato, this place is pretty overpriced. The flavors aren’t totally unique, and I’m not sure I would return to try their smoothies. The one advantage is the location: the shop is located in the River Oaks area, which is extremely nice and well kept.

Italian ice cream is very hard to get right in Houston. If you have ever been to italy I assure it is 10 times better than the best place in Houston. When you find yourself craving this delicious frosty treat, Houston has some decent choices. This particular place is not at the top of my list but it certainly has good choices. They have various choices, inside and outdoor seating, and good customer service. The prices are typical and the selections are average. There is no bad tasting gelato here. I ordered the hazelnut, passion fruit, and tiramusu. They were all equally good!

Best gelato option in the West U, Rice area. They allow you two flavors, very clean inside, and tons of flavors to choose from. Employees are friendly. I personally enjoy the nutella, pistachio almond, and coconut varieties. Don’t forget about their gelato shakes and coffee drinks.

Paciugo has got to be one of my new favorite places for Gelato in Houston! Fluffy, soft, a great assortment of diverse flavors, I was quite impressed with this little gem. Green Tea — My favorite of the trifecta I ordered. Green tea is always a must for ice cream/gelato flavors for me; there’s no negotiation. Tiramisu — Loved it, but actually a bit disappointed, as it tasted straight like Jack Honey! The kid did warn me though, so I can’t say much. I can happily get drunk off of this. Hehe Caramel — Extremely sweet. Maybe a little too sweet, but amazing regardless. I’m excited to come back and try some of the other flavors they have to offer.

The flavours didn’t really impress me. I tried the ‘three vanillas’, mango passionfruit, and tiramisu. I ended up with a small cup of the sea salt caramel. The small cup is a one scoop but it’s big enough in size. My sis had the tiramisu and it was more rum-y tasting and bitter. I did like the fact that it came with a nice chunk of ladyfinger. My bro had the peanut butter and the black berry swirl. Of the two, the black berry swirl was a winner. Def just the right sweetness. Anyway, I think it would satisfy your gelato cravings, but it isn’t the most impressive gelato in the area.
