Food is descent but if you are getting it delivered please check your food. Last time we ordered we were short some items and upon ordering asked them to PLEASE make sure everything is checked. Guess what happened again!

The food is greasy and heavy. The drink machine doesn’t always work, the overhead menu hasn’t been updated in over a year(and in severely out of date), and the staff don’t always use the same prices for the same items. Good for a quick snack, but not so great for breakfast.

Out of convenience, I’ve eaten here three times… too many. I work a few offices away and decided to walk their for breakfast and get the breakfast croissant(egg, sausage,&cheese) it left my mouth tasting super salty but I thought I just lacked water. Days later I ordered a chicken salad, it was ok — saw a few black spots but I decided to over look it. Today, Friday September 18th I came for breakfast again, they were out of croissants, so I chose the wheat bread, the cook had no gloves and was scratching his side(I chose not to complain –how dirty could his hands be, right since the owner is there lol) once I got to the office, it only covered half the bread. I started to eat it when I noticed the flavor from the first time, SUPERSALTY! Up til now, 5:10pm and drinking plenty of water I still can’t get the taste out. They are not sanitary. Be ware! Never again.

Do not get the veggie burger. I repeat do not get the veggie burger. However you need to get their Cobb salad. That is good eatin’! A little on the large side most of their plates but good. Other things to get are their wraps!

I(and my kids) love their breakfast tacos!!! The Lone Star omelette is the best buy in town. It feeds two people(complete with hash browns, toast, etc.) for under $ 6. They have also catered several breakfasts for me(over 50 people at 6:30am). Always on time. Always the price promised. Always good. I can say that this isn’t the case with other caterers in town. I’m a fan and glad to enjoy lunch and breakfast there at least once a month.

I know everyone has their own opinion however, that is what Unilocal is for. I personally have no complaints with Lone Star. We knew the original owner of this location who sold it and then it became Tommy’s. They had a higher delivery price limit so we didn’t order very often. However, Lone Star is more accommodating. What I have ordered so far, I have enjoyed. The ingredients are fresh and well made. Several of us at the office have ordered a variety of things, such as baked potato with BBQ, turkey sandwich, chef salad, club sandwich and fruit cup. The only complaint would be the fries as they got soggy during delivery but they are respectable. So far so good. Keep up the good work!

I actually added this«restaurant» to Unilocal to warn the general public. This place is the pits. I stopped in for a sandwich to go. «Aunt Pookies» up the road was mobbed and I couldn’t wait. OMG…the lady taking the orders was so rude I almost walked out. She also did not speak English. She got my order wrong THREE times. They gave me incorrect food… THREE times. AND she was nasty about it. I mean how can you screw up a chicken salad sandwich on toast. And it was horrible to boot. All watered down with mayo. Had probably been sitting there for days. Not worth the calories… I threw it out. And the place was filthy. As it turns out… the nasty woman who only speaks mandarin… was the OWNER. So…I guess that would explain why Aunt Pookies ALWAYS has packed parking lot and long wait… and The Lonestar… a half mile up… is always empty. Live and learn.
