I was looking for something different to eat that was close by and this fit the bill. I never had edamame before since I’m not a fan of sushi bars, but it was surprisingly tasty. I also had one of their chicken rice noodle bowls. It was alright. I think it could use a little more work, and the sauce they give you is too sweet. I enjoy the fact that they have other sushi besides the raw fish ones. One of these days, I think I might try the fruit sushis.

Just tried this place since there was an advertisement in the elevator of my building and I was not impressed. I got the miso avocado shrimp soup which wasn’t bad but I felt it was missing something. Maybe some veggies or tofu would have done the truck. I got the shrimp tempura, shaggy dog, and crunch rolls to sample. I like the idea of being able to try small portions but all were subpar to even Grocery store sushi. The crunch roll tasted extremely fishy and not fresh, the avocado had browned. The crab on the shaggy dog was also not fresh. Maybe it’s because of the wrapping.
I may try the summer rolls just to give the place another chance but I’m in no hurry.
