Great place for taking brand name luggages for repair, whether you bought from them or not. Already claimed warranty repairs on a Victorinox and a Pathfinder Platinum. Didn’t have to pay a cent both times, just dropped off and got called to pick up once they fixed them. Alternative would be expensive shipping to the manufacturers. If you’re not sure about your brand, call them to ask before dropping off and remember to bring dated receipt(don’t need to be from them).

I have purchased luggage from the Richmond and Sam Houston Tollway locations and have always been well served. I also have taken Tumi and Hartmann luggage in for repairs, and have never had an issue. The best and most knowledgeable person in the organization is Larry at the Richmond store — he seems to know the products in and out, can tell you the pros and cons of each brand and piece and really works to sell you something that you will be happy with. I have bought several pieces from him and always feel like I’ve been treated very well.

Stay away! Although they have a good selection of products, they DONOTSTANDBEHINDTHEIRPRODUCTS. In the past year, my husband & I have spent up to $ 2,000 at the Richmond store on Briggs & Riley luggage plus various other small items, one of which was a small self-raising umbrella. I used the umbrella Once, left it in my car for about 2 months til I needed it last week when we had a deluge. It would not open at all, much less automatically. I was near the store, so took it in for an exchange. I waited for the Manager to assist me & was TOLDIN A HAUGHTY, DISMISSIVEWAYTOTAKEITBACKTOTHEMANUFACTURER. REALLY?! I was outraged & explained what great customers we had been this last year. She became even more RUDE& repeated that I would have to take it back to the manufacturer. I explained, quite emphatically, I would NEVERSHOPATHERSTOREEVERAGAIN. She just stormed off in a huff. STAYAWAYFROMTHISSHOP! We are in Houston, a major city, where many & most other stores understand the value of customer service, being polite & the value of repeat customers.

I’ve gone to this store several times for different types of luggage or travel gear and I really like it here. They have a great selection. It ranges from affordable to high end. They also have different types of accessories that help you make your existing luggage more space efficient. I’ve been helped by the same sales associate most of the times I’ve been there. He’s always been very helpful and informative. He’s great at giving the pros and cons of luggage at different price points without making me feel pressured to get a more expensive bag. He’s also explained how the warranty’s worked for different brands. I read the other review for this location posted on Unilocal and wanted to post my experience. I’ve never felt uncomfortable there. I usually check here first whenever I do need to buy new luggage or laptop bags.

I travel a lot, and came here looking for a nice set of luggage. I admit to not knowing much about luggage, but the salespeople here were rude and dismissive because I wasn’t already knowledgeable about their products. A definite no.
