Houston 4 Lease

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Bruce Lessey for the past three years. When I got married back in 2012, I moved in with my husband and did not know what to do with my townhouse. Since I had not been there long, I would have taken a loss in order to sell it. I am a busy professional who did not have the time to serve as a landlord, but really needed to rent out the property.
It was a true blessing to find Bruce. He was able to find good applicants to rent the property to. He was also able to manage the property concerns that came up during the lease of the tenants. I never had to interact with any clients directly and the monthly rent was always sent to my bank account without delay!
When I decided in ⁶⁄₂₀₁₅ that it was time to sell the property, Mr. Lessey and his assistant Charita did a quick and efficient job with the selling of the home. In fact, the home was sold within two months! Not bad for a townhouse!
I would highly recommend this company for any of your real estate or rental needs. Thanks!

Do Not trust Bruce Lessey, Houston4 Lease (Coldwell Banker) to manage your rental property! I have been excessively and wrongfully charged for unnecessary, unneeded, unapproved, upgrades and repairs on a rental home he manages for me in Humble, Texas. My numerous requests to justify the expenditures and provide receipts have been ignored. The Property Management Agreement clearly states
that no repair work is to be completed over a specified amount without prior authorization. Bruce took it upon himself to install blinds (cosmetic) and also authorized work over the specified amount. He then took the money out of the rent checks he collected from the tenants without discussing it with me! When I asked for receipts, an explanation, and a credit for some of the unauthorized, unneeded work, he ignored all my requests!
As an out of state property owner, communication, honesty, and professionalism are especially important. Bruce has provided none of these and in fact, has clearly tried to take advantage of my out of state situation.
I am still waiting for a response to my previous e mails, phone calls, and most recently, a letter sent usps which he received July 25, 2014. As of this date he has offered no resolution, nor has he provided documentation or receipts which I am legally entitled to.
I will post the outcome on Unilocal.It is my hope the issue is resolved honestly and professionally. Unfortunately, my current experience with ith Bruce Lessey, Houston4Lease has been a terrible one and I hope this review helps others avoid a similar experience.
