One of my favorite take out places. Fast delivery and for a reasonable price and food is good and always delivered hot.

Family run and affordable Chinese food. Always quick service. I will drive 30 mins through rush hour traffic just to pick up dinner from here.

Cheap, fast, good food, straight to the point clerk — What else can you ask for a Chinese spot?

This is my go to Chinese delivery, my roomate and I love it here. Always speedy delivery, great prices. Everything we order seems to be very fresh. Favorites of us are orange chicken, beef lo mein, and mongolian beef. I always get the fried wontons because they are my fave. My roomate loves the wonton soup.

For the price it is great. You will be spending about $ 6 on the combo meals. You get to choose a soup and an appetizer. It’s not an establishment you want to eat inside, so most orders are delivery/take-out.

Pre made food. Will not let you change what is in the fried rice(I wanted no onions) even if you offer to pay! Stay Away!

I used to LOVE Hunan and go here regularly — haven’t been now in awhile but ordered tonight and was beyond disappointed. Not only did it take 1.5 hrs to get a call about my delivery the guy(Jason) claimed he was here but needed directions — I tried to figure out what gate and he didn’t know and hadn’t looked at the map. I walked outside and walked around but there was no one. I called the main number and they kept telling me the driver would call me… he never did. I explained to the guy on the main number that although his driver claimed he was«driving around» he was not because the complex is a big circle. After another 45 minutes I told them to forget it and I would not be paying for my order as it was never delivered — the driver laughed at me and hung up and the person at the restaurant just said«oh geez» and chuckled. I don’t know what happened to this place but clearly things have changed… not going back and never recommending again.

The food is pretty cheap and fast, but the quality is sub par. My shrimp wasn’t fully cooked and the rice was stale. The veggies were pretty good though. The customer service is not so great.

After reading reviews, very disappointed. After finally arriving, total disappointment. Rice a pile of mush. I had the Mongolian beef, mostly onions and sauce. Sauce was good. The wings okay. The crab puffs seen to missing the crab, all I could taste was old grease. Husband had the Orange chicken, said okay as long as he didn’t eat the mushy rice. Wonton soup was basically rehydrate broth, but the tastiest part of the meal. We ask for extra soy sauce, told«ya ya». Basic 2 packs. Needed it, to cover poor taste. Not a return customer. Guess you get what you pay for. Cheap, tasteless, mush.

I love this little Restaurant. It is fabulous both for ‘takee outee’ or eatee innee. They are always very pleasant and the food is consistently very good. The price is reasonable. They deliver as well. This has become one of my favorite standard ‘go to’ places near NRG. I highly recommend their Hot and Sour soup. It is very tasty and not oily like so many places can be. The General Tso chicken is the bomb. :) Nice pieces of chicken with the perfect ratio of sauce to chicken. If you have a craving for chinese food and are in the area — this is a great pick for a very inexpensive price.

I think I might be getting my asian food mixed up bc I ordered sweet and sour chicken thinking about panda express’ food but no… This one is the fried pieces of chicken with the sweet and sour dipping sauce. My taste buds are so confused right now but I do like this version of sweet and sour chicken as well. The lunch menu is pretty inexpensive and comes with a lot of food. I’m cool with this lunch spot. It came right off the fryer so beware… I burned my tongue cause I couldn’t wait.

On time delivery, inexpensive, and great taste. This is our place to get fast chinese food from. The egg drop soup has the right amount of flavor. Some of the«spicier» items may not be spicy enough for some, but still have plenty of flavor. There is another place nearby that delivers, but it was 2−3x more expensive, and the quality wasn’t up to par.

Very good food and it is not expensive. I recommend this place to anyone in the area. Food is very good and always served hot. Come try it out. Don’t pass it by. I eat here atleast once every week.

When reviewing I take several aspects of the business into account I. E price vs quality, promptness in answering the phone, accuracy in my order, speed of delivery. This place gets 5 for a great reason. We have all had the standard issue Chinese fare. It is usually a little over priced and the Tsos always has too much breading… NOTHERE!!! I ordered pork fried rice, fried dumplings, a General Tsos which for 7 bucks is actually a combo!!! I got wonton soup as well as chicken wings for 7 bucks… WTF?! How are they in business? My total tab to have this little gem deliver to my place all this awesome grub? Under 20 dollars. They will have my business as long as they can afford to stay open… with profit margins like this they must do some insane volume. Way to go Takee Outee. I am a believer.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. I got the Hunan Delight(extra spicy) and it was bland and not spicy at all. I ordered takeout and the food was ready quickly but that was about it. Egg drop soup was tepid and tasted generic. The dumplings I ordered were decent but not enough for me to ever consider going back. The food just isn’t that good. There are far better options near the Med Center and even for the price I can’t see the value in it. I love hole-in-the-wall Chinese spots but this one was severely disappointing. Pass.

Prices are unbelievable! You get so much for less than $ 10. And with the lunch specials you still get a bunch of food for under $ 6. Only complaint is that I wish the fried rice had more flavor. You have to dress it up with the sauces

I ordered take out from this restaurant tonight. It’s my second time ordering from them. I didn’t call ahead and it didn’t matter. They had my food out lightening fast. I think I was out the door 6 minutes after I ordered. I got shrimp fried rice and I’m happy with it so far. It’s on the blander side but is still really tasty. They were generous with the shrimp, too. Food is very reasonably priced and portions are large. Also, the folks working the counter were pleasant and made me feel welcome. I will definitely come back again.

Speaking for an asian, the food is typical american chinese food. They do try to have a more authentic menu for overseas guests. But for the price you pay, this is not a bad deal. If you dont want to go all the way to chinatown near alice to get authentic chinese dishes, this is a good alternative to feed your craving for american chinese. Definitely better then your typical chinese fast food restaurants you see around. Also they have some unique chicken wings, heavy on the ginger flavoring if you like it.

OK here goes: This place is the BEST sketch Chinese value you can get for $ 6.50 hands down. It’s a hole in the wall that lets you get an entrée, rice, appetizer, and soup in 10 minutes or less from calling it in. Now remember, I said it was a hole in the wall, so you’ve got to adjust my 4 star rating for that too and have your expectations set accordingly: they aren’t trying to woo you in with ambiance, or anything like that. This place is meant to be take out either with you getting delivery or you coming by and quickly picking up the food. Once, you’re cool with that, the food is sketch city in terms of the deep fried Americanized Chinese that we’ve all come to know and love.
