We stayed one night here passing through on a road trip. I had a hard time finding the hotel, but when we did get there I was greeted with a smile! The rooms were very clean and looked like they had been updated recently. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. I loved their shower! Coming from a house that has not much hot water, I was so excited when I had a HOT shower the WHOLE time! I had no problems with the noise of airplanes during the night. Close to the major freeway we needed to get on in the morning. If we ever drove through Houston again I would consider staying at this location again.

Not the best Hampton I’ve been in, but not the worst. Though I must add, housekeeping seems to be more than a bit slow. I had a first floor room and upon returning to the hotel at approximately 3:00 the room still had not been serviced. Not even a cart anywhere to be seen in the first floor hallway. I laid down and put up my do not disturb sign and after approximately 10 minutes the phone rang asking me if I want the room cleaned. Uh, not now, thank you. If need be I’d stay there again, but it won’t be first on my list.

I have been a Diamond member of Hilton for many years and have never been treated so poorly in my life. This hotel was price gouging because of a show downtown. I made my reservation more then a month ahead of time and this room was still $ 269 per night. When I checked in I asked the front desk if there was a lower rate and that I was a loyal customer and Diamond member. She stated that was the lowest price and she was going by the reservation. Ten minutes later as I was waiting in the lobby for my party, the front desk attendant answered a call and said«yes we have rooms, that will be $ 169 per night($ 100 cheaper then she charged me). This was for a person off the street. I then called Hilton Honors hot line and all they did was forward me to the girl at the front desk(who was worthless). The rumor is that Hampton Inn has a 100% satisfaction policy. Don’t believe it! The next morning I told them of my experience and all the hassles I went through. They did not care. They handed my receipt and my parting words were«I’ll see you at the Marriott’s. At least they treat their executive members with respect. Good Bye Hilton And the 2500 employees from the company I work for

I am used to staying near hotels by an airport. This one was ridiculously noisy. No attempt for hurricane or sound proof glass, and the flight patterns were all night long… never ever stay here or on this street for other hotels as they have to be similar!

My life these days has been nothing but travel. When one needs to rest, one stays at the Hampton Inn near the airport in Houston. A couple things to point out, this hotel has really comfortable beds and very spacious bathrooms. This Hampton Inn has events at night which gives you free beer. That’s pretty cool! On the downside, a colleague of mine needed a fridge in her room to store her food. She has certain dietary needs. The front staff was not responsive to her request. I never stayed at a hotel where the guests could not get a fridge. In addition, the pantry is super expensive. You should go to the Shell Station down the road if you get the munchies. At the end of the day, it’s a comfy hotel, maybe just not worth $ 199 per night.

Great Hampton Inn. It’s newly renovated. The biggest problem with this place is that there are no restaurants that deliver to it other than a jenky sounding chinese place and pizza. Not their fault, but it’s an issue.

Stuck in Houston? I have go the place for you! This is an excellent choice for an overnight near the Houston airport. It’s not scenic by any means but they have great rooms, service, and during the week, a nightly managers reception with hot food and cold beer. Wine also if you like that sort of thing. Breakfast is typical Hampton fare. Good but not great. Jack in the Box next door for a quick burger. I didn’t see anything else close by. Rooms are nice and are nicely upgraded for a Hampton Inn. Flat Screen TV’s are large. Bathrooms are also large. AC/Heating unit was not great. Room showed very minor signs of age. It’s not brand new, but still nice. Shuttle service to and from the Airport was quick. I called from the airport and they arrived in 10 minutes. It’s a 5 minute drive from the E terminal. Book here with confidence.

Looooooooooooooooud from the planes. Location is what does this place in. VERYVERYVERY loud. All day and night, VRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM from planes. Sleep like the dead, or be deaf. Otherwise, stay someplace else. Service was good, rooms were ok. The sound issues trump it all though.

Nice new and well appointed guest rooms. Parking is a little limited. Not as much noise from departing aircraft as I would have thought too. A very nice Hampton
