So I had my birthday here Saturday Oct 30 I went through a promoter George Salas. I got 2 bottles of goose and 1 Bacardi they threw in 2 free bottles of champagne. We had a blast! The Dj was great and the girls were really hot! I am not sure if it was because we had like 20 people with us or because it was Halloween weekend but we had a lot of fun. Not only was the waitress and bussers really attentive but i didnt leave feeling like i got raped on prices for bottle service. No set up fees and bottles were set a really decent price. It was by far one of the best birthday celebration ever!!!

This past week my friend asked me to meet her at Bronx Bar for our Bowling for Boobies happy hour. I left my office in the galleria and started heading to West U. Wait, Oops, I had completely forgotten they had opened one on Washington. and she meant that one. So, after tons of traffic, I typed in the address in my phone and I passed it by twice before I could find the place. NOSIGN! – Grrrr… Finally I found it, and was pleasantly surprised. Sweet bartender, took my order as soon as I walked in, and we were well taken care of. It’s small, but well organized, and in a good location if you can find it. Would go back!

This place was astonishingly completely empty. It was our third or fifth stop of the night and we needed some damn AC and a drink. So this asian dude walks into a bar… really… wearing a blonde wig. It was our friend Anthony and he was so drunk he was beginning to bite people. Not as drunk as Randall though. Randall laid down on the table outside and dared us to take shots out of his belly button. But I digress. Bottom line is that we took over this small, somewhat swanky bar and the barmaster took it in stride. Chatting it up, pourin us drinks, and generally being totally cool. I loved this little space — it’s well done, clean and classy without being pretentious and best of all, there were no jerk shirted jerks.

this place sucks. décor, layout, music, and the doormen who lie about why they dont let people in. save yourself and walk down to pearl bar. at least you can hula hoop and play ping pong. this is just another overly pretentious place filled with gyrating no-rhythm yuppies, «jeans and a shirt» douches with their butter faced chicks.

Came for the $ 13 all you can eat crawfish on Saturday. It was awesome! They make their crawfish with sausage so it was salty and spicy, just the way I like it. It’s a great deal. The beers are a little steeper but normal for Washington. $ 5 Shiners…

First off, they kinda trick you into paying for«valet» when you pull up near the place. Oh and it’s frikkin $ 10 bucks — where are we San Francisco? To top it off, I watched the guy park my car on the street! The only redeeming factor about this place is that we prolly spent a totaly of $ 10 bucks or less inside on drinks. I have never heard of 50 cent drinks!

Seafood is indeed my weakness. Until moving to Texas I had never had crawfish, now I can’t get enough of them. I went to Bronx Bar on Washington to try the«all you can eat Crawfish» on Saturday from 12pm to 7pm. Got there, found a spot, got my wrist band from the bar and started eating Crawfish! The place is really small but it has a patio and an upstairs. The patio is covered downstairs, but on the second floor the sun was beaming! I didn’t need a tan, so I stuck to the 1st floor. The bartenders were great, very friendly and as soon as I walked to the bar, asked me if they could help me. The place was very busy, but it didn’t feel too crowded. Parking was limited though, so get there early. Now, to the crawfish. I ate about 10 to 15 pounds of those little suckers and they were pretty good. My first basket was great, perfectly seasoned. The second was too darn spicy for my taste. The third was spicy too. The fourth had too little seasoning… However, they do have the Creole seasoning next to the table in case you want more«spice in you life.» I had a margarita and beer, yes beer! I know I’ve said all kinds of things about beer, but when it comes to Crawfish, it is the perfect accompaniment. So, now my right thumb is all scratched up from the peeling process, but my belly was full of crawfish, potatoes and yummy corn for the rest of the day! It is definitely a great value! I had a great time there and once my cholesterol gets back to normal should be right back for MORE!!!

By far the worst of the Bronx Bar series. It’s in the dead spot on washington right now. So if you make your way here expect to either move your car or walk at least 4 blocks in either direction to go to another place. Basically dead, even on a friday night.

This is a quaint little bar that recently opened up as an addition to the Bronx Bar family here in Houston on Washington Avenue. There’s a dj booth, kitchen, several tvs, two bars and a patio/deck area. It’s pretty small, but the drinks are mediocre and the food is surprisingly delicious. I will definitely return for happy hour and a light dinner.

INCREDIBLYDOUCHYESTABLISHMENT. STAYAWAY… READARTICLE. So.this is what the new face of racism looks like. I used to LOVEBRONX! and my husband is even friends with the owners of the bar; great location and great music! but being Asian, married to a white guy and not having many asian friends, I guess I hadn’t encountered the racist comments that so many people had mentioned. Last w/end I did; I went in a group of asian people have reserved tables with $ 300 dollar bottles; the only thing mentioned to staff was to have all of them get in. Sure enough, at the door the owner himself said no to the entire group. With a 2 table reservations and bottle service, he still turned us down. My husband argued, all his friend argued, even manager looked embarrased. Help boycott this place.

It was a bachelorette Saturday night with my sexy girls and we ended up at the new Bronx Bar. I’ve been to the other 2BB and they are all about the same. Washington St. is the new hot bar spot in Houston, and this is the new hot bar. Kung Fu Pimp was playing the feel good music he always delivers. The bartenders where beautiful women that where friendly and fast, a must for me! If you are looking to dance, with good friends, drink and music, this is the spot. You will easily find many people surrounding you that are thinking the same thing.

Pretty cool little bar. I think it just opened up. I wasent wearing the proper attire so they gave me a little hassle about it but since there werent that many people they usually slack on the restrictions. He just told me the regular bouncer phrase«usually we dont allow sandals… etc…» Small area downstairs, plays pretty good music the DJ stand is raised really high up above everybody. The outside doesnt have a legit fence around it so their tables are literally roped off. Sorta makes you feel like a ranch animal, rooftop area is pretty cool any bar on Washington in that area though will have a pretty good view. Only problem is that its REALLY small. If this place gets popular and packed, I can see it being really annnoying because of how small it is. Dance area is pretty cool, dont get me wrong, even though its small i think it has a lot of potential. Bathrooms are single person usage as well. Didnt really have a chance to search for another one. Details got a bit hazy after a while.
