This is the Taco Bell of Mediterranean food. People are nice however.

Had the gyro again. The pita continues to be as dry and seemingly stale as all the other times I have been there no matter what I order. I go there with a friend of mine. If it wasn’t for him I would never go. It’s really difficult to get past stale tasting pitas.

I work downtown and frequent Droubi’s in the tunnels a few times a year. Their veggie plate is pretty decent but their gyro’s are something to pass up. The pita bread is cold and stale. Each time I’ve gone the bread has been ice cold and hard. The hummus is alright, it seems to be bland as well. Price is decent, service can’t complain but as far as flavor — bland.

I believe this is the tunnel location in the downtown tunnel loop, in case you were wondering. I have eaten here a lot, since I work downtown. Overall, I would say that the food here is pretty average. I generally get the vegetarian plate, which is a little bit of everything veg, without resorting to being a salad. Speaking of which, I really do not like that their sandwiches, like the gyro, come with salad. Bleh. The falafel from here is pretty good and I like their baba ganoush and hummus. I’ve had the shawarma and it is OK as well. The dining room can get filled up really fast, so get there earlier, if you want to eat there. You can always get the food to go and eat somewhere else or take it back to your desk. I also wish I could get different sized drinks, but a lot of places downtown do the one size drink fits all. I guess it cuts costs.
