This place has no customer service… Called to order lunch and she was not paying attention. took forever to put in an order and she did not get it the first nor second time. After repeating my order time after time. She still could not repeat my order back to me. Never asked for delivery address. So I cancelled my order! Never calling this place!!!

Great food, bad service. I have a large family, 6 people to be exact. None of us wanted to drive to get food so we decided to order delivery. I had a craving for fried rice so I decided to order Chinese food. I have ordered here before when it was just my sister and I, so I decided to order here again. BIGMISTAKE! The food arrived 30 minutes later, which is actually pretty good. The problem was the amount of rice. We ordered 5 combos that come with rice, a big thing of combination fried rice, and combination lo mein. Instead of 5 small containers, they gave us 2 large and 1 small. We called them about it and they said, «we figured you wouldn’t want 5 small containers so we gave you 2 large and 1 small.» I would have been fine with that if the small containers were half the size, or less, of the large containers. The small containers were like 2⁄3 the size of the large containers so we felt cheated. We told them that, and you know what they told us? They told us, «you ordered a lot of rice so…» The nerve of them! I know we ordered a lot of rice, but you don’t get to tell me what is and isn’t too much food. We told them«well we paid for the food so…» They then said, «we will bring you a large container and a small container of fried rice.» They never showed up! It wasn’t the worst service I have received but it’s up there. It wasn’t all bad though. The food was hot and delicious; that’s the only reason I’m giving this two stars instead of one. It kind of sucks that the service was bad because the food was good and filling.

Ordered early for delivery at 12noon, in training at a new job, specifically stated 12noon delivery. I was called out by my supvr on a chinese food delivery at 11:30. I felt as though i completely disregarded the trainer“s time. She was strictly opposed to it i could tell, but i had all the confidence in my food order delivery. Nope, didn“t happen. Also, placed order for 4 people, they were all so disappointed. We ordrered Sweet and Sour Chicken entrée only available slightly over 10.00 General’s chicken little over 9.00 on the lunch menu Shrimp low mein over 9.00 very little shrimp and hardly any flavor said the person Fried Shrimp tempura and fries 8.00 Most chinese restaurants offer lunch menus during these hours, it just seemed like very little food for a whole lotta of money.

If I could give negative star I would!!! Ordered delivery through GrubHub. Came on time, reviewed the ticket, signed, giving a 20% tip, but when we opened bag, the order was WRONG. Our rice and soups were missing, we got a completely different appetizer than ordered. I called the restaurant and told them my order was incorrect and asked how long until I could get my missing items– the response, «uhhhhhhh.» Then I said, «well, ok… Can I get a credit for the missing items?» Again, the response, «uhhhhhhh.» Needless to say, I had to call GrubHub, explained the situation, asked for a refund, and still had to wait, so the driver could come back to pick up the screwy order(so I guess the could verify I wasn’t lying???). Luckily my husband was home. He sat on hold, waited for the order to get picked back up, etc. I. The meantime, I drove to mcd’s & picked up dinner for the kids… Pretty sad experience… By the way, I’m still waiting to see the credit appear on my bank account.

I’m not one to post reviews. I’m at a competitor place right now, & I’m not satisfied w/the price. The people are nice here. The food is cheap & you get a soup, egg roll & meal all for $ 10. The food portion is smaller, but not so small where you feel cheated. I always pick up, even though I’m right down the street, just because I don’t like waiting on people. I’ll never go to a competitor again…

This review is about their delivery, not in-store service. Food arrived two hours and five minutes after ordering. The order was messed up.(Asked for veggie dumplings and got meat.) See YA later. Not happening again.

Used to be a restaurant called«Wok and Roll» which was good and had really good general Tso’s chicken, and awesome kung pao tofu. Fast forward to the present day, likely after changing ownership we have Orient Express the ubiquitous name belies the terrible quality of the food. We ordered from them once, and the food was awful, gone was the white meat chicken, all mystery meat and tasted awful(rancid?). Gone were the good sized shrimp, the shrimp received wouldn’t be suitable as bait for fishing again they tasted off. Fried rice was just garbage(usually the real test of a Chinese place), and the soups were pitiful broth with a couple pieces of stringy bamboo shoots floating around neither hot nor sour — but just plain pitiful. Granted the person answering the phone was nicer than the previous iteration but that’s about the only positive thing I have to say about this place. Oh and the prices are also higher, so really why bother? There are far better places to eat Chinese, don’t make the same mistake we did.

New to Houston, was looking for some decent Chinese food as I move into my place. This place had some great reviews between a few online sites. SODISAPPOINTED. I ordered the General Tso’s combo with came with a soup and appetizer of choice, so Wonton Soup and Eggroll were my choices. The Wonton Soup was bland, and the wonton itself was undercooked and just tasted like dough. The Eggroll was also under cooked in the middle and lacking anything on the inside, just maybe a spec of carrot or two. The chicken has a good sauce on the outside but was very rubbery and fake feeling. Fried rice needed some doctoring but was edible. Was worth the try but will not be returning.

A hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant that just opened. It is clean, new and located on Fountain View Dr, just north of Westpark and south of Richmond Ave. They only have one table so this is a pickup/delivery place. I had the Shrimp and vegetables lunch combo with tax was $ 9.20. They have great containers… plastic with snap on lids. You get the entrée, an overflowing helping of rice, spring roll(or crab puff) and a soup that also comes in a good size snap-lid plastic bowl. The food was all excellent. The sauce on the entrée was a little thick for my preference as I couldn’t taste the large shrimp, but that is just me. The fried rice was just the right amount of greasy(not dry) that I like. Spring roll was a spring roll. The hot and sour soup was excellent.

I have to say this place is hit or miss. I only order shrimp fried rice, gen tso chick and crab puffs and they are wonderful every time, biggest juiciest shrimp you could hope for, coming from a greasy spoon hole in the wall, that never claimed to be fine dining. however my mom orders shrimp in lobster sauce and she hated it. OHWELL! i will make my 30, or 35th order from this place here soon. i love it. TOOBAD they dont carry genuine table mustard, my only complaint.

Ordered delivery for lunch. A lady answers the phone. Nice? Far from it. She sounded like the soup nazi on Seinfeld. «What do you want? Fried rice? What else? Anything else? How pay-cash or credit card? Have card ready when food arrives. Goodbye.» No «thank you», nothing. Just plain ‘ol crappy customer service. I ordered the General Tso’s chicken with fried rice and wonton soup. My friend wanted Orange Beef. «no Orange Beef, only Orange chicken for dinner.» Ok, how about Shrimp with lobster sauce. «No, only for dinner.» Gee whiz. The menu has these items under the Lunch Specials section! Got my food. Delivery driver was very nice. The fried rice lacked the bits of egg, veggies that are usually put in fried rice. Gen Tso’s had WAY too much dark sauce. The chicken was swimming in the goop. I do have to give them credit for using all white chicken, which many restaurants don’t do. Egg roll was crispy, but a little gritty. What was in this thing? The wonton soup was hot, but I do wish they wouldn’t put just one huge wonton in there. Would I order from there again? Nope. Wasn’t worth $ 8.

This place is now called HELLO! It is delicious and cheap. The lady can be a bit rude sometimes and very nice on others. I order here quite ofter and food is best in area. The place is a hole in the wall and really good for delivery as there is no where to eat.

So… me and my girls found the flyer to this place in our office. We decided to order in today for lunch and I should have realized this place would have been problems from the start. First, one of the ladies that works with me, decided to call-in the order to have it ready so when the last girl scheduled to come in could pick it up on the way. BADIDEA! When my coworker called, she made one order and was hung up on, the restaurant had no information, no payment, nothing. When she called back she was told that the delivery man was on his way… to where ?! she hadn’t provided any info. So she decided to go there and order since we had 5 orders and 5 different payment methods. After hearing about the chaos and lack of organization this place had, the girls finally make it back. I ordered the kung pao bean curd, and to call it mediocre is a compliment. It was not seasoned, NOR spicy. The VEGGIE egg roll that I had a choice of receiving with my meal had meat in it…(not great considering i am a vegetarian) and my egg drop soup was thick, and had hardly an egg. I was pleased with the fortune cookie though. if that says anything. I will never go back to this place again. and will not recommend anyone else go.
