I ordered tacos for breakfast to take to work today and thought I’d try this place out since it’s new. I ordered the chorizo egg, bacon egg, sausage egg, machaca and spicy beef. I liked the spicy beef and machaca they were filling and had flavor. However, I didn’t really like the other tacos they had. There was hardly any meat in them so it was like I was eating just eggs in a tortilla. The eggs tasted pretty bland as well. I wouldn’t recommend the regular tacos but I do recommend the meat. I also haven’t tried the lunch specialty tacos and other lunch items so I can’t say much about those. I will probably go back sometime for lunch and give it another try.

This place is right next door to Jin Bento. I went to the area to try Jin Bento for lunch but saw this taco place and couldn’t pass up street tacos! So… I guess I get pretty greedy when it comes to food, I wanted to try both their tacos and sushi from Jin Bento! What did I do to dissolve this difficult decision? Well, duh… I ordered BOTH! :) I ordered a Chilango taco to compliment my mix California roll combo. I was satisfied with both places and my belly was too! Luchi and Joey’s had some good street tacos(3.67 for one) and my coworkers liked their chips and queso(3.50). I order one taco because the cashier said they were pretty big, honestly I didn’t think they were too big. If I didn’t have sushi, it would probably take 2 – 3 tacos to fill me up! The corn tortilla were soft and the meat was flavorful and delicious. They also have the Maine Root fountain soda machine(the ones you would find at torch ’ taco), love them! I will definitely have to make a run back to Luchi and Joey’s to get some more street tacos! Overall, the food was delicious and flavorful, fast service, and nice staff.

This is my first food truck visit since I’ve been back to Texas! I missed them so much when I was in Chicago. This couldn’t have been the more perfect segway back into the food truck world. My husband and I missed our Tex-Mex also and this was absolutely awesome! We met up with Luchi and Joey’s food truck at Boneyard Drinkery. We wanted some cold brews and a little fun for our pup. We ordered the beef nachos, two beef tacos for the hubby and baja fish taco for me. All of it was excellent. Beef nachos are delish! I love that they use queso instead of shred cheese and grilled onions. I would definitely get this again. My husband loved his beef tacos. I got one quick taste. The beef is tasty and the tacos were accompanied with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese and I think some salsa. As he said«these are fully loaded good tacos.» My fish taco was good. It honestly wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but all the other food was awesome so it didn’t phase me too much. I liked the mango garnish but I just wish they were cut into smaller pieces. There was cabbage on it but it wasn’t crunch like I’ve had before. Next time I will try something else. I’m spoiled because I have had many a fish tacos in San Diego so I have high expectations for them. Oh well I’ll move on to the next taco. Overall this place is legit and you need to go find them when they are out in about. I’m looking forward to seeking them out.

Great food for a great price. Had their chicken and beef tortas, they were delicious. Their salsa is pretty good.

I love Luchi and Joey’s nachos! I have had the chicken and beef and they are both delicious. Why are these nachos so special? The grilled onions and plentitud of queso make the difference. I have seen them outside of OTC and Luke’s Locker on Saturday afternoons. I know they also go to the Boneyard quite a bit. If you see this food truck, check it out!

Nom. Nom. Nom. This gourmet Tex Mex food truck recently set up shop outside my workplace in the Medical Center, and we in the office could not be happier. I have tried the Baja tacos(white fish with corn, a chipotle sauce, fresh lettuce, tomato, and mango– SODELICIOUS), and the Alambre, which I liked considerably less… The Alambre is probably a good deal closer to what you would find in any taco truck– grilled meat and cheese. They also serve burgers, huge tortas, nachos, and breakfast tacos in the morning!
