I stayed here for one night before my Cruise from Galveston port. Free shuttle from the airport and free breakfast is included also. I would stay there again.

Shane(maybe I forgot her name, but a gorgeous African American lady) checked me in with a warm smile. She also offered both market items and points due to my Gold status. A good sign of an awesome stay! The room was brand new! The amenities were also good. I enjoyed my stay here. I think I will try more Hampton Inn in the future.

Service was spectacular. Friendly staff and friendly drivers. We had a friendly gentleman that helped up from airport to hotel, then hotel to a great Cajun place. I hate that I forgot his name. He told us he was from Chicago! He was great. Also had Kelly the next morning that drive us calmly and safely to the airport. Friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and quiet.

I needed a place to crash for a one night stopover jn Houston and the Hampton Inn fit the need being close to the airport and providing free shuttle service. The room was huge and the king size bed super comfy. I found the scent of the carpet powder a little overwhelming upon walking in and unfortunately, the windows didn’t open. You do hear the noise from the airplanes flying over but the air traffic slows down at night, so I didn’t have any trouble sleeping. As far as location, there is really nothing around but a gas station and some fast food joints. Take that into consideration if you don’t have a car unless you want Jack in the Box burgers for dinner.

I had a very short stay at this property. Checked in at 11:30 pm and checked out at 5:00 am. I was really hoping to find a cozy room that would comfort me enough for a 3 – 4 hour nap. I walked into my room and was disappointed right away. The room was stuffy and much smaller than any Hampton Inn I have ever been to in the past. I also hated walking into the room on the first floor(late at night) to have people in the parking lot see me closing the blinds. It was pretty ghetto. I changed and dove into bed only to find dwarf pillows waiting for me! Usually, they provide pillows of different thicknesses to suit most. Not here. I had four tiny square pillows that were thinner than pillow shams. Also, the chair and ottoman had nasty stains that were probably bodily fluids, which added to the ghetto factor. Huge disappointment like a room you would rent by the hour. I also thought staff was a little rude. I mentioned needing a wake-up call at 4:30 am so I could leave at 5:00 am. Clerk proceeded to tell me that breakfast started at 6:00 am. Meanwhile, another staff member completely interrupted our conversation. I get it– what do you want from a Hampton Inn? Comfort like the one I stayed in near downtown Houston last night. It was a quick, disappointing stay. Doubletree will get my business next time.

Hotel is very clean and staff is great. As for the other review, it can’t be the hotels fault that they are far from everything. It’s an airport hotel. True, IAH is some distance from the city but I did a little research before coming so we rented a car on our visit. I had work at the airport so had to stay near there is why we were ok staying in this area for our stay. Parking is free if you rent a car. The hotel is next to jack in the box, churches chicken and Taco Bell if you don’t feel like going far and they have a list of places that deliver to you. Please don’t choose Kung food. It’s gross. Breakfast runs from 6 – 10 and they have a pretty good selection. Would stay here again on our next visit.

I was here for 4 days in sep 2013 the hotel was clean but the furniture was falling apart and the chair with a suspicious stains the front desk personal very unhelpful with direction I ask direction for a restaurant the man at the front desk said 15 to 20 min. Was not took a 55 min. With a Outrage bill of 90.00 dollars. This hotel is very far from every where and taxi are very expensive. I do not recommended
