We used the drive thru because area looked shady. Ordered the 12 chicken bucket which comes with 6 «biscuits». It took about 15 – 20 min for the person in front of us to get their food and then come us. We got the food and it smells great! Smells like there is a garlic-y spice to it. The chicken was not dry or salty with a good amount of meat. It tasted like a good home-made fried chicken. The biscuits were more like bread rolls but they were warm and soft so I was fine with it. Overall, would try again!

GOODFOOD/POORLY RUN They have very good chicken if you like your chicken greasy and spicy like I do. They have service issues so if you like everything efficient and perfect, this is NOT the place to go. Timeliness: Do not go during the lunch hour unless you have some extra time to wait. Because you will wait at least 15 minutes even if you are the only customer in the place. Out of stock: I haven’t figured out why they bother having a menu because they are often out of basic ingredients, like chicken. Last week, I was told that the chicken breast were on back order until Thursday – really? Don’t look at the dumpster that is right by the drive through window. The dumpster does not appear to get emptied – ever – so there is usually a big collection of trash right outside the restaurant. I am not sure why they haven’t gotten in trouble with the city. Nice staff: The staff are very friendly and never rude or impolite. With a big smile, they will cheerfully hand you the wrong order and charge you for extra items that are not in the bag; so always double check before driving away.

To preface my review: I came here immediately after a football game where too many beers were consumed and I hadn’t eaten since the early morning. So, I was beyond hungry, but I also know good fried chicken when it’s there. I was in heaven at Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken. I actually discovered this place by mistake, but I had heard such great things and decided to pop in since I was in need of some serious grub. I ordered the 3-piece combo with a breast, wing, and thigh, and got 2 sides: red beans and rice and jambalaya rice(I think it usually comes with 1 side, but since I just got tap water, they offered me another side which was really cool). Chicken is DELICIOUS. Crispy, hot, fresh, juicy. Slightly greasier than some of the other great fried chicken I’ve had in Houston(Frenchy’s, Max’s Wine Dive), but I didn’t mind at all. I don’t know what some of the reviews are talking about when mentioning undercooked chicken… it was perfect when I went. The sides were good but not my favorite. I shared the seafood gumbo and that was by far my favorite side. The jambalaya was a little dry. Red beans and rice were good, and I ate them all, but again not my favorite in comparison to other fried chicken restaurants. Will definitely be back to try some other sides and get my chicken fix.

I’m not paying for bad service and an attitude. The chick that worked Wed., 7⁄22 @ about 5pm at the drive thru window has the worst attitude. she’s rude and I can’t imagine why you even have her working with customers. My parents frequents this location and say ‘that’s just how they are’. Not my money. I heard the food was good but i’ll never know.

So I drop by this place after seeing my initial choice was better for dinner lol rating based on drive thru service. Quite an extensive menu & some pretty good deals. 1 thing that really caught my attention was the bubbly young lady working the window saying: «hello! please take a moment to look at the menu and I’ll be right back with you!» great service during the busy lunch time. Just so happens the day I stop by the lunch special was fish tacos!!! How could I say no? the deal comes with featured item plus two sides of choice, but no drink. I also was surprised by being asked: did I want catfish or snapper? Fried, blackened, or grilled? Flour or corn tortillas? Say wuuut!!! I went for grilled snapper on corn tortillas with hush puppies and dirty rice for my sides. I’ve got to say I was pleasantly surprised at the tacos. Fish had fresh taste, well seasoned. Like the spicy slaw they added. The hush puppies were freshly made & the dirty rice was ok. 2 nice size fish tacos + 2 sides under $ 7, that’s a hella steal for lunch! For a 1st run LA Famous Fried gave me a pleaseant suprise. Quick & friendly service, pretty tasty food. Will def drop by to check out their other items.

I went in here on Wednesday night just because I was craving fried chicken. My friend had mentioned this place just because it’s literally right across his apartment complex and he had tried it one day. He suggested it cause he thought the chicken was actually pretty good and tasteful. So I thought, why not. I’m trying something new. When we walked in, we were greeted by the lady behind the counter. Let me tell you, she was incredibly nice and so hospitable and gave such great service. Funny thing though… it was one of the most funniest, most hilarious encounters I’ve had though. So let me tell you… when we walked in, of course we were greeted so nicely, but she saw me with my guy friend and blurted out, «you must be so lucky! She’s gorgeous!!». We both looked a each other and snickered. As we were still deciding, the lady said, «what brings you in, maybe I can help! Do you like seafood, chicken tenders, pasta?». So I told her, «I’m craving fried chicken, that’s why we’re here». And OHMYGOD. She responded in such a happy voice, «well dear, how far along are you?! You’re craving fried chicken!» HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I could not believe what just happened. Anyways, that was my encounter with the lady behind the counter. But back to the food ordering. I ordered 5 pieces of dark chicken and French fries. When my friend and I got home, we aren’t too happy with the fries at all. It tasted like it wasn’t cooked and more like cold and uncooked and out for a while fries. Fries were definitely not worth $ 2.99 and not great. The chicken itself was pretty good but small. I actually liked the flavors and for some reason I was scared it would be too salty but turns out it wasn’t. Also the inside of the place was very clean and well kept.

Great service, okay seafood, & awesome fried chicken! The crab balls are made with imitation crab meat which I don’t particularly care for, but if you like it, you should try them. I’m going to just stick to the chicken because every time I try their seafood, I’m disappointed.

Stopped by to get food for my fam. I decided to finally try the fried chicken this go round, others ordered a po boy and a(new!) seafood burrito. I have previously only ordered the cajun pasta at 3 of the 4 Houston locations. Everyone else pretty much enjoyed their food. I on the other hand was the odd(wo)man out! The chicken was… cool, I guess. Nothing special by any means. I got the 2pc with dirty rice & red beans ‘n rice as a sub’d side instead of a drink. The dirty rice was spicy but bland — idk how thats even possible but honey they pulled it off! smh The red beans weren’t memorable… blah. The chicken was slightly on the better side of decent. However, the STAR of the show was the«roll.» I use quotes because it was more like a damn brick. I know from now on to go just for my cajun pasta and keep my fried chicken cravings(no matter how infrequent) contained to Frenchys! P. S. The one thing I can say is that the customer service at the 2 out of the 4 locations we’ve visited is terrible. Hey, at least they’re somewhat consistent. –__–

I have been here about four times since this place opened and have only had the blackened or grilled redfish. You will get 2 sides and some garlic bread at competitive price. Now the first time the fish could not have been better, I eat grilled fish from many places around Houston so that says alot for them. The staff is very friendly and you can tell that they know they’re the new kids on the block so they are putting their best foot forward to earn trust, the place is new but I think it is a bit small and the food does take a while to come out to you. I wouldn’t say the wait is abnormally long, especially for anything properly grilled. Some of their drive-thru signs are confusing as well, like having a photo of food with no description or price. They’ve only been open for about 3 weeks and I hope they will work out the kinks soon. I’ve been to all of the other places in the immediate are so I will rate them based on their competitors. Overall not a bad place at all.

Restaurant just opened down the street. Was in the mood for Alfredo. Ordered the chicken Alfredo. It was pretty good; however I personally prefer penne or ziti. This restaurant uses some sort of spaghetti or fettuccine noodle. Reminds me of something out of a can or box. The dish had a nice Cajun flavor. Probably won’t order again. The staff was extremely nice and the food was cooked to order. Let’s hope the place keeps up their flow.
