Great neighborhood bar! Lots of friendly regulars and cheerful bar staff. After a few visits you feel like part of the family. Great prices on drinks. Live bands, pool, shuffle board, darts, a dance floor, smoking patio and karaōke are just some of the things this little bar with a big heart has to offer.

Meh. It’s okay. Decent prices and homey feel. The karaōke guy is pretty unprofessional and kept complaining to me about the customers and ownership. It’s definitely a local dive bar, but that’s about it. I probably won’t seek it out again.

Houston Live Stock and Rodeo is coming! Yeah! I am a member of the ticketing committee. I attended a social meeting there. This restaurant was located around the Houston Korean Asian town area. After I saw a lot of Korean characters in Long point street. I found this old cowboy style bar. Rodeo is a still some white cow boy’s culture. Actually, after Asians took this area, this bar looked like«White guys reservation’.LOL!!! When I entered the bar, someone called me“Hey Mark!» It was easy for me to find my group. I started eating a typical Texas BBQ like beef, bread, beans, pickles. I was comparing Korean BBQ and Texas BBQ. Korean BBQ is with rice. Texas BBQ is with bread. Today, Texas cowboy BBQ beat Korean Gumnam style BBQ. I went outside. I saw a lot of old men and motorcycle. I said! Honda!!! They said” Haley Davidson’. Exactly. They were right. This Japanese man was wrong. The guys looked like«Duck Dynasty’s members». I mean long beard and some cap. I needed to bring my horse cap instead of my cowboy hat. I became the king of «horse dynasty».Yes.2014 is a year of horse in Chinese zodiac. I hope that many Asians enjoy Rodeo this year! yeah!!!

This place is where the haves and have nots of Spring Branch and Memorial share the same bar so it makes for great people watching. It is the kind of place you go after Moms Night Out for one or two more drinks, or its the place to go to have one last drink while to wait to make sure the babysitter puts the kids to bed so you don’t have to. It is also the place that has permanent human fixtures like out on the smoking patio. The owner is a friendly Asian woman and the bartender is some middle aged guy who is always wearing a Hawaiian shirt but he pours with a heavy hand! The drinks ate cheap too. For the less adventurous try going when they have a band. The bands are surprisingly good as they are made up of doctors and lawyers and a band usually brings along with them ttheir friends and family. Faces also has Karaōke which is not too bad but it brings out the regulars. They also have a digital juke box. This places reminds me of the Marquis but Faces has better restrooms. Apparently they serve food too. Stop by this place on your way back from dinner or if you need a night away from the excitement of City Centre.
