Foot Locker

Came in hopes of finding some nice kicks. I had been here before with my sister but not for myself. I saw they had a large variety so decided to come back. Keep in mind it’s about 45 min away from where I live.
When I arrived not even one person asked me if I needed help. There were about 4 employees on the floor and one doing nothing. I finally flagged one down. Asked if they had a specific shoe and told me no and walked away. I kept looking and had another question, again no one seemed to care. Flagged another person down that looked miserable to be at work. They told me they didn’t have the shoe I wanted. Customer service is key in retail/​shoe stores. If you feel welcomed, you will be back. I left pretty upset at the lack of help. Instead I went to lady’s foot locker upstairs and I must say day and night comparison! They were so helpful and searched to see what store had the shoe I wanted. They told me Foot Locker indeed had it. So had they lied to me!!!
This Foot Locker apparently doesn’t have store credit cards either. Came twice in one week and they didn’t have any. I’ll never be back here again.

Only gave them 1 star because I can’t give them 0 stars.
The customer service here is a joke. They’re horrible. All of the employees here are bitter and never smile.
I came in twice to try and return a shoe that I have never worn, and they insisted that I had worn them out. They told me I could exchange the shoes for store credit or get something else. I told them to give me store credit and they told me they were out of the gift cards to put store credit on.
I came back a week later just for them to tell me the exact same bullshit lie; they didn’t have any gift cards to give me store credit. They didn’t even suggest a solution to the issue.
Don’t plan on coming back here. Shame since the footlocker is so nice and located at a nice mall.

Employees are nice enough but it’s not worth a special trip. The stuff you’d expect them to have is sold out & the regular stuff has very low to zero stock.

Nothing here to see. Keep moving. Nothing you’d see here that you wouldn’t see at a normal Finishline, Footaction, Footlocker, Sheikh. TBH, I’ve heard– and from my own personal experience– they have a bunch of «stuff» in the back but if you ask for it, they «just ran out today.» I’m not salty but this HoH is probably the worst shoe retailer when it comes to getting in desirable shoes and «running out of them» — to be fair, my range of shoe shopping in real life are the shoe stores in the Galleria and First Colony Mall. «But it’s true, oh it’s true.» — Kurt Angle

Ever been to a shoe museum? Me neither. The house of hoops felt like a small shoe museum. You walk in and you see all these vintage and unique basketball shoes in various styles and colors. What makes it even feel more like a museum is some of the stuff is stored behind glass/​plastic cases so you can’t touch it.
There was stuff to buy but like a museum everyone I saw the day I came through was literally just window shopping. Walking and observing but not actually buying anything.
This place did get a smile out of me when they had a painting of Kenny «The Jet» Smith.

Grand Opening was today!
I have never heard of «House of Hoops», but I guess it is the brain child of Foot Locker. We took a look see at the going ons for their grand opening. The store is pretty small and sticks to a small collection of fairly rare basketball shoes and a store full of basketball gear (shorts, T-​shirts and jerseys). The staff was ubber nice, perhaps because of their grand opening and perhaps because the big wigs of Nike were there also to celebrate in the festivities. Another convenient factor is that It is directly attached to Foot Locker, so you can go back and forth between stores.
Need «kicks» or the latest and greatest «Jordan’s» then this place has it for ya! So come on down for some hoopin’ action.
