I’ve ordered here before and was satisfied. The delivery time was great. However, this time I was a bit disappointed in the food. I ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls and the lo mein. The egg rolls were burned and the lo mein was mediocre. I won’t be ordering these dishes anymore.

I’m sitting here thinking of something to say… and I’m getting nothing. That’s how forgettable this food was. I ordered tofu Pad Thai takeout. Not sure what I ate, but it was more like spicy noodles with bean sprouts. I didn’t taste any peanut flavor. I will say, the tofu took on the flavor of the Pad Thai pretty well. Delivery took over an hour. I most definitely will not be back.

I got there around 745 on a Sunday night, and it was expected quiet. There was one woman at the bar, with a takeout bag talking loudly on her cell. Beyond that, it was just me and 3 young workers. I was told to sit wherever I liked, and given a menu a few minutes later. I ordered the pan fried potstickers, broccoli beef, and BBQ pork fried rice. The potstickers were tasty, and the accompanying ginger and soy based sauce was delicious. The pork stuffing was good, mostly meat with some veg and spicing added. Most likely frozen and brought it, but tasty nonetheless. Broccoli Beef and the fried rice appeared, with stramed rice. The beef was tasty, the broccoli and carrot crisp. Not overly sauced, but enough to make the rice tasty. I had thought I’d ordered BBQ pork, but that’s not arrived. It was just a pan cooked pork, no BBQ flavor. I had repeated the order when my server came back to double check. Tasty, with bean sprouts and egg. Not too greasy, or salty from the soy. Overall, solid service, my water wasn’t empty for long. Nothing wowed me though. It’s good solid Americanized Chinese, with big portions. I’ll get 3 solid meals out of this dinner.

This place is just not a good value if you’re trying to be healthy. I came here for lunch with a co-worker, and they did not offer any lunch special with the steamed chicken and vegetables. So I ended up paying a few pennies short of $ 13.00 for some steamed chicken and vegetables for lunch. They wanted an extra dollar for brown rice, so I just decided to skip that. Luckily, it was enough to break into two meals(as is the case with almost all Chinese food portions), but it was pretty meh tasting overall as well. Some of the pieces of chicken were stuck together and stringy and most of the broccoli was still too hard for me. I try to reserve my 1s for a place I would refuse to go back to, so while I wouldn’t outright refuse to come back here, I would try to steer any future lunch buddy to another location.

pretty good place for ordering delivery or to go. this place honestly has a very interesting taste of the same dish every time you try, and i dont mean that in a good way ! I used to come to this place regularly, and get their Chicken fried rice. but sadly one of my vistits i had EGGSHELF in my fried rice which made me throw up when i went home. i hope their cooks pay attention to what theyre doing.

Ordered pickup from here for lunch today, had a banh mi and a couple of crab puffs. My first time eating their food, and my last. Unfortunately I didn’t realize they had restaurant violations until I looked on Unilocal at a recent review and then to verify. My stomach is very upset right now and it’s been that way for about 5hrs now. I ate around 2pm; It’s now 10pm. As far as the food quality: my banh mi hardly had any meat, cilantro or jalapeños. The pork was drenched in a BBQ Asian sauce, served on bollio bread. And if you know the type of bread I’m referring to then understand the inside of my sandwich was heavily lacking the«guts». The crab puffs: as soon as i took the first bite tasted like something that you would consume at a carnival. Heavily fried. I know crab puffs are fried, but it just didn’t taste like a restaurant style crab puff. Really wish I would’ve liked this place because the minimum for delivery is $ 15, and they are right down the street. You could give this place a chance, just eat at your own risk.

Their bun thit nuong or «braised pork vermicelli» is not authentic. Meat is overly sauced with soy sauce and noodles and hard. I am writing this review to remind myself to never order this again. Waste of money and calories, and I am so sad with my lunch.

Soups are amazing. Especially for winter time. Steamed veg dumplings are delicious along with the sauce that accompanies it. Super fast delivery.

I’m certainly glad that I didn’t ignore their flyer and just toss it in the rubbish bin, like so many countless before, because it was the best Chinese that I’ve had in ages. Just to sum up my experience in a short rant — the eggdrop soup actually had delicious, pulpy chunks of yolk to enjoy instead of the usual powdered slop. The orange beef, gen. Tso’s chicken and pan fried dumplings were all just crispy enough on the outside and crazy yummy. The chicken was generous portions of breast meat to boot. The cream cheese puffs were amazing, and the the best I’ve ever had, and I usually judje a place by how much love they put into them. We devoured everything as slowly as possible to savor every bite, and mourned its passing with full tummies. The prices are very reasonable and they have free delivery over $ 15. We can’t wait to try more — so far so awesome.

Yay!!! Going to pick up this delicious food. They’re open late so it’s super convenient and it’ll take like 15 minutes to make. So excitedly! Their dinner specials are super affordable and it comes with an entrée, soup, crab puff and egg roll! I usually double the crab puffs and skip the egg roll. About $ 10 a meal give or take.

I haven’t eaten here and I won’t ever. I can only assume they put as much care into their food as they do their marketing.

I had to review this place again because their salads are PHENOMENAL! My co worker and I are addicted. We receive the best service when we place the order(although we have to repeat a couple of things since their english is not perfect) and delivery guy is so sweet. They always send the same guy, and he always is so happy to see me LOL! The chicken salad with fish sauce is AMAZING! It is chargrilled, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. Refreshing for this time of the year and flavorful. I started watching what I eat, so this is definitely my go to place when I do not prep my lunch.

Stopped for lunch to have something light. Ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls and they came out quick. The rice paper was a bit chewy meaning the were not made fresh and the also lacked good quality ingredients such basil and cilantro. They also used shredded iceberg lettuce. They went the low cost route. Next had the pan fried potstickers. Had to be frozen product and were plain. Moving on from this place if you can’t get the simplistic things executed

This is the best Chinese take-out I have ever had. They get the standards right and I can’t get enough of it. I’ve only ordered delivery since I started eating here, so I will not comment on the way the restaurant looks on the inside. They have a great selection on menu items, from Sesame Chicken to Lo Mein. The Sesame Chicken is especially good, because the breading is very light, but doesn’t get soggy from the sauce, which is so good I put it on everything. The Special and Pork Lo Meins were great, but the Roasted BBQ Pork Lo Mein was dry, but otherwise their Lo Mein is very delicious. The crab puff appetizers are also great if you are looking for a starter. They are more cream cheese than crab but the flavors are great. Egg rolls are typical and not something I would order again. They just don’t meet the standard for their other items. Delivery is quick and they take credit and debit cards, but I have had instances where the card reader didn’t work, so the drive had to write down my card information, which personally sketches me out. However, the drivers are very courteous. If you live near Café 121, you should give it a try.

My boyfriend and I love this place. We tried it randomly the first week we moved to our new place in the area and now we are hooked! I doubt we will order anywhere else. I get the crab puffs and sesame chicken and my boyfriend gets some sort of noodles. All items are exceptional. The only thing we have tried that we weren’t a fan of were their egg rolls. Not sure why, but I just don’t think they taste that great. As far as the atmosphere of the restaurant, it is pretty big and has ample seating available. I think more people pick it up or have it delivered because they are always busy preparing to go orders.

New to the area and needed something for lunch besides Jason’s deli. Ordered gen tso’s chicken(I think I spelled this right) from lunch special. Everything was fresh and the portion left me full. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a new place to frequent. The only potentially negative to occur was: lunch time and they had no hot and sour soup. This is the only soup I eat. I will however make plans to return.

There hasn’t been one thing on the menu that I’ve ordered that I didn’t enjoy! My office orders from here quite often and the delivery is always on time, the food is fresh and hot, and most importantly — decadent. A few months ago, I was in love with the Avocado Shrimp in Garlic Sauce and I would order it every time we placed an order. Then it was the Filet Mignon, Flame-Broiled Chunks and now it’s the Chicken Lettuce Wraps… although I’ve cheated a few times and gone back to the Filet Mignon. The prices are very affordable — especially for lunch time — and the couple of times that there were mishaps with our order, they either offered for the driver to bring back the corrected order or to give us a discount on our next order. You won’t be disappointed!

My coworker and I were hesitant on ordering from this place due to the negative reviews. But we finally took a chance after the 3rd time contemplating it due to our hunger. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken Dinner Special and my coworker, the Fried Rice from the Kids Menu. The delivery was quicker than expected(approx. 10mins). The food was far from what the previous reviews claimed to be. It was delicious and filling! My only complaint is the the rude, short tempered woman who answers the phone. Lighten up a bit. But the satisfaction from the food out weighted this. With this I say, don’t let the negative reviews turn you away. Café 121 was definitely worth trying!

I’ve ordered carry out from this restaurant close to a dozen times. One would think that would build some sort of admiration from management, especially when something goes wrong. Tonight was my first«train wreck», and based on «The Managers» handling of this situation, let’s everyone device for themselves. Capise? :) Ordered the«larger portion» of Mongolian chicken. This order is considered the Chefs Selection(whatever that means), and is $ 16.95 vs the«dinner special» of $ 9.95. The picture I’m attaching says it all. And for the record, this is the very first time ever trashed a pic to validate the carnage of the train wreck(smirk). In an effort to give them the opportunity to correct this problem… I called and informed them I received the kiddie menu portion vs the CS. Tell the lady, she passes me till a man. Share issue with this manager and he passes me to the«monkey behind the curtain»(the manager). Soooooo(exhaustive tone), I press for the finish line and share yet one more time, this time to the manager the story…(exhausting)…and he says… and I quote«I need to go ask the cook how much food they put in there». Huh? Mister Magoo, I’ll save you the time. Here’s a pic. That item on the left that fills up the lid, well THAT is a tray the size of Texas full of onions. Two shrimp and 2lbs of onion nonsense. Very possibly you accidentally gave me the onion special.

My husband and I love Café 121. We’ve been ordering from here for a good 2 years, and even though we’ve moved out of their delivery range we still make the drive to pick it up. I’ve tried several other Chinese restaurants in the area, and they all fall short of what Café 121 offers. The people who take our order on the phone are always friendly, and unlike some other restaurants are easy to understand. They have decent lunch and dinner specials which include an egg roll and soup, so for $ 8 – 10 that’s nothing to sneeze at! They advertise all white-meat chicken in their dishes, and no MSG, both of which I think add to their tastiness. I’ve had their Chicken and vegetables, Mongolian Beef, General Tso’s, Spring Rolls, Crab puffs, Beef and Broccoli, egg drop soup and hot and sour soup, and I’ve yet to find something that I don’t like. They usually include extra egg rolls and crab puffs if you order a batch, which always makes for a pleasant surprise. Good flavor, fast service(even when ordering to-go or delivery), friendly people, and delicious Chinese food mean that I’ll continue to come here until I’ve moved an unrealistic distance away. Keep up the good work!
