I had the shrimp and crawfish poutine, which I found tasty but unremarkable for $ 14.99! Should have had more shrimp and crawfish! And more spicy to get the whole Cajun thing going. To be fair, my dining companion thought it was d-lish.

My wife and I tried them out at Wheels Up Wednesday yesterday. The food was okay but hardly worth the money. I had the 2 sriracha shrimp tacos for $ 14.99. I really wanted fish but they were out of fish(even though we were there when they first opened) and my wife had the snack size crinkle cut fries covered in lobster Gouda sauce, which I think was about $ 8. Today I see my credit card was billed for $ 38.95. Where did $ 38.95 come from? I somehow doubt the only other thing we ordered(a Coke) was $ 15. Then, to rub sriracha in the wound, my credit card was billed TWICE. When the guy went to swipe the credit card a second time my wife even mentioned that he already had, to which he replied that he thought it timed out but would check. Guess not. Fortunately my credit card company should take care of that for me. Stuff happens… but to overcharge and then double charge after having it pointed out is a bit much. Update: The duplicate charge was removed from my credit card. I had already notified my credit card company so I’m not sure if D’Lish fixed it or if the card issuer did, but I’m giving D’Lish the benefit of the doubt and assuming they handled it.

Visited Houston last weekend and was touring the City and came across this delicious food truck. The fried chicken and bacon tacos were awesome! Never had a taco like this at home and truly enjoyed it. Filled with lots of chicken and bacon and really tasty. Definitely would recommend if you’re in the area around Sam Houston park and Herrmann Garden.

The truck came to my office building, I was so excited to try it as the reviews on Unilocal was great. So I set my mind up on the Smoked Gouda and Lobster burger as the reviews were all good and then I also got the shrimp & crawfish poutin. In total I spent around $ 33, and boy what a disappointment it is! Such a waste of my hard earned money! The burger was so tiny, nothing like the pictures I’ve seen, I was the first in line to order that burger! There’s barely any lobster, so sad, and Poutin also bleh… Food trucks are supposed to be good, this one was not consistent, obviously. I eat Bernie’s Burger Bus many times and they’re always good no matter how crowded they are. D’Lish really need to work on it!

D’Lish deserves 5stars… outside of there food being beyond delicious, the guys are very friendly and warm. It isn’t the healthiest but definitely worth the calories.

I got the smoked Gouda & Lobster burger. Not too bad, a toasted bun would have made it a whole lot better. I had to eat on the fly, so I didn’t get the flavor bomb that was promised. The jalapeño mayo lacked kick and as mentioned before the bun was straight from the package. They also serve poutine style fries. The pictures show crinkle cut fries, which unfortunately was a turn off. I was reminded of school lunch. I hope these guys iron out the little things that can make them a whole lot better.

Best caramel, bacon cheesecake ever. Didn’t think I would like bacon on a cheesecake but now after experiencing this lovely concoction I can’t wait until the weekend for the food trucks to arrive at the food park. If you are ever in the Kemah, TX area on the weekend do not miss the opportunity to indulge in this sweet treat.

In my eyes there’s two kinds of great food trucks. Good decently priced trucks and unique delicious trucks. D’Lish Curbside Bistro falls in to the latter on my scale. I got their supreme poutine and was pleased by the quantity of lobster, crawfish, and shrimp as well as the cheeses used on the fries. While some folks would prefer hand cut fries, I personally don’t care as long as they are crispy and well cooked. Portion size was good, the only downside was price but the experience was worth it.

Checked this truck out at Wheels Up Wednesday on the west side of town. I had the Supreme Poutine. It was a box full of deliciousness, tons of fries covered with their special smoked gouda sauce, with a ton of extra cheese, lobster/crawfish/shrimp everywhere. The seafood included were all good sized and fresh testing. I will absolutely have to try other items on their menu next time.

D’lish was one of the food trucks that was at my building’s Food Truck Fridays. Their food is definitely D’LISH! I ordered the Smoked Gouda and Lobster Burger($ 13) with a side of fries to share with my coworker. The mix of sauces – 3 different cheese + garlic aioli and other good stuff – on the burger was amazing. It created a cheesy, zesty sauce that went perfect with my fries. The sauces might have overpowered the lobster flavor, but no worries, the burger was still flavorful! Plus, there homemade egg bun was made to perfection! It was fluffy and buttery. Overall, expect some good-tasting gourmet burgers. I’ll be back again to try out their Truffle, Garlic & Herbs fries(which they sold out at the time) and their southern fried chicken strips! Note: I’m a little peeved that they had a sign that said«give 5 stars and get a discount.» Any review on Unilocal for them should be enough. Show some dignity!

The shrimp tacos were so fresh and deLish! We normally get the Poutin Fries… it’s so big we share and can’t get all that yumminess down! Happy to find they have a small version. Love them!

Made my way to the Houston Food Truck Park for an early dinner. The food truck that I was planning to go to wasn’t there so I stumbled upon D’Lish. When I saw the word poutine, I knew this place was for me. For those of you who are not familiar with this Canadian goodness, it’s basically fries covered in good stuff: gravy, cheese curds, etc. I went with the lobster and smoked gouda poutine which came with all of the above plus romano cheese and a great lobster sauce. The portion was generous and the service was quick and friendly. Knocked off a star because there was a little too much sauce for my taste but I’ll be back again to try their surf ‘n turf burger!

The food from this truck is amazing. I was a little skeptical about ordering seafood from a food truck because I’m from south Louisiana and VERY picky about the freshness of seafood. It was great! I’m not sure if it was because the seafood was super fresh or if it was covered in cheese so I couldn’t tell, but who really cares, right?! Everything was very good and I’d eat this again anytime. If you’re looking for a healthy meal though, you’ll need to move on to another truck because everything here is fried or covered in cheese.

The fries knocked a star off, the burger alone woulda gotten full marks! The guy at the window was very friendly, he asked if I had any questions, I said«can you half my burger so my husband and I can share it?» He said of course and that was that! We ordered the Triple Cheese and bacon burger, next time we would double up on meat, it was delicious. Juicy but not greasy, packed full of flavour and very reasonably priced. The fries were just ok, a little over spiced and the garlic aioli was packing a lil heat too so it was all just a bit spicy for my plain-lovin hubby. Definitely going back here though, this truck makes my list!

Pricey but worth trying at least once. I got the crawfish and shrimp poutine – very good. Service was amazing. The guy was really nice, made an excellent suggestion, and even though I said I’d be back(he said about 10 minutes) they were out in maybe 5 minutes and he brought them on over, extra crispy as ordered. Even came back with more silverware so I could share. Food was perfect and my friend was licking the basket for the mornay sauce. Seriously, I’d give this truck 5 stars but I haven’t had anything else on the menu to see if it’s consistently this good.

I’m definitely a fan of this place. I had an opportunity to eat here for my lunch break. My entrée selection was the Smoked Gouda and Lobster Burger, which was 12 bucks. The only disappointing part about this burger… it didn’t come with fries. Fast food has ruined me. The burger itself was NOMNOMNOM. I couldn’t put it down without having another bite shortly afterward. It comes with smoked Gouda sauce, garlic aioli, jalapeño ranch, asiago and romano cheese. The patty was greatly seasoned and totally juicy. There was a small portion of lobster that complemented the entire flavor. D’Lish didn’t get 5 stars because that wait time was monstrous for anyone’s lunch break. I waited over 20 minutes. Aside from that, I’d like to try the chicken strips and the poutine fries. I’ll catch them next go around.

My wife and I went to the food truck to check it out because they were parked at our apartment complex. Once we saw the menu and saw how worth trying it was, I called my mom to tell her the menu since you wanted know if it was good. They have fontine which is a Canadian dish where they cover french fries in whatever they want. She ordered the lobster french fries and I ordered the fried chicken. Took about 10 minutes to get our order, everything was hot off the stove. It was worth the wait. Everyone thought the lobster french fries were really good. Chicken strips had a firm texture, white meat with a decent pepper gravy bacon dipping sauce. Everyone would eat here again easily. They have a lot of stuff to try. Yol O

Holy hell, the burger I just had from D’lish was AMAZING. Bacon, cheese, garlic ailoi, and juicy beef on a homemade bun? Yeah it was good. The owners where so nice. They make their food with passion and it shows in the taste! I will follow this truck all over Houston!
