I haven’t been to Njoi’s in a while, but the one thing I would always get is their Vietnamese coffee(I totally recommend!). They also serve the usual milk teas and smoothies. I have tried their milk teas before, but it’s nothing special. But they have this really unique topping that I haven’t seen in any other tapioca stores around Chinatown, taro pudding. Definitely go check out Njoi if you’re in the area.

They have the best milk tea here. Silky and thick and just the right amount of sweet! I normally get the usual miles tea with tapioca and egg pudding. Their taro smoothie is good too very creamy made from real taro.

I just come here for the Vietnamese coffee. Everything else sucks to me. The girls that work there tried me to charge extra, more than once.

Although i love their tea and smoothie. I do not recommend their egg pudding. First time I tried it, the texture was rough, the flavor was weird and it made my tea taste weird.):

Njoi is honestly my favorite tapioca place in Houston. The only downside is it’s not conveniently in Chinatown and it’s cash only. One time I wanted it so bad and I forgot I didn’t have cash on me so I went to a CVS just to withdraw some money. 1. Their milk tea is so creamy and strong. I feel like milk tea is just a go to drink and you can judge a tap place by it. My biggest pet peeve is when I get milk tea from somewhere and it’s so watered down you can’t even tell that it’s tea. 2. Their pudding sinker is amazing!!! I would eat it on it’s own. 3. Last but not least it’s one of the cheapest tapioca places I’ve been to. I got 2 Large drinks with tapioca for a little over $ 7 dollars! As I’m writing this review I’m craving Njoi now.

Came here 5 minutes before closing, the workers were very kind to let my friends and I in. Ordered the peach juice with no boba. Not too sweet and delicious. They used condensed milk as sweetener. My only gripe, they used canned peaches, but for the rest of the fruit drinks they used fresh fruit. Will definitely come again.

Only been here once recently, and it definitely is on my radar for places to stop by. Really nice charm to it, but it may be nostalgia. as has it has the tables from being a internet café from a previous time. Their avocado smoothie is not bad, not loaded with sugar like most places. Though their Thai tea had way too much ice.

i like the drink out there. i usually order milk tea there. i really love it. however ladys who working at Njoi were not nice. their faces always look like angry with the customers. we come and just want to buy drink and leave but the staffs there are just impolite. they never smile with customers. they ask what we want to drink and then look at us like” can you be quick«or «what do u want just order dont stand there waste my time» we keep to be nice but ther just«poker face. NOTNICE staffs at njoy

This is my favorite tapioca shops if I cannot go to Chinatown. I’ve been coming to this location for about 5 years or so and my tapioca has always been really good. I watched them make my mango with tapioca and they used actual mangoes, not the artificial crap many popular shops use nowadays. I’ve never actually waited a long time to go tapioca, probably because it’s better to go at noon as it’s not busy. The tapioca was also not hard — rather it was chewy and soft which I liked. Whenever I come down to Bellaire, this is my top to go place.

The cashier is a bitch, I thought it was because she was having a bad day but I went again and she was still freaking rude. I’m not the only one who’s had bad service from her, when I was there I said«rude» under my breath and the lady behind me said«she’s always rude to ppl who aren’t Asian». sadly I am Asian I just don’t look it lol. Also bring cash because they don’t take cards. The sad part is that their drinks are actually good but it’s not worth having to put up with so much attitude. Oh they also don’t have much variety, like 25 drink flavors or so.(At the Wilcrest and beechnut location)

Used to live in the area in 2003 and left Houston a yr later. Now I’m back in town on vacation and the place is still around. They must be doing something right not a thing has seem to changed great smoothies and drinks. Hope it stays around a while as it has seemed to do

I get my tapioca here often. I know this place has been open for about 12 years at least. So it is one the original spots in West Houston. I also learn many Vietnamese phrases coming here which is a experience. I usually get drinks(đ ung) with no milk(không sa) Cm n. Something no one has mentioned in here is the fact that the business uses fruits instead of syrups. Little information like that can differ a customer’s review.

Creamy? No Foamy? No Water? Yes Lol being a milk tea lover I can definitely say this is one of the worst I’ve tried. Taste like water, not sweet, non creamy, doesn’t have a strong tea auroma or taste. Tapioca is super soft and soggy. Don’t even know what this is. Waste of money

Best Avocado, Taro smoothie with Boba in town. The milk tea and Thai tea are good also. But no one in Htown can compete with their Avocado and Taro smoothie. I live near Katy Mills, but Im willing to drive to Chinatown to fix my craving. Also i have been to Kungfu Tea, Kim’s Teahouse, The Teahouse. I must say Njoi is much better.

I’ve only tried two drinks at Njoi: Some coconut milk with abunch of sinkers(sweet, sort of like che basically) because thats what my mom always brought home growing up. The second is the avocado. I have no idea how they get it so rich and creamy w/out ice cream. But if you want avocado this is definitely the place to get it from. Also their tapioca is always consistent which is a plus!

The drinks are better at boba zone. This is my first time here to pick up a smoothie for my office and the service is rude and unorganized. The price on the wall is a different price that they charge you. They claim that it is their old price. Also they wait until the owner or the owners family comes in and they start to act like they are giving good service to the customers. This place is horrible and I will definitely let my office and friends know about my experience today

Not everything is good here but their vietnamese milk coffee is really standout. I like it more than Lee’s sandwiches. Avocado smoothie is my second choice. Milk tea is not recommended though. Too creamy and not sweet enough.

My mom usually buys the avocado milk shake from here. It’s pretty good and they use fresh fruits! It satisfies my craving for boba without driving to Chinatown for a drink. I highly recommend their milk tea with boba. Their boba is chewy and not too sweet; just the way I like it! Cash only and bring your stamp card :)

*cash only* Hands down to the best café sua da. Aka Vietnamese iced coffee! It’s not the typical black coffee & condense milk flavor. It’s something unique & tasty at Njoi. It’s like crack! And it sure does keep you up! Njoi has been around for the longest. I had to pick up some coffee, & there was already a lime @ 8:30 am! Lol I guess everyone wanted some crack-coffee. Smoothies are all made with fresh fruit!
