Edible Arrangements

I cannot believe how unprofessional this business is. We received a message during the evening hours that we had a delivery from them. I called the next morning, at a reasonable hour, and they said the arrangement would be delivered some time during the day. I was told I needed to be home to receive it and that they could not narrow down the time any further than «sometime today.» At 5 pm, there was still no delivery. I called the store and they said I wouldn’t be getting the delivery until after 7 pm because of how busy they were. Why wasn’t I informed that in the morning when I called? The person on the phone acted like I was being unreasonable for asking what the latest time the delivery would be. I have a child in school and I don’t want my doorbell ringing all hours of the night. She refused to give a cut off time and after that, I didn’t even want the arrangement. Way to ruin what should have been a nice surprise.

«I’m trying to eat healthier. More fruits, vegetables, that kind of thing,» said my coworker as she took another bite out of her bean and cheese burrito, salsa dripping out the other end.
My cube farm neighbor’s birthday was coming up. What do I buy her that says «We’re not that close, but I want to get on your good side since we spend upward of 40 hours per week together»? Something sweet yet within her self-​imposed dietary restrictions, of course.
The Edible Arrangements website says that they offer boxes of chocolate-​dipped fruit with as few as six pieces, but these cannot be ordered online. The Rice Village location is closest to my office, but lunchtime traffic in that area is more congested than a sinus infection. I was pleased to discover that this Meyerland location had parking for days.
If I recall correctly, I was given the option of choosing any combination of strawberries, apples and bananas for the six-​piece box. Reflecting my interest level, I naturally ordered the «whatever» configuration. Fifteen minutes later, I had my box of good office karma for the price of ~$ 14. I’ll be sure to order in advance by phone next time because instant gratification.
I never bothered following up, but my coworker probably liked her gift. She now swings by my cube every Thursday morning and we discuss how hot Donna was in the previous evening’s episode of Suits. Mission accomplished in my book.

The edible arrange store in Meyerland area was Wonderful. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knows how to make the customer feel welcomed. I needed a Boss’s Day gift and was unsure of what type of arrangement to order for my Boss. The staff member make several of suggestions which were right on point.
I ordered the arrangement at the end of day after 4pm and was able to pick up the arrangement that afternoon. This place was awesome!!! Thanks for making my Boss Day special.

The arrangements are so beautiful that you don’t even want to eat them, but they’re very very yummy!!!
