I really want to give this place 3-stars because saying«Yay! I’m a fan» of a funeral home isn’t exactly easy. I mean, who wants to say they are a fan of a funeral home? But I can’t deny that they really helped us out when we needed it. With a death in the family we found ourselves discussing matters with a director here. We’ve never done this before and were totally confused. The director we worked with here, Kim, was very nice and helped to explain options. That’s the first big plus. The next big plus is that the company itself has many packages to help you deal with this. They give you a package that will help you hold receipts and tax information. They do a lot of the leg-work for anything else you need such as communicating with the life insurance company, with the VA if you are going to bury at a national cemetery, or even helping to put notices on the deceased’s credit transactions to help prevent fraud. I think these things are probably the most important since one might not think of them while grieving. This is a review that nobody wants to do obviously, but death is part of life. We just really appreciated their help because we surely needed it!
