Mediterranean is one of favorites and I’ve had it at all around Houston… But this place is officially the best. The tabouli is perfectly fresh and much tastier than some other places, as are the dolmas and pita, etc. My mom, sister, her fiancé and I have been going around comparing Mediterranean restaurants for catering for their wedding, so we ordered a smörgåsbord everywhere we went. This place blew every other place out of the water! That’s not to say every other restaurants were bad(we thought we had already picked another for catering) but the truth is everything HERE was better. The owner(and cook) Sana is so accommodating and friendly. She wasn’t pushy at all! We stayed and talked to her and her daughter for a good hour about weddings, as her daughter is also getting married soon. I don’t know why this place isn’t packed out. It must just be the location, but Mediterranean food lovers need to know about this restaurant.

Come here all the time! Order the exact same thing every single time: gyros platter. I have a picky person in my family so they usually do not love mediterranean food, this resteraunt caters to them. Everything is made from scratch so it can fit into any diet. When you walk in it feels like your grandmother’s humble house, the food is not much different. They have pepsi products for the pepsi fans. The service is great and you can be waiting 10 – 20 minutes for food depending on how busy they are. If you are hosting a party they can give you some of their food in 1lb packs. Highly recommend it.

It was a small quaint restaurant. The food was excellent. Just like any restaurant they were better at some things than others. We had hummus and falafels for appetizers. Both were excellent. The falafels were a little bit spicy, which surprised me, but delicious. I had the Elias surprise which was great. My wife had the grilled mixed kabob with chicken, beef, and kafata. Here is how I would rate the food: 5=hummus, falafel, & Elias special 4=chicken kabob & rice 3=rice 2=beef kabob Like other revoewers have said the beef was very tough. I would definitely go back. The overall experience was excellent.

We went here for dinner tonight and it was delicious!!! I’ve driven by a number of times but finally looked at the reviews and we decided to try it. I’m so glad we did because we will be coming back regularly! We got the hummus, chicken pita, and gyro and all were very good! The place was small and quaint and a great atmosphere. And our server was excellent!!!

The food was really good! We were craving Mediterranean food and I’ve driven by this place several times but never made it in. It’s a mom and pop establishment which I love(support local businesses!) and very quaint, intimate setting. I had a lemonade and SO had an unsweet tea(he said the tea was awesome, he drank 4 glasses!) To start we had the hummus and pita bread, came with tons of pita and SO had the Greek salad that comes with his plate — also very good, the dressing tastes homemade. For the meal I wasn’t starving so I had the lentil soup. It wasn’t what I expected, but it was delicious! It’s solely lentils and onion, no other veggies and it is NOT vegetarian just an FYI — they use chicken bouillon in the broth. SO had the gyro platter with vegetables and loved the meat, I had some of his veggies and they had a subtle flavor, not strong but were very good as well! All in all, we would definitely come back!

Decided to stop here when I was visiting a friend in Houston and it has to be the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. Hands down. Belly stuffed. The atmosphere was relaxing and they had tons of pictures of Lebanon hanging on the walls. It was casual enough for a coffee and lunch but I wouldn’t think twice about going for a dressier dinner. I can’t believe how good the hummus was, it was like I had been lied to all my life about what Med’ food could be. And the worst part? I LIVEDINHOUSTONFOR12YEARSANDNEVERWENTHERE. I even lived very nearby this place(Houston is a big city) and probably drove past it multiple times. I will definitely be going back next time I am in town. I want to kiss the chef.

We’ve been eating here for years, and they never disappoint! Super nice staff, family owned, and reasonable prices. Love their home made grape leaves, and baba ganoush. Gyros are very fresh and yummy, I do wish they would add small pieces of cucumber in their tzatziki sauce. They will prepare GLUTENFREE, just ask.

I really wanted to love this place as its a block from my apartment. I went there on a Friday night and there was only one waitress on duty. Poor thing had like 8 tables walk in at once. We were doomed to have slow service and it wasn’t her fault. I could have overlooked it all if the food was sent from heaven… But it wasn’t. I ordered the beef kbobs and the meat was tough and chewy. Overall, I was very disappointed and will not be coming back. Bakkhus is my favorite Greek place in the area.

Still love the food here. The more I try off the menu the more I love. Even have the hubby bring home, after work, for takeout.

Ok is the only thing that comes to mind. For the Mix grill at $ 15.95 it’s pretty pricey for something that is just ok. I asked for tasiki sauce I got it but was charged for it! Really!!! It came in a small plastic sample cup. I think that was the way to lose a customer. The best thing was the rice.

Very nice family owned business. Very small, clean, and quiet. The waitresses were so sweet and kind. The food was very good! The tabouli and kibbi was delicious: defiantly worth going back to! Do not use Siri to find the restaurant it will take you around in circles use google maps.

Charming, Mediterranean Restaurant located near the Johnson Space Center off Nasa ParkWay. It’s been here for many years now but, somehow, I have only recently noticed it. The staff is very friendly & the food is good! They have a nice beer selection too! I will be back !

We stopped by here after a very long drive to the NASA space center. The restaurant is family owned and has a nice, casual atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that their meat is zabiha halal. I had a gyro sandwich, which was pretty good. My mom ordered a salad that was just okay, it was mostly just lettuce. We also ordered chicken fingers for the kids and they were good, hearty pieces of breaded chicken, not some frozen chicken nuggets. I definitely recommend this place over the cafeteria food at the NASA space center.

It’s a small place that you’ll pass up of you’re not looking(we passed it 3 times). The food is amazing! All 4 of us ordered different things so we could try a variety of foods. Our waitress Alece was very helpful when it came to choosing what to order, and very attentive. They have a combo platter that gives you a variety of foods if you’ve never had Mediterranean food before, or even if you have and just can’t decide what to get. Everything we tried was delicious and so flavorful. I usually get the Elias Special… it’s a plate of deliciousness! Anything we couldn’t finish definitely came home with us. They’ve been in business for 30 years, so they must be doing something right. My family and I will surely be going back… hopefully soon! It’s a Lebanese style Mediterranean food, and it’s worth a try. The prices are very fair and they don’t skimp on the food. Great family run place. Go ahead… try it!

This place has good food, but to me, just not great food. I always try a gyros platter or sandwich and it was tasty but not as good as others in the area, even some very near by. The service was outstanding, I would say better(more friendly, quick, accommodating) than other Greek places in the area. It’s a bit more casual without as much atmosphere, in a little bit of an awkward location, but one of those places that locals love and frequent so this doesn’t present them any issues. I would come to this place if you want good food and to get in and get out efficiently, and I should remember this more as sometimes I find myself going to places where I prefer the menu a little more, at the expense of better service.
