Dropped in for a quick lunch arriving at almost exactly at noon and found the small parking lot filled, with extremely narrow parking spaces I was unable to find a space to accommodate my extra large Toyota SUV rental so I found my way around the back of the tiny strip-mall with similar results, after maneuvering around I finally managed to wrestle the beast into a corner space. Thinking the restaurant would be over-run with hungry patrons we were quite surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty, all the high top tables were empty and only two of the other tables had customer sitting and no one had food in front of them. As strange as it seemed and after questioning our dining choice we decide to placed our orders and grab a seat. The restaurant was immaculate and the staff was extremely friendly and efficient, with little to do they all seemed to work well together and assembled the orders accurately and rather quickly being everything is cooked to order. A few of the employees were in front of the counter wiping down things and sweeping the floor, although this location has been open for a number of years it appeared brand new. Our number was called and the guy handing out the orders double checked the content of each bag making sure everything was correct. The food was freshly made and served hot. The three of us each had ordered the grilled hot dogs and fries and each order was wrapped in foil and identified with a number matching the receipt eliminating any confusion at the table. The three orders of fries were in cups each overfilled with what looked like another complete order dumped in the bag on top of the over-filled cups(you may want to consider ordering the smallest size and share, there were plenty for that). I like the selection of toppings but always found the absence of chili a little strange but the quality of the dogs and the way they split and grill them they are tasty without it. With the exception of the parking we thought it was a great experience at a reasonable price and definitely will return.

The Cajun fries are super salty so stick with their regular fries. They do give you alot so ordering a small is enough for 2 people. I have noticed that the meat is pretty dry… not like when they 1st opened here in the Houston area. I prefer What’s burger for a fast burger but 5 Guys would be my 2nd choice only because I don’t care for fast food burgers

We’ve been coming here regularly, but we arrived at 9:50 today to find the doors locked. The sign very clearly stated that they were open until 10. They guy inside was very clearly cleaning up and trying desperately to avoid making eye contact with us. This will make us opt for Whataburger(where the drive is double) each time.

The burgers are really good, small, but good. The Cajon fries are fantastic, but the price for what you get doesn’t line up. Would be higher rates if it wasn’t $ 15 for a burger, fries, and drink.

We were disappointed today in the food here. We’ve been coming here for years. Probably since it first opened. We have eaten at five guys in three different states multiple times. However, they shorted us on fries. Usually we have a hard time eating all of a Little Fries order. Today there was barely enough for one person. My husband had the two patties with mustard, lettuce and sautéed onions. The onions came out raw and ruined his entire meal. The Barq’s root beer tasted like diet. The mix was bad. If you want to five guys hamburger,. Don’t stop at this one

Five Guys has always been pretty consistent no matter which location I visit. At this particular location, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. You wait a little while for your food, but that’s expected. Overall good experience.

Stopped by Five guys because it was conveniently on my way to school and I figured it would be fast and taste better than fast food. I ordered the bacon and cheese hotdog with regular fries because I didn’t want something as heavy as a burger. My order did come out quickly but the taste of the food was unimpressive. The bun, which to me is just as important as the meat, was flavorless bread and fell right apart! The dog was grilled and cut down the middle with the cheese on the outside of meat on one side and the over cooked bacon on the other. The small order of fries is enough for three people to share, however there was nothing special about them either. I eat about 3 fries before deciding that they just were not tasty enough to be worth the extra calories and threw them out. I wish I would have made that same decision on the hotdog but I was really hungry! One would think if you added bacon and cheese to anything that it would be a for sure home run, but not in this case! Honestly, I would take SAMS Nathan’s hot dog plain any day over this one!

Delicious cheeseburgers! Free peanuts. They even let you draw pictures on a small note card with crayons.

I tried Five Guys expecting something different from general fast-food fare. I was probably naïve. The burgers are thin, well-done and served on a soggy bun(because they wrap every order in foil whether it’s to go or to eat in the restaurant.) The fries were and the free peanuts a nice touch. If you like McDonald’s, Burger King, Sonic, Wendy’s and so-on, you will probably like Five Guys as well, but in the end, it is just a slab of overcooked dry beef like you get at any of these places.

This one is for Reviewbrah. He recorded VORW Show 92 this week in segments. I was also on the Belgian model railroading imageboard he was posting on the night he finalized it. Some of the other posters were giving him a hard time which gave rise to his bad mood in the beginning segment of 92. 5 Guys(«5G») is one of his favorite things and favorite things of other people are always a nice thing to behold, so burgers will spread cheer this week for all(or for none, because if we spread good cheer to all then nobody will have it.) In his weird state back east they have«the best burgers and fries» and he gave them a 9.8 out of 10 on the ol’ rating scale. I was aware of 5G(both the burger & fries purveyor at bar as well as the disgusting sex perverts that show up in pornographic films when a hot lady or confused young man calls the plumbers over to fix the sink) but had never visited since it’s a chain and I had a pretty lengthy list of local burger joints to check out first. But the bacon burger made Reviewbrah existentially happy once upon a time so I decided I would try one too. I’m an impressionable youth and essentially just a latchkey kid if someone speaks to my inner Bobandy about burger related topics. Reading up on the biz beforehand I like that they do not have freezers in their franchises, just coolers. So nobody beats the meat of 5G since it is not frozen. Unlike Elevation there are no organic or free range options though it is just beef. I like that you can find out prices in advance if you ghost the order online screen — the bacon burger starts at $ 7.29 and a little cajun fry runs you $ 2.79. It’s casual and there’s no pretension since it has a sort of 1950s hometown diner feel, it’s an open air kitchen with a low counter so you can stare straight back at the people making your food. There’s a tiny parking lot at this one with a lot of parking spots blocked off for the other businesses in the strip mall, but since it’s five minutes away from my house it was the closest one. They were not open precisely at 11am like they claimed they would be, we had a queue outside well into 11:03am before the door was unlocked. The wait time is 10 – 15 minutes for your food to be made to order(even if you order online they won’t cook the fries until they see your beautiful face sashay in through the front door.) Rabble rabble rabble minor logistical complaints. A review of 5G food in two acts today, starting with the Cajun style fries: Petrol Station’s fries were hella disappointing last week but the Rancor was so good it didn’t rustle my jimmies too briskly. Meanwhile 5G Cajun fries are off the chain for a chain joint. They’re not spicy by any means, it’s supes weak compared to Ville Platte’s fabulous Slap Ya Mama cajun seasoning but they are pretty well seasoned, essentially one less shake than Fuddruckers does with their fries. There’s enough seasoning you can even see it on the little drink cup they serve the fries in. This isn’t going to impress with you heat but the actual texture, stiffness, and overall mouth feel of the fries does win out against anything else you can find in a chain joint. What’s better, this location follows true to form by adding in fries at the bottom of the bag. They are supposed to do this. It’s not an accident, it is lovely and a nice little touch of kindness in a cruel world. Bag fries statistically taste better than the fries out of the cup, since they were served with extra love. It’s science, don’t argue with me, Linda. On the Bacon burger you can go all the way(ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms) or you can customize more. I figure there’s less chance for mistakes to keep it simple so I just had them go all the way. The grilled onions and grilled mushrooms are just amazeballs — onions and mushrooms pair together nicely as two of my favorite things to get some Shrek flavor juxtaposed with the boomers. But since only few burger joints have the grilled mushrooms option in addition to grilled onions, I am in grilled heaven right about meow. The rest of the burger takes nothing away from my burger pleasure. The burger patties are a little smaller than I had imagined and a little bland, but as long as you don’t eat it dry you won’t actually notice. If you get it all the way the ketchup, mayo, and veg add some distraction to the patties so already it’s not a big hit that 5G doesn’t do to patties what Old Fashion and other god-tier local burger joints do. The bacon adds in so much sensual, smokey flavor the slightly bland patty profile melts away into the ether and you are left with quite a nice bacon burger at that point — add the mushrooms and onions and you are the new mayor-sheriff of Flavor Town, baby.

Super fast, clean, and the guys that work there are friendly. It’s a fast food joint so don’t go in expecting table service. I got a «little» bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was significantly better than the other fast food chains. If you’re in the area and wanting a fast food type burger this is the place to go.

Loved my bacon cheeseburger it was cheesy and juicy and the bacon was so nice and crispy just how I like it just wish the burgers were a bit bigger the fries were ok not the best but also not the worst, my husband and I will definitely be going back to this place again

Phenomenal burgers for a «greasy spoon» joint. Just wish they had shakes. Go down the street(one block) to The Counter. Bigger variety of fries & cheese for burgers at around the same price. I’m not knockin’ Five Guy’s, but a better burger place is next door.

This is one of the most revolting, greasy burger joints I’ve ever seen. Burgers are fried side by side on the same grill with the bacon, so tough luck to those who don’t eat pork(observant Jews and Muslims beware, your beef is swimming in pork lard). Also tough luck for those who avoid bacon for health reasons: even if you don’t order the bacon, you’re getting a huge serving of bacon grease trust me. Uncomfortable unpadded chairs. Rude unpleasant staff. This place is utterly without redemption. AVOID.

I have this problem. When I’m hungry, I just CANNOT make food decisions. And for some reason, yesterday when I was leaving work, I was FAMISHED. Text messages start flying: «What should we do for dinner?» «I don’t know, what do you want to do?» «Wanna meet somewhere? Should I pick something up?» Three text messages in and I realized this would not end well. My last, pleading text: «I’m so hungry, please just tell me what I’m eating.» LOL So a decision was made. «Why don’t you pick up Five Guys? Hot dog, just mustard for me.» I was relieved that a decision was made, but also kinda disappointed, because I had never been a fan of Five Guys. After making a fuss about not making a decision, though, I wasn’t going to push back. So I begrudgingly asked, «Are the hot dogs good? I’ve never had them. Do you want fries?» I was assured that the hot dogs are delicious, and that I would love the Cajun fries. So there you had it. I Unilocal’d the nearest Five Guys, found this one on my way home from work, and called them while I mapped my way there. A super nice lady talked me through my order. I was pretty close by the time I got off the phone with her, but by the time I walked in the door, the hot dogs were already on the griddle. I paid, and just a few short minutes later was out the door with two hot dogs and some awesome smelling fries(that I ate all the way home). Yum! My boyfriend got his with just mustard, but I loaded mine up. Mustard, relish, hot sauce, jalapenos, grilled mushrooms and grilled onions. It was SOOO good. So, I guess it turns out that I really DO like Five Guys. Maybe I’m just not a big fan of their burgers.

When I want a burger this is my go to spot. Fast service, friendly staff and the ingredients always taste super fresh! Free peanuts too! I know there are nicer places to get a burger out there but combined with convenience, five guys is my favorite. Pro tip: the little size is actually pretty big

This place always puts out a consistently decent burger. Prices are good and you get a good sized meal. David and I both usually get the little cheeseburger and share a medium sized cajun fries. This last time I went, I was starving, so I really appreciated their complimentary peanuts! On a previous trip here, I wanted to substitute lettuce for the bun, but was sorely disappointed since it was just 1 measly piece of thin lettuce on either size of the burger. So this time I just went for the bun. I only wish they had the option to add a fried egg!

Ok so I decided to check this place out Sunday and expected a crowd; however when I got there, the place was empty. I was a little worried. I looked over the menu, made my way to the counter & was asked if it was my first time(yes). The young lady explained to me that the«little burgers» were single patty burgers while the regular burgers were all double patty burgers. She went on to explain that all toppings listed in black are the normal or «all the way» toppings while the ones listed in red were additions that could be added. Armed with my necessary info, I ordered the Little Cheeseburger, no mushrooms, add regular onions also(comes with grilled, and I wanted both) plus I ordered a small order of fries all to go. My total came out to a little over $ 7 which didn’t seem too bad. They have huge boxes of peanuts with a scoop and paper basket you can scoop up to eat while you wait. The peanuts were good, and the wait was pretty short; plus you have a clear view of the kitchen and can see them making your burger fresh. I had a fry on the way home, and it was pretty good; my only problem is they were kinda soft, not really even crispy but totally tolerable. So let me tell you about this burger: it was HUGE! I couldn’t open my mouth wide enough to take a bite; I don’t know if I am too keen on this cuz I had to smoosh my burger town(LOL, seriously) to take a bite. OMG, plus they gave me an enormous amount of fries(which I could not finish) The burger was very tasty, juicy, not messy; I could not find the actual flavor of the grilled onions which was a slight disappointment but not a deal breaker. All in all, I would have to say Five Guys is pretty good, not the best, but definitely not bad at all. I will return again.
