Neveria & Taqueria El Quijote

I had a Piña preparada and I must admit the fruit was not so fresh it taste like it went bad or it had been sitting for days and i also ordered some fajita taquitos and no flavor to the meat and it looked like and taste not cooked all the way. I would like to try other items in the menu but won’t get the same

If you want some good tasty mangonadas you’d better take your butt to Neveria & Taqueria El Quijote, they are so much better than El Paleria on Sabo.
First off, the service is equal. Yes, its Spanish owned, but I tell you what if you aren’t a native you will still be treated the same way as the natives. Its very difficult to get that type of service here in Houston. The girl taking orders was so nice, friendly, and didn’t give my sister a hard time when we couldn’t pronounce the menu items.
Secondly, they have two convient locations; one off of Long Dr., but that location it has cramped parking. Another is this one off of Griggs Rd and Garland Dr near Woodridge Dr. They are packed at both locations.
Thirdly, these mangonadas are delicious! I’m glad my sister continue to beg me to come try this place out because they were on my goodness good! A whole lot better than that place off of Sabo. The mangonadas had fresh sweet mangos in it, nothing was premade here, I asked for no chamoy and a little chili and wow that hit the spot. The nadas are $ 5.50 and you get a big tall cup of it.
I wish I would have known about this spot this summer… I will definitely come back to sample the rest of the menu items.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I’ve had a couple of their treats and the Ivanvazoo is hands down my favorite.
I can’t say much about the food though, since I’ve only had their tacos and burgers. The tacos are pretty good. The burgers are okay for the price, but I’ve had better.
The only thing I wished they had is a more detailed menu with actual prices. I know they have more items than what they show in their current menu because I’ve seen people walk out with all sorts of things, so they need to update it.
