The best part is that the food is always hot. Other than that, there isn’t much to praise. Run of the mill Chinese food. Tends to be too salty at times. I got the worst food poisoning here, due to old pork, so be careful ordering that. There used to be a Chinese girl who worked the front counter. She was very polite. Now, there is usually a young Hispanic man working who is rude as hell. Just an average Chinese restaurant, really.

Had a great time with excellent melt-in-your-mouth fried fish filet. The portions are just right. Price is average for a top Chinese cuisine, and you get what you pay for!!! Very courteous and friendly delivery guys!

Came here today on a recommendation. The only thing hot was the soup. The sad part is I’m the only one in here. Never again. Thought getting here when they opened was a good idea. 45 minutes later I’m still here hungry. Absolutely a disappointment! Do not go here! On top of that they practicality kicked me out when I complained that the food they sent out was cold.

If you love General Tso’s Chicken, this is absolutely the best version available in Houston. I have eaten that dish all over the country, in restaurants ranging from filthy to fancy. This one takes second place, overall. Ask them to make it extra spicy, and prepare to be amazed. Other dishes are also good.

This is based solely on their fried chicken wings. To die for!!! Would give 5 stars but they are always RUNNINGOUT of items they have on the menu.

Save your money. The food here has no flavor, and the breading used for the general tso’s gives it an odd artificial flavor. Warning! The fried rice is terrible. I don’t know how anyone could screw up fried rice, but whatever they delivered was seriously f’ed up.

I have ordered from this place for years now. I always get the General Tso’s chicken and it is SOGOOOOOOOD! Their steamed rice is really good, too. My husband and I always order the lunch special portion(any time of day, but +$ 2 after lunch hours), which comes with a little less chicken(BUTSTILLALOT and enough for us to both get our fill). The lunch special is awesome cuz it comes with a soup, egg roll, and crab puffs. The dinner portion only comes with rice. It’s awesome. The chicken is so spicy(jalapeños) and the sauce is to die for. I am about to order some right now after I write this review. They are so nice and friendly and I can tell they know me by my phone number and address :-) I LOVENEWYANG!!!

Not as cheap as I anticipated, the portion wasent like you get at most places, and the flavors just were fully developed in each dish. Everything is breaded the same and tastes incredibly generic, possibly more generic than most buffets but atleast you get more food for less at the buffet. I am not satisfied with this place at all.

I ordered delivery just now and they said it would be 30 – 45 mns. It was actually way less than 30 mns for my food to arrive. I live close by but i take the fact that it was raining The guy who delivered was so friendly. My food is still hot. and its delicious. I agree with some of the other commenters this is not a place to go into to sit down and eat. I have been there before and the place smells weird. Not nasty… just weird. And i used to go to the hairstyling school next door and there was a rumored roach. As many times as ive been there i have never seen said roach. But the taste of the food is just amazing i would even go as far as to say its the best ive ever tasted. Not under or over seasoned… just right.

I have been to New yang several times and have had only minor issues. They missed my egg roll in one order and gave me chicken instead of beef another time. The food is good and is always cooked to order

I ordered delivery from here last night. It was cold and I was too tired to cook or go anywhere. There is a $ 15 dollar limit on deliveries(plus a $ 2 dollar delivery fee) so my husband and I each picked a dish plus soup and an appetizer to try and get it above the amount. It ended up being $ 30 for the whole tab. I couldn’t believe how much food it was. I didn’t even eat half of my Chicken Chow Mei Fun and my husband didn’t eat half of his Moo Shu Pork. We have ridiculous left overs now. The quality of food was good. It was like Chinese food should taste. It wasn’t too starchy or too flavored. The noodles were the perfect consistency and the egg was delicious. The fried rice was a litte weird though, I guess it’s because I’m used to fried rice having veggies or something in it, and this rice was just fried. The only thing that was lame about it was that it took 45 minutes to get here. I don’t know if it was a busy night or what, but I was so hungry that 45 minutes was a really long time to wait for food. I’ll probably still order from here again when I’m the mood for Chinese food being that it’s the closest delivery place to me.
