Either I loved their food because it’s amazing, or because I was sick. Just kidding, Ive had the phở before and it is the best Ive had. The rare beef is so fresh and tasty. The broth has so much flavor and the addins of jalapeño(very spicy and cleared me right up) and lemon added nice flavors. The staff is so friendly and patient. I also had half of a beef sandwich. I was blown away by the price and the flavor… bonus huh? For $ 3.99 I couldnt complain. Suggestion with the sandwhich, have phở to dip it in because I found the bread to be a little tough.

Nice little restaurant, very clean and bright. The beef phở was flavorful and the lunch specials were a good deal. I got a small beef phở, 1 shrimp spring roll and a can of soda for $ 7.99. The spring rolls were delicious, the wrapper was soft and fresh and the sauce was a good compliment to it. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Great small business!

This place was amazing. just happened to Unilocal it when i was on that side of town(westhimer/dairy ashford) and was not disappointed. Phở was phở-tastic, and my dining companion blown away by her banh mi. I would totally go to this place again. Helpful, nice wait staff. Good, casual dine in.

This place is pretty good. My family and I went 15 minutes before closing time & we asked if it was still okay to dine in. They gladly served us our food without no rude vibes. A lot of Asian places I go to a couple minutes before closing turn us down so I guess that’s one reason I enjoyed eating here other than their food. I ordered a combo phở, spring rolls and fried rice. All tasty! :)

My wife and I came to this place. Great service. 10 stars for food sensitivity. They know well that some people have food limitations so they tailor their food and soups. I ordered the phở with brisket steak and tripe and tendon. The tendon had a smell. Not very good. But the food was over all good. We also had the rolls with shrimp. Amazing. Overall okay food. Great service. But the restaurant smells like moth balls.

Im normally a huge fan of this place, but today i was pretty disappointed. I decided to order their bun bo hue(spicy beef noodle soup) because ive had it in the past at other restaurants, and i was very upset to find that their«bun bo hue» is very americanized and basically a tweaked version of their phở broth(but less flavorful) and that they just changed the type of noodles. There were no toppings that bun bo hue was known for, only thin slivers of beef. Long story short, dont have their bun bo hue its a waste of time. Stick to their phở, which they’re known for, and any other item. The staff was still very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is clean and its a very nice environment. The 2 stars is strictly towards their bun bo hue.

I have passed by Got Banh Mi & Phở many of times. I finally made a trip to eat there before heading to work. I had a feeling that this little spot on Westheimer would be tasty and authentic. Well guess what? It totally was! The Vietnamese food here is fresh and flavorful. I have only tried one item so far. but that ensures me that the other dishes are probably just as good. I’m a big fan of vermicelli bowls. They are light, crispy and fresh. Nothing greasy whatsoever about it. So that is what I had here for lunch. I placed an order on the tofu vermicelli bowl. It didn’t take long for them to cook it up — and it came piping hot to my table. The waiter was kind and friendly. she checked up on me a few times. I appreciated her service. Anyways, back to the food… my tofu bowl was crispy, savory, garlicky and full of flavour. Most Vietnamese joints do not cook their tofu the way this place does. It was out of this world good. I felt like I was eating chicken, in which case i’m sure their chicken and beef dishes are tasty as well. The portion of the rice noodles was not as large as other Viet places, but the savory tofu made up for it. Their were large slices of vegetables stir fried with the tofu, consisting of celery and carrot. I would have liked more fresh herbs on top of my meal as well. But all in all, I really enjoyed this dish. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu, such as the soft tofu rolls and seafood items. The café su da frappacino looks nice as well. Places such as this really define the diversity of the Houston culture. Until next time!

The egg rolls are sub par, but their Phở is phenomenal. It was a great experience and introduction to Vietnamese food.

OMG the best Phở that I have had. My friend ordered a shrimp dish and she loved it as well! Great flavor to the food and the shrimp is delicious. Great service and for the quality the price is on point. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis since it’s a healthy choice for my meal plan. You have to try this place.

I am really not a fan of any type of Asian food. My husband loves it though. Occasionally I’ll eat it, and this time I am so glad I decided to tag along with my husband. OMG this place is just fantastic. The prices, the service and the food were all top notch. First you must order the Thai Tea, wow it is insanely delish! We also had the spring rolls, veit egg rolls, pork ban mi, spicy phở and Bo la lac. It was all so good! The owner Andy is so nice and the rest of the staff is too. Go there right now! We are already planing to go back to try their beef stew which was sold out. I guess it is popular, perks my interest more.

Stop reading this review and just go over there already! What are you doing with your life? Seriously. GETOFFYOURBUTTANDGETTHERENOW! $ 3.99 for a chicken Bahn mi? Come on! I love whatever that creamy aioli they put in it. Throw in that cilantro and them carrots and you got a nice meal in a sammie! Thier combination bahn mi with grilled pork and chicken is incredibly popular! Super big Phở portions make it well worth the price too! Andy is my main man here. The place is nice and big, very well lit. I love this joint!

I have been to many different Phở places in Houston. The location on this place is great, since it is close to my house and plenty of parking space. I gave it a try because of the great reviews from other people on Unilocal, but I found this place to be my least Phở place to go. The broth taste watered down, barely taste any spices, and they skimped on the meat for e. g that the combo that I ordered only had three different types of meats. Very dissapointed when I saw that they sliced the beef balls so thin, at least give few half ones. The prices are expensive for Phở place, maybe because of the expensive location on Westheimer. For all the reasons I just mentioned I personally would not go back to this place and rather drive a little further to Chinatown to get better tasting Phở. I love Phở and I always will.

This place is great! A friend from work took me here and I was very impressed. The grilled pork bahn mi was outstanding, bread felt fresh and nicely toasted. Also had the egg rolls and they were amazing. My friend loves the rare meat phở, will try it next time. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Definitely will be going back soon.

This place has gotten my business 3 times in one week plus more! And two of those visits I went on the same day! That’s saying a lot coming from a Vietnamese born person. Although, I believe this place tends to cater towards the Americanized crowd that likes or wants to try Vietnamese food. The owner is always working front counter while his family work the kitchen, and he’s soo nice and friendly. Everything I’ve tried so far is pretty solid, obviously since I keep coming back. I really love this place, I hope my review persuaded you enough to try it if you already haven’t

When I first noticed this restaurant from Rewards Network, I thought the name was witty and the food must be delightful. And I was right. I happened to be hungry and have time to explore in this neighborhood. It was during happy hour — late afternoon before dinner time. I was happy because I was the only customer eating there, while other customers ordered take outs. Yup, that’s happy hour for me. The restaurant has a very unique layout, which made me feel more welcomed. It reminds me of an old town café — grocery store inside of a restaurant. Other Unilocalers called, «just like back home in Vietnam.» The menu items were kind of hard to follow for a hungry man like me. I spotted the beef stew below the usual phở items. I also ordered an 2 egg rolls for $ 1.99. The waiter explained to me that they don’t make Chinese style egg rolls in house; my best option was what locals eat. My tummy said«thank you» — after having these tender stewed beef with rice noodles. I was so full and barely touched the dessert. The soup base was kind of bland. The waiter suggested salt, pepper and Sriracha sauce got me worried. But I normally don’t eat heavily flavored food. My overall experience was pretty inviting and the bathroom was clean. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll try those locals’ favorites.

So we finally decided to try out this new restaurant because it’s so close to the apartment and we’ve been dying to find some place to have lunch when we’re too lazy to cook. We were happy with our decision! Being somewhat of a phở/banh mi/vietnamese food guru(more or less), I was pretty impressed that this little shop on Westheimer had pretty authentic and tasty Vietnamese food. Luckily, we came just in time for their lunch specials! It was $ 8.50 for a bowl of phở and a banh mi – which blew my mind — until it came out. The banh mi was tiny(like half the size of a regular banh mi tiny) but tasty. My boyfriend got another lunch combo that was $ 7.99 for phở, iced tea, and your choice of a spring roll or egg roll. The restaurant also had an open kitchen, which I really liked. We both agreed that the phở had probably one of the cleanest tasting broths I’ve ever had. It tasted really fresh and simple, but flavorful. We got the chicken and beef phở(phở ga & phở tai) and it comes with a pretty decent amount of noodles and meat. Unfortunately, the beef was drowning inside of the broth, instead of sitting nearly raw on top of the noodles like most places, so it ended up getting overcooked and tough really quickly. The tiny banh mi was pretty good too. The butter was different than the butter I’m used to in banh mi, it was a lot more like mayo and I didn’t like that. But overall, it was full with all the other stuff and totally worth it. My boyfriend also loved the egg roll that came with the lunch special. This place gets a 8⁄10 from me. The food was fresh and delicious. The lady that was helping us was nice. The place was cute and had a lot of traditional items displayed on a huge shelf. It was empty and quiet. We’ll definitely be back to take advantage of the lunch special!
