I stopped by because I happened to be in the area so I decided to stop by and order my favorite dish Poblano Chicken. This location was very clean and the staff was very attentive. I was really excited when my meal arrived but I was quickly disappointed when I took my first bite. The sauce was runny which really surprised me because it’s my favorite. Maybe the kitchen was having an off day. I’m not sure if I can order this dish from this location but I will stop by again if I’m in the area.

I should have read reviews first. The soup was bland and the nachos were soggy. I’ll never return. The service was ok, but nothing to brag about. This is not Tex mex, but more out of cans and frozen. I had appetizers and they were disappointing too.

Awesome environment, great food, fantastic service, what a great place to kick back, have a beer and watch the game! Thanks to leah, the manager, for making the experience that much better! Cheers, go Texans!

If you have a party of more than 6 then stay away especially if one is handicapped. It’s difficult for them to get in and around the facility. The people including the manager were extremely rude and didn’t care if you did business there or not… will not return ever again!

The charro beans are not. The refried beans are disgusting. The rice is tasteless. And they treat their employees like slaves. They will never get anymore of my money.

Haven’t ventured much on this menu here but the fajita taco salad is delicious. Pretty close to my house, usually call in on my way home from work & pick up.

I was very disappointed in their fajitas. Cheese and sour cream was extra, no bell peppers with the fajita for two. Had to get our own drinks and all we had was water! I would never recommend this place to anybody! Very expensive for what you get. VERYDISAPPOINTED! !!

Staff was very friendly. I ordered a Beefalupa(I think), food was over all bland and the meat was chewy and tasteless. Not to mention the fact that I paid for it again a few hours later in the little boys room.

This place is not bad at all. Although it comes across almost like a fast food place to me. The food is good service is adequate. The Sandbox is a really great idea although for me it poses lots of problems when eating with children. You always have sand in the hair, face, hands exc… that’s not really what you want when you’re trying to eat. And if you’re eating anywhere near the sandbox you can pretty much bet you will get sand in your food. But if you were dining inside then the place is pretty normal. It is what I would expect it to be.

Food is always amazing. Chicken breast topped 6 different ways but all are good !! A little weird walking in and ordering than after seated a server confirms your order. Should just take yah order at the table.

Service was very slow. Two other couples were there. The redfish special was very old. Vegetables were dry. The fish smelled fishy. No flavor.

Just left Willies after sitting on the patio waiting for service for over 15 minutes. The waitress seemed intent on ignoring us. She brought chips & took the order slip of a table that got there before us. She didn’t even bother to get ours & she looked right at me. When she came back she asked another table if they wanted their check [they’ve been sitting there with dirty food plates since we got there]. I was having a relaxing time with my youngest son so I didn’t worry. I see her go to another part of the patio, come back to the table she already took their order & then go to the table of 2 women who came in after us. I looked at my cell phone to give her another couple minutes. Did I mention she was working hard at ignoring us? After a few more minutes I notice the ladies that came in after us already have their chips. We leave our drink & order slip on the table. Once inside the waitress sees us but again ignores us. I wanted to let the person at the order counter know why we were leaving but no one was there. Got to my car looked back at our table but the waitress still hadn’t appeared. My whole family went here a couple weeks ago & had excellent service, gave the guy a huge tip & let the manager know. That is the only reason they got 2 stars. This visit was a zero. Won’t be going back for a very long while.

Been passing by this place for 12yrs… finally decided to check it out! Food was good. kinda expected the way it would be from a Tex-Mex place. portion sizes are big, so it will satisfy your appetite! Restaurant wasn’t in the best shape though. chips all over the floor, tables were not in the best shape. felt like they were short staffed! Recommend if you are in the area and in mood for Tex mex!

Strange service routine.(You order at a counter… take your filled out ticket to a waitstaff member, then it’s like a normal restaurant) Our server was a decent waiter, but the whole ordeal seemed bizarre. Both the salsa AND the queso were EXTREMELY bland. The warm salsa(temperature wise) is a good touch, but it lacked ANY hotness. The fajitas: The beef tasted more«grease like» and disgusting than a LOT I’ve had.(this is DEFINITELY not the place to go for beef fajitas!) The chicken(and I normally don’t get chicken) were actually not too bad. This place reminds me a WHOLE lot of Chachos in San Antonio.(but not exactly) The food is WAY-WAY overpriced for the quality you get. I’m about as white as a white boy can be, but I’m starting to wonder if ANYBODY in Houston has decent salsa. A couple of places I’ve been, it’s almost tomato sauce like. :/

Went there before and food was decent so decided to go back. Went there 2 days ago and order chicken enchiladas and they were absolutely disgusting! Waiter took forever to bring the check. Had to go to counter and ask someone to call our waiter. Won’t be going back. 1 star down for food and 1 for the waiter.

Not bad, but definitely not the best Tex Mex I’ve had. I enjoyed my meal, the beefalupa, and my family always loves the fajitas. I was not impressed with the margaritas, however. As far as atmosphere goes, it’s a great place for families, great pricing, casual, and the outdoor seating is perfect for those breezy summer nights.

This is my first time trying Fajita Willies after passing by this place numerous of times. I was hoping for this place to be like Chuys but it’s not. The ordering process was similar to taco cabana. You order your food at the front counter that’s located to the right when you enter the place. Then you find a seat and the waiter will take the paper with your order on it. I gave my waiter the paper and she either forgot water was written on the paper or didn’t see water written on the paper. We were given fresh chips and salsa. I liked the chips a lot. My boyfriend wasn’t used to hot/warm salsa. The salsa was alright. Not the best salsa. I ordered the beef taco salad, Texas tea with the option btw salt or sugar rim, and my boyfriend ordered the chicken terciopelo. The beef taco salad was good! Although some of the beef did have a burnt taste to it. The Texas tea had a slight alcohol taste but not so much. Not strong at all. They forgot the sugar rim. Kind of a waste of money to get. I recommend people to order margaritas instead. My boyboyfriend enjoyed his meal. He really liked the creamy sauce on his chicken. It was good and flavorful. Overall, it was an okay experience. I would return to try more of their menu and drinks.
