Beautiful cakes! Chef Nguyen obviously uses high quality ingredients. The way she dropped it off at my apartment complex made me feel like we lived in a small town right here deep in the city. The cake itself was on the dense side versus light and fluffy so be aware if you’re picky about that. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if the chef offered to bake it up a bit different(although I like it as it came with rich flavor). I had asked for the strawberry buttercream with no special instructions. Again, very impressed.

I was in Houston visiting some family for an important birthday. We were looking for bakeries and ran across this new gem. Definitely not your run of the mill grocery store cakes, these are the real deal. We got a lot of props for picking up a cake here too because everyone absolutely loved the taste and the design was really cool too. Try this one out, it’s awesome. Lots of selections too.

I found out about Crème through my alumni network, so I went to their site(which has some delicious-looking photos of food, check it out). The website is great — you can order all kinds of baked goods, but what I really liked was how you can customize your cupcakes — there are minis, regular and large. You get to pick cake flavor, frosting flavor, filling flavor, FROSTINGCOLOR, and sprinkle color. So cool. On to the food — I ordered a bunch of stuff for a meeting and it was delivered earlier today. Here’s what I got and how it tasted in order of deliciousness: 1. Raspberry Macarons: Normally, I’m pretty blah about macarons. These macarons were incredible. Fluffy and delicious. We went through all of them in about 2 minutes. 2. Chocolate Mini Cupcakes: These had a surprise raspberry filling! They also went quick — a big hit at my office. 3. Vanilla Mini Cupcakes: They had a surprise apricot filling! And I liked the icing! I’m kind of picky about vanilla icing and this was the exact right amount of sweetness. So good. 4. Chocolate Chip Cookies — Very good, and had a nice amount of chocolate chips in them. I hate when you get a cookie and there are only 5 chocolate chips. These were a good consistency and well chipped. 5. Madeleines: Lately, I’ve been picking up madeleines from Starbucks and Whole Foods, and they have been kind of dry and dense. These were clearly made from scratch — fluffy, moist, really good. This guy I work with who never likes anything took a bite and said«These are not bad.» If you knew him, you would know that is high praise. 5. Oatmeal Raisin Cookies: Everyone liked them, but this is my review and I do not care for raisins in general. These go last. Long story short, I am getting all of this delivered again. I think we are getting our birthday cupcakes from here next month. 2 of my coworkers are getting quotes for wedding cakes. Try this place. It is delicious.
