Newton John Piano Tuning Service

Well I am driven to write this review as a counter to the one and only previous post. I had somewhat of the same call experience but wasn’t offended. John is a premier tuner and is by far the most sought after and experienced professional that I have ever used.
He is a 3^rd generation piano craftsman and has worked for and still does, musicians of the highest caliber. He is in his 70’s but you’d never know it. Phenomenal work and fair price. John can do it all when it comes to pianos. You won’t be sorry. He is super personable in person and may not have been able to hear clearly on the phone in either case.

wow. I’ve never encounter someone so rude on the phone in my life for no good reason.
I wanted to have my parent’s piano tuned and I call this company and tell them they live in this particular area, do you guys go there… and his reply was insane:
«I DON’T UNDERSTAND! WHY DON’T YOUR PARENTS CALL ME? WHO’S GONNA PAY ME? I NEED TO KNOW THE ADDRESS!»
err I would imagine the next step after I talked would be to tell me potential appointment dates or ask for the actual address if he needed to plug it in google maps to agree to it. Obviously if he’s going over there someone is going to pay him. I really didn’t expect that tone at all. My bubbly self completely shut down and I respond:
«Ok, the address is 221-​» I was interrupted by the dude saying with a very annoyed voice:
«Just have your parents call me, will you??»
There’s NO WAY I was going to give him my money.
