Went with some co-workers and loved it. We have been there three times for lunch as a group and enjoyed it. Even on an «off» day(the crawfish wasn’t seasoned nearly as good as the previous time), it’s still the best we have had so far. We decided to do a little crawfish tour, we are trying different crawfish restaurants and we have just stopped going since we tried this place.

Figured I’d try this place because I was in the area. Ordered the fried oysters and a hot and sour phở. Food came out promptly buy the oysters were horrible. Literally the worst I’ve had. I couldn’t even eat the things and they ended up on the trash. The phở was good not steller so it warranted the the two star review. I should have gotten the crawfish. Everyone seemed to be enjoying those.

I have heard nothing but good reviews about LA Crawfish, but I wasnt impressed. The crawfish was cooked to perfection, no complaints there. The cajun rice is delish, but for $ 10, they piled the rice in the center of the container instead of filling up the actual container. The phở had no flavor. The chicken wings were cooked too fast: crispy skin, but slimy fat under the skin. My biggest complaint is that they penny, nickle and dime you: $ 1 for a tin tray, a fee for utensils, no free water. The owner was pissed that people were sneaking soda in their water cup so he did away with it… Whats that got to do with me? Spent over $ 100 and I cant get a cup for water?! The owner takes minimizing loss to a whole new level, expect metal detectors soon.

I love LA crawfish, except this one. The one on i10 in the Ranch market has been my fave. But this location, omg. Horrible service. Crawfish were small and mushy. Ordered 6 lbs, took almost an hour, then 3 ½ lbs of the the crawfish were mushy!(We only know because we had the manager weigh them.) Understand that on a Friday night crawfish places are going to be pretty packed, but at least make the the wait worth it. The only good thing about this place is BYOB. They don’t give out cups of water and they also charge 1 dollar for aluminum baskets to put your crawfish in. The door clearly states that help is needed and they obviously need a lot of help service wise. Warning: do not come here.

I like my chicken«sexy» as the cashier says! It is a throwback experience to my time visiting New Orleans growing up, with a slight Asian twist. I haven’t had the Phở, but the crawfish are pretty good. You can’t come here expecting a white table cloth experience, but they are fun and NEWORLEANS all the way! The only white table cloth you will get is the plastic one to wrap up your crawfish in :-). Thank you for the good food & the beads!

I’m a little shocked that you can go to a restaurant and ask for a utensil and be told you have to pay 2 dollars. The guy starts going on about how he started charging because last month it cost him 60 bucks to replace. Guess what– that’s the cost of doing business and why do I need to hear you gripe about your expenses. I’m just here to eat. When you start charging people for things you expect from a restaurant at some point people will start questioning the place. This place looks like it has been run into the ground. Urinal in bathroom is covered in plastic, and just little things make me realize this guy probably doesn’t know how to run a business and pockets every cent and when things break down would rather let it sit and rot than make an improvement for the customer. You figure you spend 60+bucks on crab and shrimp the last thing I’m gonna do is still a utensil. I’ll just stick to the big guys in the future. At least there I know I can get cutlery to eat with and a toilet that works.

I have been coming here a few times here and there during my lunch hours. This place gradually gets worse and worse each time! The food is not fresh, The phở is horrible don’t waste your money. Better yet just don’t come here, this establishment needs to go away. Crab meat was mushy and tasteless, not sure what the hype is about LACRAWFISH! Oh and don’t ask for a cup of water cause it’ll cost you money now, lol they said people took advantage of the soda machine. Well then they just need to monitor it. Yes I am cheap, but why pay for bottle water when you could have free water dispensed lol.

Had a late night crawfish craving and it was great! Staff was fun and energetic even when we walked through the doors at 10pm! We will return for more wings, crawfish and boiled shrimp!

Worst restaurant experience of my life!!! For one the staff is rude and loud. One of the employees nearly cursed me out in the parking lot for parking my vehicle next to hers and she was taking up 3 spots. They yell your name out like your in a barnyard and your calling out for cattle! Then the food was ridiculously over priced. For a half of pound of crawfish and shrimp and Gumbo we paid $ 50!!! The Gumbo was spoiled and disgusting. Not eatable. This placed needs to be shut down and moved to another part of town where they will treat they’re customers with respect.

Rude rude rude & nasty food! Let me just start by saying I love the company I’ve been to all other locations in Houston & they are by far the best crawfish in town! However the 43rd location is horrible! When I walked in I noticed the foul music with the f & n word all loud playing. Its just inappropriate especially when my child was there! The cashier over charged & took a good 10 min messing up my order. I wasnt upset about that, I get it we make mistakes and have our days. So as she was fixing my order I was scoping the place out. The workers werent dressed in uniform. One man had a muscle shirt on, not sure if he worked there or not but he sure was behind the counter eating the food. He must’ve had his kids there or something running around, he even cussed at them. Then snuck out bags a crawfish to his famiky or whatever. One employee had like a scab or blood on her nail & her nasty self was using a plastic knife digging in her nails, mind you she was handling the drinks and stuff. I was asking them a question & they were busy chit chatting & one female was dancing so I got annoyed and rolled my eyes, I know she saw me & in a rude tone asked me, «is somthing wrong?!» So anyways I get the food & the gumbo was nasty, the crawfish were cold! & thats a no no for me. I spent $ 60 for nothing. I obviously knew I wasnt gonna get my money back & not trying to argue with them with my daughter there. Ugh & the warmer for the butter had the plastic casing it was in just thrown inside the warmer. The restroom was a mess. There wasnt even a garbage can so paper towels were thrown every where. Its just sad to see this particular location like this. I really hope the owner of the company can see these reviews & hopefully do something about it. Bc thats just ridiculous!

I have no clue why I gave this place another chance after the last time I came in but a co worker wanted to try the Phở. Just like I expected awful service. I have been to places with bad service but this place take the prize for the worst. I’ll stick the LA Crawfish on 249. Avoid this place for lunch. You’ll be rushing to finish the food because it took over 25 – 30 minutes just to get it

The wait was long to order. Food was delicious! We went for dinner pretty late yesterday(Friday). It was about 8:30pm. We ordered 4lbs Garlic butter and 2lbs Cajun crawfish, 1lb garlic butter king crab legs, shrimp basket and crawfish tails. They were all soooo delicious! The crawfish were so good that I even sucked the heads! Gross I know! But it was that good :-) for all that food and four large fountain drinks we paid about $ 96. My kids loved it! We sat outside and chowed down. Good dinner!

This place has gone down the drain. I have been to the original several years ago and it was great, but this chain location was awful. Long, slow lines to place your order. The crawfish isn’t as juicy and flavorful as it could be– I think this is bc they just do a bland boil and toss in some seasoning right before serving it. We got 6 wings as an appetizer the flavor was nothing close to what I remember the first time I’d been. And they were dripping w grease. We ordered 2lbs of each flavor, when we got to the last bag there was only like 10 crawfish, they did give us more, but it was a hassle. Bathrooms were gross and sinks clogged. Oh and a fly in my water from the nasty ice machine– lovely. Go to Crazy Cajun!

Nope. Went with my husband during our lunch break. Waited about 30 mins to get our po boys to take back to the office. Behind the counter was messy they had no tea. The mayonnaise pump was broken they were out of sodas. There were maybe 4 other tables of people. No one looked exceptionally thrilled. I hate the writing on the wall. It doesn’t make it look cool it looked messy. So the actual sandwiches were strange. I thought it was a crawfish poboy but it should have been called a french fry poboy with crawfish garnish. It was also to come with coleslaw. Luckily we understood the girl when she said that came on the sandwiches. Then they gave us some sauce on the side. I thought it was a remoulade sauce even though we had asked multiple times for cocktail sauce. Not good. We will not be returning.

This place makes plain food pretty interesting. Crawfish phở isn’t something you think of everyday. Neither are kimchee oysters. but you’ll enjoy the intricate variety of Cajun flavored foods they have to offer here! Crawfish phở — I really do not like phở, but I stole a little from a friend and it was pretty good! Interesting fusion of crawfish in phở and a kick of Cajun. Wings — they were huge! I loved the spicy garlic & Lemon pepper. Excited to come back and try some of the interesting oysters :)

LA Crawfish’s Cajun style sauce is just so amazingly delicious and addictive. I couldn’t get enough of it and wanted to dip EVERYTHING in it. Nothing like sucking on crawfish heads to get all that intense shellfish flavor punctuated by the flavorful Cajun spice sauce. In addition, we also got a pound of the shrimp in the garlic butter and they were just so fresh and sweet on their own. Dipping them in the Cajun sauce only made them better. Also had the fried shrimp and oyster combo basket. It was crispy fried deliciousness with the oysters in particular standing out with fresh not slimy texture, and delicious briny flavor. Dip those fries in, again, that yummy Cajun sauce! Super flavorful and fresh seafood served at reasonable prices — crawfish $ 6.99/lb; shrimp $ 11.99/lb, LA Crawfish is easily a go to spot for some good food and beers for happy hour or to watch the game. Or just come back for that Cajun sauce. I know I will the next time I’m back in the city.

I have never tried anything I didn’t like from LA Crawfish. I love the original location, and now that this one has been in my neighborhood for a while, I’m a regular. I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that I might never order crawfish from LA Crawfish again. Those mudbugs are delicious, don’t get me wrong, but I’m lazy and like to stay clean-ish during a meal. LA Crawfish has so much more to offer that I can enjoy with utensils, such as: — Fried crawfish tails in a sauce of your choice(try the sweet and spicy) — Garlic noodles with shrimp, sausage and crawfish(my new favorite dish. The serving in a phở sized bowl yields plenty of leftovers.) — Shrimp boiled like crawfish in a seasoning of your choice(still a little bit of peeling to be done, but the reward is big) — Chicken wings(still some of the best wings I’ve ever had and reasonably priced) — Beignet fries(easier to eat and less messy than the original beignets, served with condensed milk to dip. amaziiiiiing) — Phở(the crawfish phở was my go-to dish at LA for a while, but now I’m enjoying the Hot & Sour phở which has Thai inspired flavors) We usually visit on weeknights and I’ve never experienced bad service or long wait times. There is upbeat music playing and sports on big screens. I love that there is a self-serve bar for drinks and condiments including siracha, hoisin, cajun spice, cayenne pepper, clarified butter, ranch dressing, limes and more. Thank you for coming to my neighborhood, LA Crawfish!

Services was friendly and quick. Plenty of seating. They had music playing in background. I love their garlic butter crawfish. 3 lbs is a good amount. $ 6.99/lb. I recommend crawfish, beignets straws, chicken wings. Or anything else on the menu. If you don’t want to peel they have a Crawfish Phở! LOVE!
