Wesleigh made my first visit to Kiehl’s a delightful experience! He sat me down, asked me questions about my skin concerns, ran a few brief tests(for oiliness and moisture), and offered many products for me to test. He was very good-humored, upbeat, and informative throughout the entire conversation. I ended up buying just a facial cleanser, but he stuffed my bag full of samples! Great customer service, and if all goes well with the cleanser, I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I love this place. I’m a recent Kiehl’s convert. I tried a BHA treatment back in March and it RUINED my skin! I’ve been going through the worst round of breakouts I’ve had since high school. Not even a trip to the dermatologist’s could help me much. I was shopping in Highland Village the other day and stopped by this place on a whim. It’s not easy to find parking, especially on a Saturday, but it’s worth the trip. I stopped in and asked the associate if he had any recommendations for my skin type. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the products. I left 20 minutes later with a cleanser, a toner, a serum, and a spot treatment. Now, a week and a half later, this acne that I’ve been battling for the past 4 months is finally gone! HALLELUJAH!!! I can’t recommend this place or its products enough!

I went to this location today for a moisturizing cream and walked out with just that and some other products to try out. Im so glad I came here and didnt goto a department store like Saks or Nordstroms for this because I feel like I got more one on one assistance and better knowledge of the product. The associate was extremely knowledgable and i feel like she helped me make the best choice in this purchase. The store if very well kept and has a nice welcoming open concept. They have some great products, even for men. Check it out.

My BFFs, sympathetic to my finals– and year-end induced break-outs, brought me here as some kind of intervention. They touted using Kiehl’s regularly with a Clarisonic.(I use Gurin, it works just fine.) PROS: : Place is clean and well-organized : Employees are very helpful and generous. Ask them about their own skin type and routines. They will give you extra freebies with your purchase, too, if you are on the fence about a new product. : Not too pushy(agreeing with Joy G.!) : Free events like the 02/20/2014 event launch for a new night facial — 20 minute free facial and hand massage, wine, Williams Sonoma peppermint bark, and Fiji water. : Discounts if you return 10 used product bottles. Yay for being environmentally friendly. : Discounts when you eventually spend $ 100(not hard to do) : Competitive with Origins pricing : Products — most of them aren’t too smelly, especially the ones marketed for guys. : Naturally-based ingredients. CONS: : Travel sizes might be too big for international travel : Pricier than Neutrogena, but what do you expect from stores in Highland Village? Call in and see if they’ll do a free 20-minute appt with you to try out their products. They might even do it, on-the-spot.

Love the products and this particular location. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and not too pushy. I’m glad to shop here instead of ordering online. My daughter loves the baby products as well!

This isn’t a review on Kiehl’s products, because let’s face it, if you aren’t a believer yet, you need to find the first place that sells their products ASAP. But wait! You don’t even need to purchase anything because if you go to a stand alone store, such as this one, they will give you samples to try for free! Anyway I digress. I am glad that Houston has a stand alone Kiehls store so I don’t have to rely on Nordstroms and other dept stores that carry them. The service provided at an in-store Kiehls helps a lot if you don’t know what exactly you are looking for and what product works best for you. This particular Kiehls had knowledgeable staff when I had questions regarding what type of hair shampoo. face moisturizer, etc. I should use. Overall, a great store to pick up the best Kiehls products.

Thank goodness we have a stand alone Kiehl’s store in Houston! What would my face do without you? I’ve had horrible skin since age 12 — my skin was oily that lead to breakouts, dry in certain areas, and to top it off, psoriasis! And then I discovered Kiehl’s about a year ago. I started by using their pore reducing line, and my skin is now clear, evenly toned, and smooth! How I can I NOT be loyal to a brand that has allowed me to wear less foundation? On top of being great for my skin, I love that all of the ingredients are naturally-derived! Such as, the pore reducing line is based upon the properties of Amazonian white clay or rehydration cream made from rosa artica. My favorite product is the Ultra Facial Cream. I can feel my skin drinking up the moisture, and the cream is so light that it feels like I’m wearing nothing. The only product that has not worked for me is the avocado eye cream. My skin did not absorb the thick cream well, and I started to get milia where I applied it. But Kiehl’s has a 30-day guarantee that if a product does not work for you, you can return it with no questions asked. If you are hesitant to try, Kiehl’s ALWAYS offers samples! That’s how they keep me reeled in =]

Guess Kiehls has some fans, add another one to the list :) Came here because my friend loves their lip balm. And yes, thanks to the samples by the register, I ended up spending $ 14 on hand lotion. But I must say it is definitely worth it.(Ultimate Strength Hand Salve)

I love Kiehl’s. Their Crème de Corps is the only body lotion I will use. I’m a fan of the Body Balm as well. They have some good facial care products, also. This store is clean and well organized. It’s not so big of a store but it’s easy to move around in. I’m always excited about cosmetics/beauty so I have fun here.

Kiehl’s has a very good line of body lotion that I am in love with. Great scents and they make your skin feel sensational. They have a yummy counter guy too :). Everyone is really helpful and eager for you to try out the products by giving away lots of samples. I’m partial to other products for my face and hair but will go here first for lotion and lip crème. I have yet to try out all of their products, they have such a great variety. Kiehl’s products can be found in Neiman Marcus as well, but they don’t seem to have the complete line like the Highland Village Location.

I love Kiehl’s products for their quality and non-fussiness factor. The company was established in NYC in 1851, though they now belong to L’Oreal. This merger did not appear to affect their integrity, if anything, Kiehl’s continue to offer more interesting and innovative products to keep you beautiful. Because you’re worth it. Another big positive for Kiehl’s is that they have always been generous with their samples, so you may try before you buy. The bountiful samples foisted upon moi have led me to purchase products I never would have considered buying. For those with sensitive skin or who are fragrance wary, this is also helpful. So kudos to Kiehl’s for a simple, but brilliant marketing strategy; give and you will get back. For example, after receiving some samples of their Amino Acid shampoo, I became addicted to its coconut fragrance because it reminded me of a slightly carmelly, toasted coconut candy I had as a kid, and the beach. Consequently, I had to go back and buy a bottle. An added bonus was that I liked the way my hair felt after I used it. Also, instead of eau du toilette, I prefer to use Kiehl’s essential oils; I use less, the scent lasts longer, and since you can layer essential oils, you can customize your own scent. My favorites are the Original Musk, cucumber, grapefruit, and coriander. Kiehl’s recently issued a rollerball pen version of these, along with gardenia, pear, and amber. My intention was just to just drop in and purchase ONE pen in cucumber, but I ended up leaving with three(cucumber, gardenia and amber, natch). The darling sales girl also sent me off with samples of lavender body scrub, so now I’ll have to go back and buy a bottle. One does need to exfoliate more in the summertime. Kiehl’s products are also, for the most part, unisex, so men can stock up on body cleansers, shampoos, and anti-aging creams and not feel like a metrosexual or any such foolishness, just because they want to be worth it too.

This place is great. Although you can get their products at Nordstom’s and some other department stores, paying a visit here is always a special treat. The store front is very inviting and very reminiscent of an old fashion apothecary. As Kim T. said they have fabulous free samples. Yay, for samples! I love their face products. I am especially a fan of the Yerba Mate Tea Cleaner. The quality of their products are seen and they do not need fancy packaging and advertising as seen in other companies(i.e. Bath and Body Works). The label of the products are so simple and they let their products speak for itself. Pay this place a visit; there is something here for everyone. Women, men and even pets!

I have long straight hair that thinks it’s a sponge. Think chia pet on humid days! I discovered Kiehl’s «Heat Protective Silk-Straightening Cream» about 9 months ago. Angels wept… this is good stuff! The store in Highland Village is fabulous. It is artfully and logically laid out. You can find what you want easily. The people that work there give sensible advice about products and you don’t feel like they are selling you anything they think you will buy. The products they sell you are, for the most part effective. I have tried the body cream(love it), the foaming bath(great smell not so great foaming) and the lip glosses(highly recommend), If you have hair like mine get the hair products. They are not on the low end of the price scale, but I would rather pay for something that works than have a whole cabinet full of drug store crap(can you say crap on here?). The best part of the whole place are the rows and rows of little drawers behind the counter. Make nice with the sales people and you will be treated to a bagful of goodies from the little drawers! Why is it so exciting to get free samples? On a side note if you prefer internet shopping the website is great and they include samples with every order. If you earn frequent flyer miles, check out your provider. Mine gives 5 miles for every doller spent at Kiehl’s.
