I first ran across their products as a gift from a local property management company over the holidays. The lightly salted mixed nuts were so good I snacked on them for days. Today I decided to give someone else one of their 2 pound gift tins. I had a little trouble trying to find the place but they lady who answered the phone was very helpful with giving me directions. Once I arrived, I was greeted by the the same lady who answered the phone and another lady, who both helped me with my selections. I can see myself as a lifelong customer, great products accompanied with great service!

Been a few years since our son lived in Houston, but we always went for the best dried and candied fruits I’ve ever had. Nuts wonderful, too. If you make fruitcakes for the Christmas season you should order ALL your fruits and nuts from them. It was started in the late 1940’s by a Mr. Cooper, an immigrant, Jewish survivor of the Holocaust. He survived the Holocaust because as a teenager… he was on Schindler’s List. There’s a newspaper clipping detailing this posted in their retail store.

I’m new to Houston and two locals told me about this place. I bought sliced almonds, pistachios, currants, and peanuts. They have a good selection of products without salt, which is my preference. The pistachios were incredibly fresh! I was so happy to find currants. I do a lot of baking and currants are more versatile than raisins. They are also sweeter. The location is just outside of the I-610 loop so it’s convenient.
