There seems to be a lack of consistency the last three times I’ve visited this establishment, on and off, either the cupcakes were really good and moist or the cupcakes are dry. Today, picked up the butter cake cupcakes and it is not butter cake, this is definitely yellow cake. It’s hard to support local small businesses for reasons such as this. Small businesses can’t afford to have too many inconsistencies in the quality of the products or services

I wish I could give more stars. I love supporting locally owned businesses so I wanted to check these guys out. Stopped by 12⁄23 at about 2pm and the young lady was very courteous and helpful in describing the cupcake flavors of the day. Mind you they were on a large cooling rack, unlabeled, so remembering what was what was challenging. They also have cookies so I ordered four of those(two chocolate chip and two sugar) and 3 cupcakes(a plain vanilla, a carrot and one with the m&ms/cookie on top). The sugar cookies were weirdly«unsugary» because they used powdered sugar on top instead of granulated sugar. Definitely a miss, but the chocolate chip cookies were spot on and executed well – chewy and golden brown. The cupcakes were lackluster and inconsistent. The carrot was the standout, being moist and delicious, yet really small. It wouldn’t even fit in the cupcake holder but instead fell below it(??). The vanilla was ok – the cake part was not very flavorful and a little dry and the icing was a little like«cool whip” — also not much sweetness. The m&m/cookie cupcake was again ok, but the toppings provided much needed sweetness this time around. Still not anything extraordinary. Hopefully, with the addition of display cases with labels for the cookies and cupcakes and better execution of the recipes, this cupcake boutique should do well against the other mainstays.

The cupcakes were so good they didn’t survive my kids long enough for me to get a picture! The cupcakes were the perfect size, moist and so fresh. We will be back. It’s the perfect special treat for the kiddos and at the right price. We had the butter pecan, strawberry, red velvet and strawberry… Yum, yum, yum…

I was very disappointed. Yes, the cupcakes are pretty to look at, but were dry, refrigerated and not fresh. I was told that my cupcakes had been cooked that morning which I could tell was a huge lie. The icing was fresh, soft and whipped, but the cupcakes weren’t moist and rich like I expected.

«Did I die and go to cupcake heaven?» I said to myself. It certainly felt that way when I had their m&m cupcake with a cookie on top. The frosting was great, not too sweet, just right. And they are $ 2.00 Next time you want to get your cupcake on… go to Cupcake Kitchen.

Cupcakes are beautiful but very dry. I purchased key lime, banana pudding, strawberry short cake, and lemon. The flavors were good but I needed milk to get the cake down.
