Have been going here for years. They always have my things ready quickly and do a great job on the cleaning. I like that the clothes are cleaned on site, less chance to lose something. I would give them four stars but they do not take credit cards, checks only.

Took a pair of my favorite jeans in to get repaired and pressed. They were done that day. Worked out great and I hope to use them in the future.

I really wanted to like this establishment as it’s close to my home and I’ve driven past it dozens and dozens of times. So, about 2 weeks ago, I brought a big ol’ bag of clothes(consisting mainly of my husband’s work wear) and dropped it off on a Saturday. I was happy to see they were open till 3 pm on a Saturday. The lady at the counter took all my stuff; when I asked for a ticket, she said they don’t hand out tickets and just give them my last name for pick-up. Ohhhkayyy. I shoulda gone with my gut feeling when she told me that because between my husband & myself, it’s taken us 3TRIPS to the cleaners to retrieve all our clothing items. Uh-huh…I wish I were exaggerating, but sadly, I’m not. The first time, my husband arrived on Monday after 5 pm and found out they were a cash/check only joint. He was told the bill was approx $ 30 so he dashed off to the ATM. Upon his return, he found out that bill was only for shirts, not pants. So I went back 2 days later, with more cash in hand for his pants. My hands were full with a toddler in tow, so one of the staff helped me out to my car — that was good service. Fast forward a week later, my husband realizes he’s missing some shirts(don’t ask why it took x number of days for it to clue in…), so I call Heights Cleaners today. «Oh sweetie, we’ve a bunch of things here for you!», the lady cheerfully exclaims. WTF? It turns out they had some more pants and a couple of shirts. I politely point out to them that if they had a ticket system, this mass confusion would’ve all be avoided. They tell me that all the laundering is done on premise, so it’s «okay». And that maybe it wasn’t all completed on the Monday(promised date) or Wednesday, when I returned so that’s why they still had our clothes. Huh?! If you want all your clothes cleaned & pressed in 1 trip, don’t go there. The folks who work /operate this place are sweet, but I can go to a dessert bar for sweet. For dry-cleaning, I need efficient and regretfully, they fall short.
