Firestone Complete Auto Care

I have never written a review for an auto shop before, but I wanted to give this Firestone location props for a job well done.
My husband always brings his work vehicle here for service, since it’s the closest Firestone to our house, and he knows/​trusts their work. Last week, my car started having engine issues, so we brought it in on a busy Saturday to get a diagnosis. They were prompt to check it out, calling us less than two hours later to let us know the issue. It was going to be a $ 250 fix, and they recommended a couple other things to get done at the same time. We told them just go with the $ 250 fix, and that we would come back for the rest. When we went to pick up the car, (done about three hours later), there had been a miscommunication about the work to be done, and they had done everything, not just the $ 250 fix — total would have been about $ 650. They apologized profusely and ended up knocking $ 150 off the total price for the miscommunication.
I would give them five stars, but since there was the miscommunication in the first place, I suppose that wouldn’t be accurate. But overall, an efficient location with friendly people.
