We couldn’t find parking, so I came inside and the owner personally moved her car for us. The wait for food was quick, and there were plenty of seats to choose from. The Vegan options are abundant and the food is delicious! We ordered Veggie pasta, Veggie lasagna, Veggie bean soup and a Vegan chocolate cake. Prices are reasonable, also. It is a great place!

Not sure what all hype is about this place — I have tried their food couple times, different food everytime but did not like any of them — they are all bland and have no taste. This might be good for people who are meat eaters or like meat but want to be vegetarian but if you are a vegetarian and genuinely do not like eating meat(like me) the food is not that good.

First time here I had the spinach enchiladas, and this time a green bean hummus wrap. Both were delicious. I would go with sweet potato fries next time and skip the side salad.

The California vegan sandwich & vegan broccoli coconut milk soup were delish. The fries & portobello burger my friend ordered were also yum. They have a deal where you buy a gift card for $ 50 worth $ 60 and you can use it that first time you purchase anything. Liked the vibe and the attendant/owner? was super nice to explain every dish and ingredients. A definite must go for vegans.

Every time I come it’s nice and quiet. The food comes out fast and the menu is pretty big… I always get the spinach enchiladas and since it’s always empty parking is nice

I had some kind of BBQ burger. It was great for not having meat. I am a fan of vegan and vegetarian dishes but haven’t found a good go-to burger joint for it. I also got tofu fries that I read were pretty good, but I wasn’t a fan… I didn’t know what to dip them in. ketchup didn’t feel right. So they’re just fried pieces of tofu with seasoning on top. I would just get potato fries next time :) overall, I’d come back!

Love this spot great for vegans and vegetarians I like the macrobiotic plate and the eggplant Parmesan. People should know there is no meat at this spot. Food is always consistently good

I’ve been coming here for years and love the many menu choices. It’s always a delight because at «regular» restaurants you have so few(and always the same) options for vegan/vegetarian meals. I’ve tried many dishes here, but often come back to the tofu fries & avocado/tabouli sandwich. I just love it! It’s a simple, no frills place with friendly service. Parking can be challenging sometimes.

I looooove the tofu fries! Crispy and delish. They are always helpful with questions about the menu and the food looks and tastes very fresh. I am a big fan of the macrobiotic platter(love the tofu quiche!) and the raw veggie rainbow(think plate of veggies that you make into tacos with romaine leaves). Both come with a great mix of colorful, delicious food. I have had a lot of their menu items and they’ve always been very tasty!

Great place for vegetarians/vegans. My wife and I have been eating at Field of Greens for years. I really like the vegan village tofu burger. Pretty much everything on the menu is great. Their tabouli and falafel are not really up to par with other restaurants in Houston, but pretty much everything else I’ve ever had there has been very good. Depending on what you order, you may get a really big portion, or you may be looking at your neighbor’s plate in envy. I usually get a sandwich and fries, and that’s a pretty safe bet. The tofu fries are also worth trying. Not the best food in Houston, but a very good place to get fresh vegetarian/vegan food. Parking is sometimes a hassle, but it won’t kill you to walk a little bit. Go and try the vegan village tofu burger. Good sandwich.

So many different veg foods! The macrobiotic thing satisfies my vegan desires, and so do all the delicious combinations. Especially the added raw desserts. We really need to get more greens in our body. It wasn’t very dark in here due to the glass walls. Bar chairs and regular chairs available. I wanted to get raw food, but they were all out. I hope the next time I come here I can get them. But who cares, because their cooked ones are pretty good too. I believe that you have to go up to the cashier to order though. Certainly different compared to the ones I go to which give us a menu at the table. Makes it kind if hard because there’s a lot of variety.

I love the choices! no complaints. I love going to a place where they label the choices plainly for all to see. as a vegan I care if the sauce has honey since that is an animal sourced item. I do not eat it. thanks for being here. waiting now for the food. the presentation was wonderful even for take out but the best part is this…, even cold the eggplant dish was awesome! great find in Houston. another reason to return without the stress of carting food or only going to whole foods grocery due to lack of choices

Yum, Yum Where I typically go for a nice vegan bbq sandwich!!! It’s my absolute fave then pop over next door for a cup of tea. These two are both in the perfect spot so they compliment each other very well! Try this place out, you will not be disappointed! I loveeeeeeeeeeee Field of Greens!!!

Great Vegan food! Plain décor set up like a café. I had spinach enchiladas, my husband enjoyed the tamale platter which was spicy. The staff was very nice. The smoothies are a little pricey, but we’re delicious enough for me to come home and replica it. We will def be back, as is important for us to support small vegan restaurants

Pretty decent little café that is all vegan except for two seafood dishes and a few dishes on the kid’s menu! One of those places where you have to find what you like, because not everything is very good. I’m a big fan of the seaweed club and the California Club, but haven’t been impressed by many of the other sandwiches. I’m a BIGFAN of their tofu fries. A lot of healthy options, but not everything is very flavorful.

My go to burger place. The service is decent and aesthetically, there’s a bit much to be desired, but their sandwiches are great! Omnivores and herbivores are all welcome. My favorite sandwich is the Vegan Village Tofu Burger, but the Eden Burger is really good too. Love their sweet potato fries. They have a really extensive menu, so your choices will not be limited. I would definitely recommend coming here. For what they lack in aesthetics, they make up in really good food ;)

I really like this place. The sandwiches are awesome. Minus 1 star for ambience and aesthetics. Try ALL the sandwiches. I have never had anything I didn’t really like. The mock meat is not too«mocky» so I love that. Their fries are also PHENOMMMMMM. Like so freaking good. Even the salad is awesome. My kids love it as well. A tad pricey IMO, but hey, their rent must be pretty high. And the food is solid. Its just dingier than I prefer.

First off, the actual name of the restaurant is Field of Green’s. Why is there an apostrophe there!!! Anyway, I was previously familiar with Field of Greens when my sister was a vegetarian, but that was years ago. One of my vegetarian friends was in town, so what better opportunity to refresh my memory about Field of Greens than to come with her! Everything except for 2 items(both fish) are vegetarian, and items with non-vegan ingredients are marked on the menu, so this is a super convenient option for vegan folks. If you’d like, you can ask for your meal to be served next door at The Path of Tea, or you can simply call ahead and take it home. I got the Eden Burger, which is «chicken» with bean curd, vegetables, and a barbecue sauce, served with some fries. I have to say, I really enjoyed the burger — it was quite filling with some good flavors, and I didn’t really notice any off-putting textures. The burger probably could have used a little more barbecue sauce, but that was pretty much my only complaint. Field of Greens is a pretty no-frills restaurant, but the prices are pretty affordable, especially for a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. While it’s not on my list of places I HAVE to eat at, it’s a very welcome option when dining with vegetarian friends.

This place is pretty great. It feels so nice walking into a restaurant with an extensive vegan menu. Even the healthier restaurants always seem to have way more vegetarian options than vegan options. I still feel overwhelmed looking at the menu! I’ve been here twice now. The first time, I tried the lasagna. I remember when the lady brought out my plate of lasagna and salad that the smell was amazing. I sat there smelling it for a bit before eating it. I remember it tasting pretty good. When I had it, it had vegan cheese, but it doesn’t seem to have that now. I think that’s awesome because I don’t really care for vegan cheese. The side salad was good. I felt satisfied after finishing all the food, but I decided to indulge in the vegan carrot cake. It was delicious! The second time, I asked the cashier if they had raw options. She pointed out the several raw options on their menu. They don’t focus on raw food, so I was happy that they had a few options for me to choose from instead of just one. She was super nice! She suggested I try Pat Greer’s Kitchen and asked me about my diet. She was very patient while I took my time picking what to order. I decided on the Raw Vegetable Rainbow. It came with big scoops of different vegetables, guacamole, pico de gallo, and tabbouli, with a side of big leaves of romaine lettuce. I made a lettuce wrap with a bunch of the different things on my plate. Then I had to rush home, so I had to pack it up and take it home. My box got a bit jumbled during my rush, so all of the things got mixed together by the time I was able to sit down and eat it. It still tasted really good. When I finished, I felt satisfied. The prices are slightly higher than what I like to pay for a meal, but I don’t currently know of any other place that has such an extensive vegan menu. And their dishes leave me feeling satisfied, not hungry or too full. When I’m not totally raw, I want to try more of their food. The cashier told me they have free wifi, and she’s incredibly friendly!

How have I not been to this place? I randomly needed something for dinner and decided to try this place out having no idea it was vegan/Vegitarian. I got the lasagna to go and was pleasantly surprised. The place was empty but my meal was ready in about 5 min. The main courses come with a side salad. My veggie lasagna was perfect. Light but hearty. I love that there was no cheese or noodles, yet I did not feel deprived at all. The home made marinara sauce is great. I was very happy with all the flavor which was unexpected. I will be back again for some low carb«pasta». Great place to get something healthy on the run.
