Love their veg pufs, Bombay sandwich and paav bhaji. Good place to stop for a quick snack or a light meal.

Decent place for an inexpensive on-the-go meal. I usually get the chicken tikka bun. Beware it’s actually really spicy. I’ve also had their coffee flavored cake. I was a bit disappointed in it because I like the strong taste of coffee, and it didn’t seem like there was much in it. I’ll try something different next time but I wouldn’t recommend getting coffee flavored anything from there.

I always eat the chicken sandwich which is served cold. I also get a chicken pizza which is personal sized and spicy. Their food is delicious but also very cheap. Excellent place to grab something quickly for lunch and for very little money. Mom and Daughter team runs the place and they are gracious!

The cake and cookies are excellent. The service is comical. The owner has to get someone other than his mother to work the register. She is a very nice lady — but this is so beyond her. They then have a young man helping that does not speak any english trying to help others that don’t really speak english except they don’t speak the same language either … customers are Indian. They don’t know what«dozen» means, one has to remind them of the order, they seem frazzled even if they are not waiting on anyone and putting cookies in a box is a challenge. I’d recommend getting something and enjoying your purchase there — then sit back, relax and enjoy the comdey show.

Can’t praise this place enough! Had ordered for my son’s first birthday cake with minion theme and it exceeded well beyond our expectations! It was a black forest 12″ cake which was exactly what was shown in the pic. Will definitely will be back.

The two women who run this business are truly outstanding, with respect to the care, and attention they give to their food as well as to the customers. Everything is very VERY reasonably price even though they could easily charge a $.80 — $ 1 more on the baked items, pastries, and puffs. I enjoy coming here, b. c it’s exactly how small businesses should be: care, attention to details and makes you feel good! They even kept a lost wallet that I DROPPED on their street(not even in their restaurant) for over 2 weeks for me and then recognized me when I came in, saying that they happen to have gotten my missing wallet.

Nice place with pretty good cakes. I tried the pistachio cake which turned out to be very good. But mango mousse was a terrible disappointment. I would suggest trying conventional cakes over mousse and other stuff.

The chili chicken wrap is very good. The panini chicken tikka sandwich was ok but not as good. They also have savory pastries filled with spicy chicken… The chili chicken croissant was excellent. I have a feeling their other savory pastries are also good. Good Pakistani street food, spicy.

This place is amazing! I have the most fun time going here, because it is a foodie/sweets persons paradise. They have been open for almost 14+ years and we literally grew up eating there deserts and sandwiches. Personally i love spicy, and i myself add more hot sauce when eating it. There is not one thing i hate on their menu. I am know for going and just buying 2 of everything. Both ladies are very kind and helpful. I even got my high school grad cake and college grad cake. My weekly trips include getting chocolate pyramid, black forest, chicken tikka pizza and vegetable danish. If i know i won’t be coming back anytime soon since i do drive from the north side, then whatever they have i take 2 of each just bc it will last forever. warning ** never go when you are fasting, you just end wanting everything lol

People were nice but the food was overly spicy. I’m not sure how they were rated as a top restaurant. Not in my book.

I would say you will find best dessert like Black Forest cake. Their tikka chicken salad sandwich is great. Chicken keema and goat keema puffs are good. Overall rating is 9⁄10

It’s more of a bakery than anything else. Food is alright. More for junk food items. I love their plum cakes and other bakery confectionery. The Austin branch is WAYY better for all kinda food and fun ambience. This one is on the quieter side as its newly opened in Houston area. Let’s wait for it to catch Upto the Houston food scene. :)

wife was craving patties and decided to check out the place. Older lady behind the counter advised she wont accept debit or credit card. she later advised that the purchase has to be more than $ 10 for her to accept card. feeling guilty my wife asked me for cash and i only had a single $ 50 in my pocket. turns out the same lady scoffed and told my wife rudely«what’s this? you come back with a fifty?». wife naively asked if they were halal, and again got another rude remark«we’ve been in business for 16 yrs and you must be new to town». true, we are new to town, but never going back there again for sure. i haven’t even tried what she bought, biggest factor for me is customer service … disappointed.

Honest opinion I feel this place is over rated, they have great selection of snacks and bakery item, but we were disappointed on the order of vada pav and chicken tikka panini, vada pav had no chutney and taste of just boiled potato, they just had hot sauce and ketchup… chicken in panini was soggy and may be old, onion in the panini din’t taste good either, i wish had just gone to Balaji Bhavan across the street.

First Indian bakery I ever been to. It left a pretty okay impression on me. They definitely have some interesting stuff that I won’t find in Asian/American bakeries. Stuff here isn’t expensive. Their cookies are okay. Their croissants have lamb or chickens stuffing. Those are pretty decent. It’s very authentic.

I went their for the first time last weekend with a lot of hope based on the reviews and pics but was disappointed. Tried their chicken tikka panini which was dry, chicken filling was even dryer and lacked moisture. Same with a chicken tikka flatbread that my wife tried. I am sure they might have certain bakery items that may be good but overall didn’t like it much.

I’ll give this place a solid 3.5. This was the first time I’ve had Indian puffs outside of India and it wasn’t half bad. They have a variety of flavors like the chicken tikka, paneer tikka, etc. They also have a bunch of other kinds of pastries(sweet and savory), cookies, and cakes. We ordered three of the puffs and they were pretty good. The crust was flaky and crunchy, while the inside filling was flavorful. But it did taste a bit dry and seemed to be missing something. I recall having super buttery puffs with delicious and spicy fillings in India. These were a just sub par. I also wish they served egg puffs(which has chunks of boiled eggs mixed with masala as the filling). Nonetheless, I will visit this place again to get my puff fixing in the future or try some of their sweet treats.

At first glance, Hot Breads is a carb lover’s paradise — an assortment of colorful cakes and Indian pastries not found in most American bakeries. The entire room is just stocked with a variety of pastries to try. They serve a selection of cakes(whole or individual slices), panini’s, breads, and(what looks like) pizza. I ordered the Tikka Chicken Plait for $ 4.59 before tax and it was OK. I ordered it because it said«Tikka» in front of it and it looked filling. I didn’t expect it to be a bit dry but maybe it was sitting out for a while. It had a spicy and meaty taste to it that was a bit strong for my liking. I also got to try the Chicken Tikka Panini and it tasted the same except it had some vegetables inside. Overall, I don’t think I will come back here again but it was fun to try something new. Maybe their cakes are better? Perhaps come here for dessert instead of for a casual lunch. I saw more people buy cakes than stuff sitting in the counter. TIP: –Credit cards are only accepted above a $ 10 purchase.

NOT A VEGANBAKERY! Vegetarian-friendly yes, but nothing is vegan! Tried the Roasted Chicken Panini today for lunch. WOAH! Luckily it wasent overbearingly spicy like the tikka panini, and the veggies were very fresh. The Roasted Chicken wad moist and not over-seasoned or too herby. The red onion adds such a contrast in flavor and texture to the sandwich, the whole thing just works!
