Fast Vietnamese snack food. They have lots of stuff. Fried egg rolls, tofu, shimp tofu, meatballs, pickle cabbage, BANH Gio, fried pork patty and steam too.

I don’t live nearby, but I would grab the chance to go to this place and buy some of that tofu with ginger syrup and raisin bread whenever I can. I always get the banh bo, com ruou, fried tofu, banh tieu, che xoi nuoc, and banh cay for my family whenever I come. It’s rather affordable and straightforward. It’s cash only, and they don’t add the tax at the end. What you see is what you get. As for the people in charge, if you want something from the elderly man, speak a little louder in order to be heard. They do not spend time trying to converse and exchange pleasantries, but you don’t feel unwelcome either. It’s a great place, especially when there aren’t alternative places nearby that does the job well. The only reason that it’s four stars is that it is cash only.

I love coming here for a quick snack. They have many popular vietnamese food. Everything is freshly made but has to be taken to-go so no dining in. I personally enjoy the vietnamese sandwich but always end up grabbing many other items because they are cheap.

I only wanted 3 tofu puddings with ginger syrup. The lady said if I bought 5 then the sixth one is free. That’s pretty standard at most Vietnamese banh mi places or tofu places. I left with 6. Good game, old lady. Good game. Got hustled.

They have great Vietnamese food here. It’s not a restaurant more like a mini mart. I always come here for their Vietnamese sub sandwiches, coconut bread and banana chips.

Whenever I’m home for the weekend, this is the place I hit up for fresh fried tofu, egg rolls and Vietnamese dessert. Things that make this place a 5 star: 1) They make their tofu fresh every day! 2) they sell a variety of delicious fried tofu for an amazingly good price. 8 large cubes for $ 1.40…I have yet to find a place with that big of a bang. 3) so many options for homemade Che(Vietnamese dessert). 4) they are the definition of a family owned place. 5) the BEST sesame buns are found here. The best. 6) the flour and dried chili fries – omg. They put McDonalds and Chick-fil-a’s fries to shame. 7) it’s a clean store :) 8) everything is priced so fair. This place makes the Vietnamese food in Austin seem even more overpriced than it already is. Stop reading the reviews and visit!

Do not let the elder lady behind the counter intimidate you, she is as sweet as can be. I love the Pandan soy bean milk here, and the vietnamese sandwich here is really good. Bread is crispy, but not hard. The deli meat used is different then most shop, but you can definitely tell is home made daily. I love the bbq pork meat balls on a stick!

Came in here to get my vegi fix, got some tofu and snacks. However they also have pork and beef items! I was really confused as this is a vegetarian joint. Because I’m able to speak Vietnamese I asked the lady there and it’s not imitation meat it’s actually real meat. I’m still confused! Anyways tofu here is good just try to read the label as they have pork inside some of the tofu. Cash only people

Despite not being able to communicate with the owners and despite not being able to sit down, I love this place. There’s no pretention or atmosphere at this place. It reminds you of a convenience store that is packed with delicious goodies. They have some assorted food items in warmers(normally fried tofu, stuff wrapped in fried tofu, or fried stuff) and some desserts in the refrigerators. I grabbed some of their soft tofu dessert to go. It comes with the traditional rock candy/ginger sauce, but is light on the ginger. The tofu is barely a solid, which is the perfect state for this dessert. Eating that much tofu is a little overwhelming for me, so I ended up using the rest of the tofu for some Korean tofu soup and it was superb! This place is cash only and it would probably behoove you to bring someone who speaks Vietnamese or is at least familiar with the cuisine if you’re up for trying something new. They also have some fried tofu stuff for sale and fresh rice cakes. I tried their«rice circles», which are just circular rice cakes covered in a dried, fishy shredded substance that was totally addictive. It came with some really pungent fish sauce, which my co-workers did not appreciate, but I loved anyways. I tried the bean curd wrapped shrimp and it was good, but the bean curd was a bit dry. I really liked the taste of the shrimp paste and the flavor of the bean curd even though it was a bit tough. I’ve seen them have lean pork rice porridge with thousand year old eggs before, but I haven’t had a chance to try it. They sell them in big containers. You’ll definitely get bang for your buck at this place. I was stuffed to the brim after spending $ 5. This place is well worth the trip and a fascinating place for food adventurers to visit.

The owners are nice and friendly providing great customer service. I love their lemon grass and chili fried tofu and banh bao(steamed buns.) The meat stuffing in the banh bao is seasoned to perfection and the ratio of meat vs banh is outstanding. Although this place is literally 30 minutes away from me, I definitely can say it’s worth the drive. definitely give this place a try if you’re ever around the area!

They sell freshly made fried tofu, egg rolls, Vietnamese dessert, Banh Mi(Vietnamese Sandwhich) and a lot of other Vietnamese food. You can’t eat here, you can only buy food to-go. Overall, this place is good and you should try it out esp. if you are a fan of Vietnamese food.
