Brittex Maid Service

I have used this service for quite some time (years). Helen the owner has always been helpful and accommodating. For the price, and to have the house cleaned I thought this was the best value for the money. It was a pleasure to come home to a clean house and the little things that they completed made it all worth it. Like if I set out linens the maid would replace the sheets for me, and made sure to place the dirty linens in the washer/​dryer and started the cycle. Occasionally there may have been a scheduling conflict but Helen was quick to call and tell me of the re-​schedule. Plus, one time I had forgotten that they were coming and didn’t get house in order, and I believe that is when Helen started to text me that I was due for service in a week and just confirmed scheduling with me that route. I really appreciated her level of service and the work of the maids.

Like most people I look to Unilocal review to help me figure out which service to use. The rates offered by this company can’t be beat for the level of service they provide. Not only did the owner do a complete walk –through of my home, but every question I had was answered to a T. I felt completely comfortable with letting her staff in my home. She need a great job. Any issue that came to mind, the cleaning lady addressed in a professional manner. I will definitely use them again!

I used this service for several months. The website was nice. The owner toured my house and gave me a detailed list of what would be done and quoted me a price we agreed on. At first, I was happy with the service… that was until the cleaning lady left and was replaced by another one, after a few reminders of what was missed, the new maid was doing an OK job… but that did not last she got replaced by another one and everytime the quality got worst and worst… the owner kept defending her people… the stairs were not vaccumed, they totally overlooked the master bathroom… etc. on the last visit my house looked exactly as I had left it when I got back minus the check… The owner was stupid enough to tell me that for the money we paid she did not send me her good maid… I would have to pay more for a good maid… isn’t she supposed to hire only good maids? Hello! she was the one who set up the price… Well, some good came out of this… I fired them and got a wonderful cleaning lady!

SCAM!!! I would give this a NEGATIVE star rating if it was possible. Do NOT use this cleaning service. This was the absolute worst cleaning service with the most unprofessional owner. My home was cleaned a few weeks back and it was the worst cleaning job I have ever experienced. NO CLEANING PRODUCTS WERE PROVIDED (I was told they were and its also stated on their website) so I provided everything and 6 hours later when I returned my 4 bedroom home was not even close to being clean. My floors were never even swept let alone mopped or swiffered (which I provided all the above). I came home to my TV on, food eaten, and nothing more than my counters wiped down. Clean Linens were left and never changed. I left a check for 80+ dollars and the girl was gone. I called to the owner to complain and even took pictures and she told me I needed to contact the cleaning lady myself. I WAS APPALLED to say the least. I was so upset and said I would cancel the check (which she had immediately cashed upon receipt). I have attempted numerous times to get in touch with the owner (the British lady) and have left several messages with no return phone call. I wish there was some way I could upload the pictures I took and all of the text messages from the owner promising a cleaning and never following through after cashing the check. BE WARNED — this is a horrible, despicable business with a horrible human being as an owner… I even contacted the BBB…
