If you are looking for not only a great selection of Modern furnishings but also a magical shopping experience — this is it. I first visited Mody & Mody last fall and have made several trips back. The showroom displays each collection very well which helps when visualizing what a room will look like and the sales staff is very helpful. Its clear the the moment that you walk in the door that this is a high end furnishing and design shop — definitely for those with discerning tastes. I think the real secret of Mody & Mody is working with Interior Designer Vaishali Mody. After working with her for 6 months now I have been constantly impressed with her creativity, originality and fearless combinations of styles that has consistently produced a fresh style that makes her stand out as one of Houston’s top designers. I’ve been very pleased with Mody & Mody and will continue to work with them and recommend them.

If you happen to have highly contemporary taste and fart one hundred dollar bills at the same time, this place is definitely for you! The showroom is well appointed with — in my humble opinion — way overpriced contemporary furniture from names I’ve never heard of. Probably because I don’t typically have the need to spend 15 grand on a loveseat shaped like a bird’s nest. The service here is nice and unintrusive — but this place clearly deals with the very high-​end not-​so-​money-​saving-​savvy rich people who so graciously keep the Galleria area alive. If your toothbrush is made from solid gold and unicorn hair bristles, then you need to check this place out.
